Another wonderful experience at Tasty Thai the staff is so attentive and friendly each and every time we have dined here . Highly recommend their spring rolls and curry I've tried all of them . Today I ordered curry and added eggplant mine came with chicken carrots , peas , and zucchini plus I added the eggplant it was so delicious. Our food is always hot and so fresh tasting vegetables are never over cooked . My husband ordered the General Tso chicken I tried a couple pieces it was scrumptious . He also ordered their chow mien . Everything was so good . If you haven't had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant I would definitely check it out !!!! Fyi for those that enjoy adult beverages they do have a full bar !!!

Been ages since I've been here and felt like an updated review was in order. We came on a Saturday at 5 pm (placed opened at 430 pm) and there was a lot of patrons already seated. So here is what we ordered and a review Appetizer: chicken satay $13.99 for 5 skewers. I'll be honest, a bit overpriced for an appetizer. It wasn't that bad but it's just marinated chicken breast that needs the peanut sauce and the sweet cucumber condiment to add a little flavor. It came first but wasn't tremendously hot temperature wise. 4 out of 5 stars. Beef pad thai $17.99 ($2 for upgrade to beef, on the menu, its chicken pad thai at $15.99). I thought it was nice to see the beef slices on top rather than mixed in like other Thai restaurants. They add peanuts and bean sprouts and green onions on the side besides a slice of lemon. It was actually pretty good and my favorite of the items we ordered. Still a bit on the sweet side but I would get this again for sure. 5 out of 5 stars Pad Blue Mussels - my wife's favorite. I only tried one but wasn't into the flavor that much. Since my wife ate most of it, I'll assume it was good. No grade since dish wasn't meant for me. Fried Banana with ice cream $9.99. This actually took a good 10 mins to wait on after we had finished the main course. I highly recommend getting it and tastes good with their vanilla ice cream. 5 out of 5 stars Considering how busy they were, we got our meals relatively fast. The staff was super friendly but there was time when they were so busy (only 3 of them) that it took awhile to get our check. Service 5 stars Overall, since we haven't frequented this place often, this meal was enjoyable that we would come back when craving for thai.

Delicious and so tasty! Excellent service and very Attentive. Highly recommend this place.

Awful experience. The only male server in that place was rude and argumentative. I ordered Spicy Vegetarian Fried Rice, and I took a bite and it smelt weird and find out it came with fish/oyster sauce--clearly not vegetarian. When I questioned it, he insisted I should've said "vegan" and claimed fish/oyster sauce is vegetarian, which is ridiculous. Despite multiple requests to talk to owner he showed zero interest to come talk to us in resolving the issue as the server after their mess up bad mouthed and said if we let you in next time ask for Vegan Fried rice. Many reviews mention this same behavior of rudeness of the server. Will never return. Lost appetite. Had to google to show this place Fish/Oyster sauce is not suitable for vegetarian or vegan (attached photo)

A good place to get your Thai fix! I have been coming here for over 15 years and have seen this place evolve. Despite the time moving forward, they are always consistent and super accommodating. Every staff I come across is very friendly and attentive. They are very knowledgeable on the menu and provide great recommendations. I had a large party for a lunch outing. The server was very patient with us and recommended some of her favorites. The food we received was very delicious and fresh. From the fried chicken wings, spicy garlic calamari, pad Thai, and tom yum koong it all tasted unique with amazing flavor. This place has a bar to order alcoholic drinks plus a bunch of seating. They also have a private section for large groups as long as you book a reservation ahead of time. A downside is their prices are a little higher compared to other Thai restaurants and the portions have gotten a little smaller.

The last time we were here we had such a pleasant experience. Although the place was surprisingly busy late evening on a weekday, the service was great and very quick. This is my first time having Thai food in the CV and I was not disappointed. Food: 4/5 Service: 5/5

Good, clean restaurant. Waiter attentive and pleasant. Tom yum soup okay. Kind of a disappointment. Had with clear broth. Spicy eggplant with tofu excellent. Noodle dish tasty. Only took a pic of soup because forgot to take other pic. Recommend highly with exception of soup unless you like broth without a lot of taste

This is my go-to Thai restaurant. The place itself is located in a well-kept small shopping strip - it is clean and spacious inside. It is a casual place to dine with friends and family - and they can accommodate groups. They always have lots of people ordering to go as well. This family-run business always gives excellent service. They are very polite and work so hard to ensure you have exactly what you need. The food is fresh, delicious and comes out quickly. It is the best Thai place in the area. They also offer several gf dishes! I never get any pictures because we always just dive right in. My staples are the spring rolls - it comes with 6 and the best peanut sauce I've ever tasted (I think they make it from scratch). I love their Tom Yum Kai soup - you need to order it Thai style...sooo good! And the pad sweet and sour hits the spot! I've ordered multiple other dishes, but those are my go to. I almost always have leftovers as the portions are a good-size, so I get to enjoy the food another day. Come try it! The food is fresh, delicious and healthy- your taste buds will be happy!

Donoby's - A Soft Spot in the Night…read more I walked into Donoby's tonight while waiting for the crowd across the street at Toriis to thin out, and honestly... I'm glad I did. This bar has an underrated, easygoing pulse that a lot of places try for but can't quite land. No shouting, no chaos, just gentle conversation, light laughter, and that familiar hum of people enjoying being out without needing to prove anything. The bartender, Amy, we actually sang "Broken" by Seether & Amy Lee together at karaoke here a couple weeks ago, pours with care. You can feel when someone takes pride in the small things, a clean pour, a quick smile, a read on the room. She has that. The crowd here tonight is relaxed. Mixed ages, no pressure, no edge. Just people unwinding from the week. It is a place where you can sit with a beer, breathe for a minute, and not feel like the world is tugging at you. Plenty of seating, the lighting is warm, the décor is classic without being stale, pool tables in good shape, and a vibe that makes you want to stay for just one more....because it is comfortable. That is rare. Donoby's isn't loud about who it is. It doesn't need to be. It just is....and that's what keeps a place alive. I'll be back.

I have left wonderful reviews in the past for this place but I have to share my experience…read morerecently. My boyfriend and I have been to Standard Pub several times during the day, and every visit has been fantastic. We've enjoyed the food, drinks, and even had the pleasure of speaking with the owner on multiple occasions. The service was always welcoming, and the food was consistently phenomenal. Because of those great experiences, we decided to bring some friends on a Saturday night. We arrived around 7:30 PM, and the atmosphere looked promising. There appeared to be a DJ setting up, and the crowd seemed excited for a night of music, food, and drinks. Unfortunately, our experience that evening was completely different from what we had come to expect. We ordered food and drinks, and while our server wasn't outright rude, he seemed uninterested in providing the level of service we had previously received. As the night went on, things became increasingly odd. Shortly after ordering another round of drinks, while our drinks were still full and we had just received them, the server approached our table and asked if we were finished. My boyfriend jokingly responded, "No, let me talk to your manager," and laughed, assuming the server was joking as well. The server responded, "Yeah, it's my brother," but with an attitude that left everyone at our table looking at each other wondering what had just happened. He then informed us that we needed to put a credit card on file. At that point, we had already been there for over an hour, and it seemed strange that this requirement was only being brought up then. We also noticed that no other tables around us were being asked for a card. The most disappointing part came when we received the bill. There was an additional $60 service charge added--$35 on my friends' bill and $25 on ours. Confused, we asked for an explanation. The explanations we received kept changing. First, we were told it was because my boyfriend was sitting with another group, which was completely false. Then we were told it was because the bill exceeded $100. After that, we were told it was because there were more than six people in our party, despite there only being four of us. The inconsistent explanations were frustrating and made it feel as though the staff were simply making up reasons to justify the charge. Our issue wasn't necessarily with a service fee itself--it was the lack of disclosure and the conflicting stories we were given when we asked about it. To make matters worse, the receipt also included a separate line for an additional tip. After discussing it with them and explaining that additional charges should be clearly communicated to customers, the service charge was ultimately removed. This review is not a reflection of the food, which remains excellent, nor of our previous experiences at Standard Pub. It is solely based on the service and handling of the situation during our Saturday night visit. We left feeling disappointed and confused, especially because this establishment had earned our trust through many positive visits in the past. I sincerely hope this was an isolated incident and that management addresses these issues so other customers don't have a similar experience

This worked fine for us. We had our menus and drinks in a reasonable time, and had a relaxing time throughout. We both had the pulled pork sandwich along with the ice tea. My friend, whom I realized often fusses about the meals we share, was more critical. His comments were "Wrong bun, hamburger bun shoulda been an onion bun" and "How long does it take to make a sandwich?" (The wait time was totally reasonable to me.) He didn't like the potato salad (but ate it all with little time spared). He liked the meat in the sandwich, giving it a 5 out of 5. He liked the service less (I felt it was on point and just fine.) Unfortunately, my dining experience wasn't as positive. I waited almost an hour and a half for my meal, and by the time it arrived, everyone else in my party had nearly finished eating. Since it took so long, I ended up taking the food home. I did try it later, but I wasn't very impressed. That may have been because the food was cold by the time I ate it, as it sat for quite a while before it was brought to me. Inside room is ok, a bit cold feeling with concrete counters, floors, etc. There were several groups at the bar, 3-4 guys on one end, 2 guys at the other, so I sat in the middle. The first red flag was the female bartender, who was dressed in sweats and a ball cap, like she had just rolled out of bed. Very unprofessional, even for a beer/pub. She seemed disinterested in serving me and was more concerned about talking with the 4 guys. Then another guy & girl joined that group. They all knew one another, obviously regulars. The beer list was decent and well-balanced. 4 IPAs, a couple of Pils/Lager and Stout/Porters, Hazy IPAs, Cider/Selzer, and 4 grocery store beers: Coors Light, Modelo, Bud Light, and ? IPAs were from Henhouse, Drakes, Dust Bowl, and ? Large food menu for such a small place. From the bar, you can easily watch the cook on the flattop. After reading the list of sandwiches, I figured the turkey/ham/etc. was the Sysco-type, inexpensive kind, so I opted for a cheeseburger. Burger & fries arrived on a metal sheet pan. The burger looked good, and the fries looked a bit undercooked (not golden brown). Bun was toasted on the flattop and had a bit of mayo, no mustard, ketchup, etc. Fries came with a small 1oz thimble of ranch. As I suspected, the fries were undercooked. I cut the burger in half, and the center was undercooked. Then I noticed the burger patty was actually two thin patties pressed together. WTF? First bite was a warning- the meat had no seasoning and tasted like cardboard. Thankfully, I got a second beer and washed down the burger. Only ate half of the burger. I'm guessing they sell a lot of booze, because there is no way people are going for the food. I wouldn't be surprised if this place is closed by the end of 2026.

I would give it 5 stars for the friendly service! But I had to knock off 2 stars because what I ordered was not very good. I ordered the Thai tacos and they offered a low-carb version on a bed of lettuce instead of tortillas. The presentation was nice and I know they really tried, but it was pretty bad. The sauce tasted more like ketchup and did not taste like a Thai sauce at all. It was supposed to have chopped peanuts in it but it hardly had any. The chopped chicken pieces were drowned out by the ketchup tasting sauce. I thought there would be more avocado on it but there was only a tiny piece on each taco and they chose a bad avocado because the avocado was turning brown with stringy fiber in it. I couldn't eat it after a few bites. On the other hand hubby had fish and chips which he liked. The french fries were good. So my dish was a bomb while hubby's was decent and predictable. I would return if I'm in the area because the service is so friendly and nice, but I would not order that again. I would try something more mainstream that's hard to botch up like maybe a hamburger or a sandwich.
