I went through n National Hot dog day - bogo I got the regular hot dog and what I thought were onion rings. The weiner had a snap but I'd much rather eat Portillos. The onion rings were not onion rings. They were onion straws. They were ok. One and done, I'll go to Portillos.

Ordered their Chicago dog... just the hot dog itself wasn't bad but not a fan of their Chicago dog... a little pricey but I also know everything nowadays is just expensive... Wished their drive through was open though.

We've been Ted's fans for years and years from our visits to the Tempe location and we've been waiting for the new Chandler location to open. The food was just as good as we remember from our Tempe visits. Perfectly chargrilled hot dogs, tasty fries and onion rings and, of course, the Loganberry drink.  The service was so friendly (but a bit overwhelmed). Keep in mind longer wait-times should probably be expected at the new store. Plan accordingly. Our wait was on the longer side but reasonable with how busy it was. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with misters (but we tend to take our Ted's to go and eat it at home). It's all nostalgic foods that you know and love and so happy to have another location in the Valley now.

Ted's has been a family favorite for many years. We would always go to the Tempe location, so when we heard they were opening one in Chandler, we knew that we had to go. I appreciate the interior design; it still has hints of retro but with a modern and comfortable feel. We ordered a variety of items for our family of 5, and the order came out quickly despite the line of people. I thought the fries and onion rings were tasty, but I'm sad to say that my footlong dog was a bit too charred and had dried out in the grilling process; it made for a tough bite. Other than that, everything else was great!

This is a try it once and never again place. Way over priced and ultimately just fell flat. Polish dog had way too thick of a casing. Couldn't even finish it. Fry's were soggy. What a bust They only serve Pepsi products. Their kids meals are advertised as $7 but then they charge you $8.25 for them. And sides. Who in the world charges $1.39 for each ranch!!!! This place was highway robbery. Service was fine. They came around to our table at one point and asked us how everything was. Also for being 106* outside there were not enough tables inside to seat everyone. Standing room only indoors and groups waiting for tables because it was way too hot outside. Also looking over our receipt I think we should have been offered combos. Since we ordered hot dogs, fries and drinks but all were charged separately and I'm assuming therefore more expensive?

Ordered quite a few items here. I liked the burger though it could've used more sauce. Both hot dogs were good. I think I prefer the sausage dog over the other one though. The fries were probably the worst part. Although the chilli cheese was decent tasting, there wasn't much on the fries. I think ordering regular fries and having aioli on the side would've probably been a better idea. Had to sit outside because this place is pretty bustling and there were no seats. The misters made it bearable though!

I've lived here for 35 years and never been to a Ted's, but my first experience was a sneak peek of the new location in Chandler and now I'm definitely a fan. This is just good, solid food made with care. The all-beef hot dogs hit the spot, and the burgers are great. We tried the loganberry milkshake--definitely a unique offering--and we loved it! I love the vintage decor and the historic photos of other locations. Service is fast and friendly, and overall, the new Ted's is a great addition to the neighborhood.

Casual spot with hot dogs and burgers. Lots of topping options, friendly fast service. Hot dogs are delicious, fries and onion rings were also yummy!

    Looks at that!

Glad to see Ted's get their new restaurant opened and running. Beautiful restaurant and certainly no expense spared on the setup and design. Got through the line fairly quickly. Amazed they had mostly one talented guy grilling up the dogs and burgers and our order was ready in less than 15 minutes. I had expected longer as they were very busy.. We had a foot long with chili and onions with a split of fries and onions rings. Perfectly done and as tasty as I'd remembered. Looking forward to the upcoming steak sandwich and trying out some sausage. Pretty happy the Ted's is right between my house and my girlfriend's.

Food was average, the dogs are better than a ballpark dog but not better than what we can make at home. Just didn't taste the appeal. The onion rings were like eating fried batter with very little onion. It was a busy afternoon that didn't impact the review. It's understandable they need to work out the kinks of people standing around waiting to pick up the orders and the drink area. Never been to any location and this will be our last time visiting. Next time we are craving hot dogs, we're better off picking up ingredients at the Walmart across the street and making something at home instead.

    Classic hot dog!

Smells like BBQ in summertime. Im originally from Cali so this reminded me of home. I know summers in AZ are brutal and not much BBQing going on ;). Staff was super friendly! I got a classic hot dog and biting into it had a good crunch. So yummy. Wasn't too busy which was great. I will definitely be going back.

You know it's gonna be great when you walk in and there is an instant undeniable vibe AND everyone is smiling. From the inviting dining room, to the cute picnic tables outside, to the gender neutral bathrooms to the friendly employees to the delicious iconic Teds food, you definitely will not be disappointed. Let's call it "Newstalgic"! I grew up on Ted's in Tempe and this is even better than I remembered. I loved the open kitchen where you can see them making your food. They announce your name when your food is ready. So fun!! The employees are working hard and still take time to greet you with a smile. The new Teds is located on the Chandler/Gilbert border in a brand new facility with open beams on the ceiling and some pretty fantastic retro decor. We tried a variety of things from the menu. Everything came out looking like food porn. The Double burger with Ted's aioli burger sauce was cooked to perfection. The hot Italian sausage was especially good with grilled onions. The polish and all beef dogs were hot and fresh and had the iconic casing snap (yes!) but my favorite was the split onion rings and fries. We couldn't leave without getting a chocolate shake. Perfectly refreshing on a warm summer night. If you've never been to Ted's, you must try this place...it's been around for almost 100 years! Conveniently located on Gilbert and Germann.

Good Ranch. The ranch at Ted's Hot Dogs deserves its own spot on the big charcoal grill in the sky. I just licked it out of my palm like a feral raccoon and achieved true spiritual enlightenment.

Hubs was eating his burger without any complaints which is what you want. Both of us went with the hand cut fries. Crispy and very good! We can't wait to return. This place is legit!

We asked if they could turn on the sound for the World Cup and they were more than willing to accommodate. I thought the Balboa burger was very good and I would have enjoyed the gas lamp burger better if the red pepper didn't keep slipping out. They don't charge you if you change fries for tots or even your burger patty for a chicken or turkey patty, which is really nice. Lowlights: I'm a big french fry eater and I didn't really like the fries here I found them too soft. The majority of their tables inside are barstools, which is a bit uncomfortable for me personally.

I was a little disappointed that it was a smash burger instead of a thick, juicy patty, but nonetheless the flavors were impeccable. I added a fried egg on top too for $2 to make the burger even heftier. Wow I'm still thinking about it the day after. Also the fries were skinny and perfectly crispy!! But I also got the Beach Please cocktail (1800 Coconut Tequila, Passion Fruit Orange Guava Juice, Lime Juice, Triple Sec) but it wasn't what I expected. I couldn't really taste the Passion Fruit Orange Guava Juice, mostly coconut and lime. It was still a refreshing and cheap cocktail, but it wasn't quite what I was looking for. My new favorite spot for burgers in the Phoenix metroplex, but I can't give it a full 5 stars as I was taken aback by the smash burger patty and didn't love my cocktail. They didn't have a Spritz on the menu, so I went with this. I did enjoy the flavor, but could only have one of these as pretty sweet. - Heirloom Tomato Toast: This was the perfect start to the meal, and the vibrancy of the heirloom tomatoes was refreshing. I really enjoyed the miso aioli as it really complimented the tomatoes. - Side of Crispy Potatoes: Sometimes you just need some carbs, and these hit the spot for a starter before entrees though it is listed as a side. - Dry Rub Chicken Wings: These were decent for wings, but I think I would refrain from ordering again as the sauce choices just weren't great. - Mercato Sourdough Pizza: My coworker throughly enjoyed this pizza, and it intrigued me to return to order one as I couldn't have this one (pesto). - Orange Olive Oil Cake: This was perfection! The salted honey whip + berry coulis helped balance out the denseness and tartness of the orange olive oil cake. Genuinely a contender for my favorite dessert this summer, and I've had a few when spending 15+ days traveling for work. I'd definitely would return here, and one of my new favorite spots in Downtown Chandler!
