Several weeks ago after a hard rain we discovered termite droppings by our French doors at the back of our house. My hubby decided to also check our attic and found more there. We were not wanting to tent our house and tried not to panic. Instead this girl jumped on Yelp, started searching for local termite companies and read many reviews. Boom, I found my guys. Jose and Vlad showed up as scheduled and took time checking the entire house including other structures on our property, attic and the crawl space under the house. Very thorough! After the inspection was over I waited 20 minutes for their proposal. Jose and Vlad went over the detail sand explaining everything. We were given 2 options: 1 for tenting the house and 1 for spot treatments. We were not down for packing up everything, toxins and moving out for several days. So, spot treatment it would be!!! We scheduled the treatment for the following week and were very happy with the work Arthur and Carlos did who work for Jose and Vlad. From the moment I contacted Termite Pro, the response was fast (hours) and they set us up within days for a visit. We found the (there is no way else to say it) termite poop from a window sill. Gross. And we did have a full tenting done 8 years ago. Turns out termites have seasons. This was a different type than what had been tented for. Because we caught it early they were able to treat with non toxic methods and we did not have to tent or move out. The treatment is good for two years. Any recurring infestation in that timeframe will be treated for free. If we do decide to tent the costs of our current treatment can be used towards tenting. Fingers crossed this works. Having first getting an estimate, then hiring them to do treat our home's perimeter for subterranean termites, I can see why every single review posted on Yelp are all five stars! So, now you can add my 5-star review as well! About a month or so ago, I noticed some bugs with wings messing around our homes foundation (outside). Wasn't sure if they were termites or queen ants. Our house was built on a slab foundation. So, I got three estimates, including Termite Pro. We chose Termite Pro. So, Vald came out and confirmed they were sub termites. The solution, which we didn't like, is to drill into the concrete surrounding our house with a 1/2" drill into the ground, then force a solution into the ground that spreads out and attracts the stupid bugs, which then return to the nest with the solution for others to "nibble" on which is how they are killed. Something like that. The holes had to be drilled almost ALL around the house (some spots they didn't need to), about 2 to 3 feet apart. We didn't like it, but that was also what the other termite killing companies to told us they would have to do. (if your house is on a raised foundation, drilling is probably not necessary.) We found Vlad to be very pleasant, on time for the estimate (actually, he may been a little early), walked the perimeter and even found some spots that needed to be treated for wood eating termites. (The thugs were everywhere, I tell ya!) He was patient in explaining the process to us, answered all our questions, no pressure. We worked out a price with a two year guarantee. He also explained that the holes, after they were treated with the solution, would be plugged. So, we scheduled the job. The two technicians that arrived were on time and very professional. When they came into the house to spray in the attic, they wore booties, and were careful when using the latter and being up in the attic. After that, they began the outside work, drilling, applying the solution, treated for the wood eating termites. They did a very neat and clean when drilling into the concrete, or drilling into the grout lines where we had stone inlaid into the concrete, so the stone we go untouched. Both were very polite and conscientious. They thoroughly clean up the areas where they did the drilling. When done, the drilled spots were very well done and neat. We don't give it much thought when we are outside; that's how much of a clean job they did, and hopefully the plan will obliterate the bugs! We highly recommend Termite Pro. Since their estimates are free, it's worth it to get an estimate from them; the more estimates you get, the more know and have an idea of what your project will cost. read more

My interactions with Vlad were good, but the actual treatment I received from the technician was not. The property had been treated by Termite Pro for subterranean termites in the past, but they didn't follow the instructions on the termiticide the first time around so they were coming back out to do a proper treatment. The guy who showed up didn't know anything about my previous treatment and just started broadcasting termiticide all over my house, trees, and yard with a high pressure hose. I told him this was not what I needed done so he stopped. Next, he did a visual inspection of my fascia boards, which was nothing more than him just staring at them from the ground and saying they looked okay. Lastly, he started drilling through my driveway in random spots to inject a discontinued termiticide that wasn't even what I had originally paid for.
