I came here for the first time with some friends of mine and I was not disappointed. We came after shopping for a while and we're hungry. The portion sizes are large here so it is a good choice if you're really hungry. I am not sure they do this every night but when we went the staff was line dancing. That was fun to see. This was the best prime rib ever. It was so soft and tender. The green beans have bacon in them and are heavenly. The steaks were delicious too. We will definitely want to come again. The music was a little noisy for my taste. You have to raise your voice to be heard. But it's also very crowded and you have to wait for a table. We were seated in a small booth where the bar was visible. Kind of fun to have a darker ambiance with music and sports games on at a distance. Not too loud. Our waitress, Jasmin, was delightful and helpful. As each of us completed our order, she repeated it back to us. I really loved that, especially considering the side selections and add-ons we had with side salads. We probably only waited about 2 minutes for drinks, 5 minutes for our appetizer, and 10 minutes for our food. It was QUICK! The drinks are tall and large, which I always appreciate compared to places like Tahoe Joe's. We ordered the Cactus Blossom, Country Chicken with cream gravy and 16 oz Forth Worth Ribeye. Fries, baked potato, Mac and cheese. The chicken was extremely juicy and fresh, perfectly breaded. The cream gravy was the perfect breakfast/chicken gravy. The steak was buttery and cooked to perfection. The only thing I don't recommend was the mac and cheese, as it was 100% Kraft boxed mac. Overall so impressed. We will definitely be back. Our server disappeared after our food arrived. She went home without telling us. We waited and finally flagged down another server. When I went to pay on the kiosk, I could not not leave a tip. I remember when this place first opened and it was a madhouse! Long wait times and no place to sit while waiting. Well they've added outdoor seating with a cute patio area that is comfortable with the music playing. My family enjoyed every bite and the hubby and I enjoyed our drinks (vodka tonics with extra limes) immensely. I ordered the Ribeye and it was cooked to perfection and perfectly seasoned! My Caesar salad was so crisp and fresh. I also ordered the cactus blossom and potato skins for appetizers, both were good. My daughter ordered the rib basket and was quite upset when she grabbed a bone and only the bone came up lol. I had to explain to her that was a good thing. Where should I begin? Empty tables, but it took almost an hour to be served, at the 45 minute mark, our waitress came and said it would be just a few more minutes! My son ordered BBQ Chicken/Steak combo, medium rare. I had the 6oz Sirloin, baked potato, medium rare. The center of the Chicken was still pink in center, steak was WELL DONE. My steak was past well done, baked potato was so cold, the butter would not melt. And while we are discussing COLD, it was so cold inside this place, I took my son's and my napkin and wrapped around my arms, trying to get warm. My son kept going outside for warmth. This review is a little difficult to write. Let me say that this place is usually a great place to get some great grub. I love that they have an option to join the waitlist ahead of time so you're not waiting forever to be seated. But this visit to Texas Roadhouse was riddled with disappointments. Upon my arrival I told the hostess I had joined the waitlist and would like to check in, I was very rudely told I wasn't on the list. I showed her my phone with the texts showing my confirmation number and the texts instructing me to go to the hostess stand to be seated. She shrugged then sat us at a table. Our waiter Freddie (I think that was his name) he was EXCELLENT!!! He was very prompt, kind, and did an absolutely amazing job handling other tables and checking on us. The food was fresh and delicious! I love my steak very rare and they delivered a perfectly cooked rare steak!! Although my husband's side did get lost in the kitchen, it was still hot and fresh when it found our table. Another frustrating part was when a street vendor (I'm not exaggerating) walked up to our table with potted flowers came up to our table trying to sell them to us. I kindly said no thank you, but he again was asking if we wanted to buy them. I shook my head no and he walked away. But not 5 minutes later the same street vendor walked by with a handful of single stem roses and was going table to table trying to sell the roses, stopping by our table again asking us to buy his items. The receipt says her name was Brenna, but I don't know if that was our first or second server that came to us or not. But our first server needs patience. This lady needs patience. There's no way I should be feeling rushed at a sit down restaurant. Her attitude was not friendly either. It turned out she was rushing before she clocked out because she announced to us she was leaving and new server was going to take her place. She was 10 times better! We started with their version of the blooming onion and for some reason I always find outback's the best, might just be nostalgia as I had it there first. I enjoy their house salads as they are always fresh and crunchy. For main I had the sirloin with shrimp and they nailed my rare+ request and I was super excited for that. My wife and I came to Texas Roadhouse on Friday 5/24 at about 6pm. We called ahead to be placed on the waitlist, and we only had to hang out in the front lobby for about ten minutes before we were seated. I immediately noticed my seat was very wet when I sat down - hopefully, this was water from being wiped down and not the last person's incontinence. I guess I'll never know. My wife and I tried to make conversation over the very loud "nu-country" music being blasted over the speakers and the sporadic birthday "Hee-Haw!" singing and yelling going off every few minutes around the dining room, but we wound up just yelling, "Huh?" at each other because it was so loud. Our server eventually arrived to take our drink orders and give us a big basket of rolls. Upon her return, the server took our dinner orders. I selected a 12 oz. Ribeye, cooked medium, with a loaded baked potato and a salad. My wife ordered the same, except she went with the filet medallions cooked well done. We each had a couple of rolls, and then our dinners arrived. My steak was very good! I ordered it medium, but it was more medium well, which was fine with me. The potato and salad were great, too. My wife loaded up on the free bread so when her steak showed up, she was already full, and it was promptly boxed up to go. Curiously, our beers did not show up to our table until about 10 minutes after our entrees did, so that was odd. I remember this happening the last time we came here too. All in all, the experience AT the Texas Roadhouse was maybe a C+. The restaurant was way too loud, and my seat was wet, but the service was generally friendly, and the food was good. We got out of there for $84+tip. So why the one star review? Well, about three hours after we left, I came down with the worst food poisoning of my life. I threw up 14 times in the following ten hours, and now, Sunday afternoon, my stomach is still in knots. I've lost 7 pounds and have an excruciating headache. Since Friday night, i have not eaten anything because I can't keep it down. I have been carrying a Homer bucket around the house with me, including to the bathroom. I've had to call out sick to work, and I missed an important family get-together all because of this. Needless to say my wife's to go steak was thrown away. I would hate for my dogs to get to it. I can tell you, without a doubt, I will never return to the Texas Roadhouse again. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. read more

Our first time at at this restaurant and I can't wait to come back. The location was convenient for our Christmas shopping since it's in the same parking as Valley Plaza. The place has that cowboy look to it that let's you know you're about to order some finger licking good ribs (if you're into deliciously made ribs that fall off the bone). They had no wait to be seated which is a huge plus when you have starving kids with you. Clean restrooms, but who drew the layout? When you walk into the restroom it gives the vibes of a Tetris game that someone lost because of where the stalls are place. Check it out and you'll understand what I mean. Our server was Kyle and he was wonderful. So attentive and polite. He made suggestions for our food and drinks that were right on point. The food was great but the wait wasn't. We were very thankful for our waiter coming over several times to refill our drinks and bread bowl. And talking about their bread, let me tell you not to eat it or you won't be able to stop. Julian did a fabulous job, was very attentive, and made sure my dad and I were taken care of. My dad's chicken came out cold, and staff immediately responded (within 5 minutes) to check in and provide some goodies for him to use next time. Hands down the best serviced I've experienced in a really long time. I called to ask when last seating was and they informed me it was 945p. I drove my fastest and realized the gps mapped me to roadhouse diner by 945 instead. I still drove to Texas Roadhouse and ran in at 954. Stills around for a few minutes until I was greeted by a waitress who asked if I was trying to get a table 3 minutes before closing. I said yes and she said COME THIS WAY. Hallelujah! They were out of bread by then but I wasn't going to complain. Ordered 2 ribeyes - chefs kiss. Couldn't stop thinking about the meal so we returned the following night. This time got on the wait list. The website said it was going to be 55 minutes so we went to Dave and Busters to pass the time. I decided to check in 70 minutes later and was informed that I needed to check in when I got to the restaurant otherwise I would be placed on a HOLD list. We had a reservation for a party of five at 6:00pm. We were seated around 6:15pm. The place was packed! Servers/Management were so friendly and attentive. I had the Ribeye & Shrimp with mashed potatoes. The steak was cooked and seasoned perfectly- didn't even need steak sauce! It was a good cut of meat. The shrimp were cooked in a lemon garlic butter sauce, and were very tasty. The mashed potatoes did have skin in them which I don't care for, but the texture was good.
