I was very impressed with this new Texas Roadhouse. This is one of my favorite restaurants. We don't have one close so when I heard one was opening in Buford i was really happy. I didn't want to go right when it opened because I wanted to wait til all the "kinks" were worked out. Well we ended up going the forth day they were open. The wait wasn't bad. The service was exceptional. The atmosphere was the best I've seen in a Texas Roadhouse. They play music nonstop and during a certain song (every 30 minutes) the staff line up around the restaurant and do line dancing. It was so much fun for our family. I hope this restaurant dies down so I can come here often without craziness. read more

We ordered online tonight and my son and husband went to get our food. I guess they should have checked the sealed bag because I was missing my dinner salad. We also only got 4 rolls for a family of four adults with four meals. I called and spoke to the manager she told me that we can come back and get the salad and bread. When I told her we are not going to come back tonight, she told me that she will put my name in a book and next time I'll get a free dinner salad (the one we were missing) and she would make sure we get plenty of roles. Seriously more rolls? Are they not free anyways? As we opened up our meals my second side, which was fries, had about 5-6 of them and they were cold. Atleast the bbq chicken was good. My daughters hamburger was horrible! She wanted medium well she got medium, pushing to medium rare. It was still bloody, enough to soak the bread. She ended up throwing it away. For restaurants hurting for business in today's economy I would think Texas Roadhouse would keep a closer eye on the product control. Plus when a customer calls to complain about an order actually offer them something more than just a replacement the next time they come in. Frankly it's not worth us to visit this establishment again to get a replacement salad that I paid for and didn't get and get "extra" free rolls! Wow. Impressed. It took a little time to get the food but we were happy. I had the grilled chicken salad and it was great. The hubby had country fried steak, fries and chili. All of it was awesome. We just ate at the store on Buford Drive and are very disappointed. I ordered the 16 oz prime rib and more than half of it was fat. Half of the other half was of the consistency of pudding - very unappetizing. The server sent it back and I got a new one, which I took home as my wife was done eating by the time the new meat arrived. Good prime rib is usually a large piece of meat from which the portions are carved, but here it took 12-15 minutes to get a new piece. Additionally, I am retired military and was supposed to get a discount, but checking the charge slip, I was not given one. Not a very good first impression at all. read more

I have ordered curbside from here twice & both times my order has been WRONG! It's printed correctly on the receipt but then not prepared correctly at all. The first time i was charged for toppings on my mashed potatoes just not even get the toppings put on there & I ordered a grille chicken Caesar salad...and received my meal with NO chicken. It's partially my fault for not checking my food before I leave the restaurant like I usually do but who is in the kitchen making the food that cannot seem to get my order right everytime ??? read more

Called in advance to reserve a spot for a party of 8, for my daughter's 16th birthday. We got there at 730 in the evening and we watched several people come in an get seated in front of us. We waited impatiently until about 9:50 pm before we were finally seated. Our orders were taken, we waited a while on the food and when it arrived 3 of 8 were immediately wrong and had to be fixed. Steaks were ordered medium well and came to us medium rare, on two other orders. So 5 of 8 orders messed up, 3 hours to get seated and our food, manager did finally assist us after numerous complaints. New location was good, our waitress was great but some of the other staff was not, food wasn't even good to take what was left. The one star is for our waitress, nothing more read more

We have been to this Texas Roadhouse location a few times now. Food has been good, my favorite Jamaican Cowboy Margarita was incredible, and the service was great. Our waitress, Phoebe, was great and friendly, we used call ahead seating and we were able to get seated pretty quickly. The one good part of this meal was the steak. The Fort Worth Ribeye had wonderful flavor and was perfectly cooked. The restaurant itself was a bit of a mess. The booth seat was not wiped so I had to wipe it down to avoid getting whatever gooey stuff was left from the previous diner on my clothes. I had a few questions about the food that the server was unable to answer. We ordered an appetizer and salad with our meal. All of which came within about 2 minutes of each other. We had to eat our steak first so it wouldn't get cold followed by a cold unappetizing appetizer combo that really didn't taste very fresh when it came but was much worse after cramming down our steak. Salad was fine but overdressed. Way too much dressing. Someone who was I think, a manager came by and asked if we needed anything. We mentioned the disappointment at all the food coming at once, but the only response was "sorry about that". Then had to wait forever for the check to get cashed out. Wouldn't have minded but the rest room was a mess as well and I really needed to get home for that purpose. I suppose I could have cleaned it up myself, but I just couldn't bear to pick the used toilet paper off the seat. The other stall had no toilet paper. Not a great dining experience. read more

I love Texas Roadhouse and normally it's great at other locations. I normally go to the Gainesville location but then they built this one in Buford and it's closer and easier to get to for me but service is most of the time not the best. This review comes from multiple visits before and during covid. Almost every time I come I order my steak medium. I almost always get it well done or medium well. I never complain because I hate confrontation, but it's getting to the point where I'm just going to stop coming. I hate paying for a steak that's not even correct and most of the time dried out. The service is sometimes shitty here too. I understand most restaurants are hurting for help after covid but that's not an excuse to hire bad servers. I've had two or three new servers since covid hot that are just not energetic people. Also very forgetful, waited like 20 minutes for some A1 sauce. Not happy. read more

Okay I'm going to preface this with the fact that I don't think I've ever been impressed enough to take the time to write a restaurant review before, maybe once or twice on TripAdvisor and even that was in Key West years ago, so with this being my first Yelp! review and giving it 5 stars, that should tell you a lot on it's own. So tonight, two others and myself had dinner here (our first time) and I just have to say first and foremost that we were beyond elated with the service we received from our server Phoebe! She was absolutely incredible, especially considering the experiences we've had since this whole covid thing started and how guest interactions have been seemingly reduced to absolute minimums these days, which only made tonight stand out that much more! To be quite honest, we all had a rough day, were beat tired and "hungry" would've been an understatement; then seeing how busy they appeared to be just from the parking lot alone left us praying we wouldn't have to sit around for long but yet was also encouraging considering it was only 6-ish on a Tuesday night and they already had a crowd, but still none of us were expecting anything special. However, that began to change as soon as we walked in the door as we were greeted and then sat immediately with plenty of bread and this awesome cinnamon butter right as we got to the table, which was the perfect way to start, by the host who was incredibly friendly as well but never got her name - and that's something you don't typically notice very often, but she certainly stood out to us despite such a limited interaction! Upon being seated, it seemed like within 30 seconds our server was at our table to get our drinks and offered a few appetizers, and since they only had online menus and I was at first having connection issues and then when I finally got to it, it seemed like there was maybe some information missing so we all had a few questions with it being our first time here, which admittedly we felt a little bad about asking so many, seeing as how she was visibly busy with other tables and we were undoubtedly taking up a bit of her time. Yet, not only was she understanding about it but she was able to answer each one without hesitation along with her own suggestions and her own preferences when we were torn between choices. Ultimately, we all decided to go with her recommendations since two of us were still torn on the entrees, and we were more than happy we did because she hit the nail right on the head with what we were looking for. Needless to say (given the 5 star review), she absolutely MADE the experience what it was, and we all agreed that it was nothing short of flawless - from the margarita she mentioned over the beer (insanely good) and the snakebites (must have! They're truly addictive!) down to each of our entrees. As for the food - which was also 10/10 - I had the country fried chicken with brown gravy and rice (again based on her recommendation between that and the fried sirloin) and the other two had a smothered ribeye with a loaded baked potato per her recommendation (which is like sautéed mushroom and onion on the steak and then shredded cheese and bacon bits melted on the potato - looked incredible and will be my choice next time without a doubt!) while the other had a NY Strip I think which also looked great. I honestly wish I could've gotten all 3 for myself because there wasn't a single complaint from anyone at our table and all said was one of the best meals they've had in a very long time - and that says a lot considering how particular they can be. So all in all, thank you Roadhouse for making our first visit become the first of many, and thank you Phoebe for turning what we thought would be a typical, quick meet up/night out into a truly unexpected and incredible experience!! You definitely earned yourself 3 regulars tonight and look forward to our next visit! You guys are awesome! read more

1/10. Server was ok. I ordered the country fried chicken it was absolutely horrible took 1 bite and gagged. Returned it immediately and got the pulled pork SANDWHICH. She arrived back with cold pulled pork no bread just pork. I asked her just to give me the buns she said were out of bread. 10 mins later returned and said we have burger buns. I replied that's fine it'll work. She then walks away gone for 13 mins and comes back wiping down the tables... I'm sitting there like hmmm ..... my fiancé speaks up and says hey did you forget about the burger buns she said oh you said you didn't want them so I threw them away... what.??? No I clearly said I wanted them. The only thing I recommend here is the cheese and bacon fries for appetizer anything else is horrible and comes out cold. read more

Took me awhile to even decide to leave this here but no one deserves to be treated like my family was during our visit to this particular location. We USED TO BE big fans of Texas Roadhouse and were excited to finally try this new one close to our house. Everything started fine from the door to the table but once our server got involved the experience immediately went down hill. Took a few minutes for her to greet our table which we overlooked because it seemed to be a rotation section where several servers were covering tables outside of their section. From there she took our entire order because we knew what we wanted. Several minutes later bread was delivered and about 10 minutes later our drinks came. Everything thing stopped at that point because it took 30 minutes for our salads to arrive. At this point we asked about our entrees and were told "they are coming right up". After another 15 minutes we asked to speak to a manager and asked the server did she forget to ring in our food which she quickly denied. When the manager came over we told her about our experience and while she was there at the table our entrees finally arrived. She immediately left the table as if to dismiss our situation. The steaks were all over done after waiting forever for them. The server then took issue with our table for speaking to a manager and we asked for our check so we could leave. The young lady was very disrespectful in her tone but we paid for our drinks and left. Stay away from this location. read more

Dinner was ok. Steaks were over cooked but the flavor was good. We felt pretty rushed through the meal despite it being an uncrowded Tuesday night. Dinner came out after only a few bites of salad. Waitress brought our complimentary anniversary dessert though we weren't halfway through our steaks, and then the check even before steaks were finished. 3 tables around his called the manager due to problems. We went here for our anniversary....we have never had a bad experience with service or food from Texas Roadhouse in Snellville....this place had horrible service, food wasn't as good as we expected. First impression, I thought this was the best a Roadhouse we've ever ate at. Food was great, salad and steak were perfect. When waitress brought the bill it wasn't our. It was for a $25 bone in ribeye and a filet. We ate a 6oz sirloin, and a 8oz sirloin. They couldn't figure out what the problem was, and I felt like they were trying to say we were trying to cheat them. THE ABSOLUTE WORST!!!!!! Not only were we verbally abused by the manager our Military children were refused service!!!!!! we were told we could leave after we ordered our meal. On May 9, 2022 my husband placed an on-line order to pick up curbside from this Texas Roadhouse in Buford for two prime ribs and sides. He received a phone call stating they were out of prime rib and would we like to change our order. We were disappointed they were out of prime rib but changed our order to two Roadkills instead. When we arrived at curbside and our food was delivered to car, the attached receipt showed our original charge to credit card and then showed there was an overpayment of $30+. The Roadkills (chopped steak) are significantly less expensive than the Prime Rib. We were concerned that the receipt we were given only showed an overpayment not a credit back to our card. My husband called management at the location and we were told it would all be resolved when they closed that day's receipts. When we received our credit card statement we had indeed been charged for the original amount - the prime ribs - and not the roadkills and no credit from Texas Roadhouse showed on our statement. So my husband again contacted management and waited for a return call. When no call back was received, he called again and left message for the owner and we never received a call back. We disputed the charge with our credit card company and the investigation is still on-going, though they have issued a temporary credit to us. The only thing we ever received from management was a copy of a receipt showing we should have received a credit. That is the document we supplied to the Credit Card company. The fact that management never returned our phone calls nor did they seem concerned at all that we had been overcharged $30+ speaks volumes. In addition, the owner did not return our calls. We will not frequent this location again and advise you, if you dine there to be very very careful about reviewing your receipt. read more

if i could list a negative star i would!! waited for my togo order for over 40 min and was told they forgot. since i waited, my lunch break was over, so i could not wait on the manager to become available so i called immediately after i left and got in my car. i was kept on hold for 20 min to just speak with a manager, just for her to try and debate with me about my horrible service. at the end of the day, her job was to rectify the situation not try and argue with the customer. she didn't have to wait 40 min for a togo order that was overcooked and didn't even include plastic silverware! the basics should be understood at this establishment and it very apparent that the customer is not that important to them. read more

This location has a lot to learn. This location is very frustrating if you're thirsty. I usually drink three or four sodas, or teas, or whatever I'm drinking, when I eat at a restaurant. Apparently, according to our waitress, the management instructs the bar staff to fill up the drink glasses to the top with ice before pouring the beverages. I got maybe four sips out of each glass before having to get a refill...which was slow. What kind of nonsense is that? Also, we ordered one steak medium, and it came out very rare. It was sent back, and was barely medium rare on the second attempt. Another one of our steaks (different cut) was ordered medium rare, and came out medium to medium plus. It's a Texas Roadhouse, so the food was tasty, but the management may want to take a fieldtrip over to the Marietta location to get some pointers. read more

Great! Finally a replacement for our former favorite location in Gainesville which unfortunately became inconsistent. You can tell the staff is well trained and happy. Not only was she super sweet, she was also super fast & very attentive. & what a prime location, so close to the Mall of GA. I cannot recommend this place more. Never been to this place but heard nothing but good stuff about it, just a few mishapps though. Last night me my wife and daughter went here for dinner, i couldn't wait to tear it up. The wait was decent before we was seated and the staff was great, But the bread and cinnamon butter was awesome hands down. We got our orders in, everything but my 23oz porterhouse because i wanted it medium well and it came medium rare. It started off good from the outside then going into the bone it was bloody. They had to take it back for another 10-15 minutes. My appetite died after that, my wife knew i wasn't happy so she stopped eating and got to go plates but my daughter enjoyed her meal. What started off good didn't quite end up the way we expected especially for our first time. Is there a second time ? Yes most definitely but not right now, gotta give it some time i don't like being disappointed. I don't mind paying extra for something i like but if that something is not satisfying from expectations then it's not worth the money at all. read more

We like Texas Roadhouse and this was our first visit to this new location. Arrived at 4:30 on a Saturday and was promptly seated. The service was fast and the steak and sides were excellent. We have been to three Texas Roadhouses in our area. I rated this one on top with Gainesville second. The one in Cumming has improved from being very bad when it opened but still is in need of new management or something. read more

We had the worst experience here. I'd give it 0 stars if I could. After we sat down and server took our drink order he disappeared for 25 min until I finally saw him and told him we were ready to order, he said oh I transferred your table to someone else, I said well we have been waiting a long time. He said ok I'll put it in. 20 min passed and not even had we gotten the forks and knives, we had requested more rolls and no rolls. My husband complained to the manager and he had no idea what was going on and said he'd find out. Our salads started coming out then another 20 min to get our entrees. We finally got them but my husband's steak was very well done even though he had asked for medium, 2 other entrees were missing cheese. We complained about the steak and the missing cheese, it took them 10 min to put cheese and we all finished eating and my husband had still not gotten his steak. He called the manager and told him he didn't want it anymore. The manager did give us a $30 discount for the table and took my husband's steak off the bill but it was just absolutely ridiculous, mess up after mess up after mess up. Decided to try the new place. Fun Texas decor, lively, good first impression. Friendly greeting from 3 hostesses with offers of hot rolls and butter and a pail of peanuts. Yum Good way to start the experience. Very nice and prompt waiter. However, the food took too long, Actually, we were just about to inquire when it finally arrived. Our meals were the appetizer ribs and bbq pork sandwich. The food temp was ok, but not right-out-of-the-oven hot. Both the ribs and the pork tasted somewhat dry-like they had been overcooked just a tad, but enough overcooked to make them not as expected. They were definitely edible, just not delicious. The fries were huge, but tasted average, and they too were not piping hot when served. Maybe we will return but not any time soon. read more
