This Roadhouse is actually so bad. Our server kept forgetting our items, we had to keep asking for refills and she just kept looking at us confused. The food took a long time to come out and I get it the food taking a while wasn't on the server but if it's a long wait time for the food I would've wanted at least my drink to drink while I waited. She also wasn't pre-bussing the table. We had a small table and she kept looking at the stack of plates from the appetizers and kept leaving it there. Came to visit on a weekend night. It was very crowded. When they input my info, they said it would be a 30-45 mins wait, but we ended up only a 15 min wait. People were asked to wait outside to limit the number of people inside the restaurant. Masks were provided if you didn't bring one. I had their sirloin 6oz with a side of buttered corn and house salad. Our server was very friendly, though he forgot my family's house salads and forgot our takeout boxes. He did profusely apologize for his mistakes though. They normally served peanuts for free but because of covid they now switched to bread and butter. The bread is very hot and fluffy though! To celebrate my baby being born later on today my parents took me and my fam of 3 here. Our server was great for the most part and the food was ok. We were all disappointed in the sizes of our steaks. Normally they're a lot bigger and juicer and they were dry and smaller. For the record i'm lactose intolerant and didn't eat anything with dairy at all. 6oz sirloin steak with French fries and mash potatoes no gravy. I can't remember what everyone else order. Issue #1 I got gravy on my potatoes and when I asked my server if there was dairy in the gravy I was told no. Well there had to of been because I'm sick to my stomach as I'm making this review. Issue #2 They gave us the WRONG payment machine. Some how we paid for the people's next to us bill of $225.81 with a tip and that table got our bill of $143 and it was only catch because our server told us "I'm sorry but you didn't pay for you food." We show her the email of the receipt and she said "oh no some how you paid the wrong bill." So she got her supervisor who had to get the manger named Juan S. who tried to get us to pay our $143. On top of the $225.81 we just paid to cover his own butt. Like nice try buddy. We were told that the only person who can fix the issue works tomorrow and we will get a refund issued out tomorrow. When hers came out her steak was cooked like mine, too rare for her. She sent it back and she was going to enjoy her ribs while her steak was getting cooked more, but they forgot the ribs too. This place was busy as could be. We enjoyed our meals, most of us. My shrimp skewer was over cooked but overall I enjoyed my meal. The ribs were hit and miss for some in our group, my husbands was delicious AND so was his brothers. The food and menu here are a throw back in time to when gas was a little more than a dollar per gallon. Classic fares start will a beer list basically limited to brews you see on TV at half time during the Super Bowl. The white rolls are pillowy. The steaks are solid if not spectacular. An excellent baked potato with crispy, slightly charred and salted skin was the highlight of my dinner. Dinner here for our group of 6 was phenomenal - despite the huge crowds, we were seated within ten minutes due to having joined the waitlist online in advance and the front desk's diligent monitoring of it. Service was beyond wonderful - friendly and attentive, notwithstanding the fact that it is New Year's Eve and everyone wanted to eat here! We said how much we loved the bread and the waiter, true to his word, kept it coming! The salads were crisp and fresh, the dressing was on the side as requested, and when the ribs ran out after I had ordered them they made a special effort to get me a four bone taster portion which my son gobbled up!
