I would give negative stars if I could. The owner kicked out our party of 9 because 1 of our party was in the bathroom sick because she hadn't eaten all day. Owner did not ask if she was okay, came to our table and said she was discontinuing service and to get out. When I tried to reason with her she just kept cutting me off and saying she didn't care so I absolutely told her she was a fucking bitch. Way to treat customers! All of us are customer service workers and we were being polite, we literally got kicked out right after sitting down because 1 of the 9 of us was pale white and shaky because she hadn't eaten the entire day. The guy behind the bar was really nice but I won't name him. He felt sooo bad about what happened. 1. I asked for a gluten free bun for my sandwich. Food came out, bun not gf. Good thing I was skeptical and know gf vs not gf. We waited over 20 min for just a plain sandwich, no bun. We left before it was ready (it was lunchtime, not too busy, plenty of empty tables). 2. We left because of the cockroach that came out from behind something on the bar and headed straight for my plate (kept the food, ate the veggies while waiting). Had to flick it away. Bar guy called the manager, they were nice and comped my food. That was kind, bar guy was apologetic. Manager never said a word to us. We won't go back. Let me start with their customer service was excellent tonight. Full house and yet our server Gabriel didn't skip a beat, quick, attentive and constantly would check in. (Had to tell the mgr about his great customer service after dinner as well). Each server/employee encountered was great as well. This made the experience that much better with the great tasting Rib eye steaks and sides. Appetizers and food was out rather quickly as well. Too stuffed for deserts. Again. lol. I love this place! They are always busy, but they get your food right out and the chicken is the most tender thing I have had anywhere! First of all the service was great! Our server was wonderful. When my husband explained what was wrong he completely understood and agreed. The food on the other hand. Could have been better. My plate was hot, my husband's plate was cold along with a few other plates within our party. And along with my husband's plate, the steak was made to order. It was med well instead of med rare. FOH manager could have listened to the server instead of coming back to our table And it never fails that his orders are never right. At the end of the night, we come to find out that the BOH fists were thrown and they sent two of the cooks home. This could have been relayed to servers to relay to the tables. Unacceptable. This restaurant easily scores five stars. The food was good in the service was amazing. But most importantly, this is the first restaurant I have stumbled upon in the whole state of Arizona that enforces the covid-19 safety procedures. They have a stack of masks at the front for customers that don't bring their own. And I overheard them requiring several customers to Don masks before entering. We are visiting from out of town and we love our Texas Roadhouse. Our server Diego was awesome he was attentive and gave great recommendations. I ordered the 8oz sirloin cooked medium and it came out very well done. I noticed a lot of reviews talking about how the steaks are cooked so maybe that's something they need more training on? The new steak took a VERY long time to come out, the manager I believe her name was Hannah was checking on us and apologized for the wait. The new steak was a little more rare but I didn't mind. Honestly, I cannot believe this establishment has any stars at all. We didn't even get to sit down and eat due to the horrible service from the hostesses. We got yelled at by a hostess multiple times for standing exactly where a different hostess told us to. We also had joined the wait list, and was told 25 minutes for our wait, and ended up waiting an hour before we gave up to to everything else that went wrong. Then, while trying to take our names off of the waitlist, I stood in front of the hostess stand for 6 minutes while they avoided eye contact and refused to help me. First thing when you walk in there's a sign to brag about their great service. Well after today, that sign should be taken down. We come here from time to time & know there is sometimes a wait but when the parking lot is half full you would think it would take less than 20 min which is how long we waited for a party of 6. We got sat at a corner booth with literally a bunch of empty tables around us. We ordered then 2 family members wanted to join us. They were in the entrance wait area.So we asked if they could be seated right next to us in 1 of the 7 empty tables around us. Our waitress said someone will be by to talk with you about that. I was expecting a manager but another gal came & told us that they cannot seat anyone next to us as it would mess up the tables settings. She said they can sit at a different table or you can checkout & get back on the waitlist as we were eating our salads. I told her there are literally so many empty tables here and so many severs standing around & we're just trying to help you fill them. She wasn't nice & said so do you guys want to try to get another table? I was so upset I said I'll tell them you don't want their business. She just walked off. We're visiting our sons in Flagstaff. We brought them here for lunch. My wife and I had the prime rib and it was delicious. Our vegetables, not so much. My wife enjoyed her makes potatoes and I my baked potato. Our sons got chicken entrees and liked them ok, though one was eyeing our prime rib. They have a good beer selection.
