    The rolls.

Maybe I don't get it? There is a lot of love for Texas Roadhouse and certainly, my brother and his family seem to go often. This was my first time and I wasn't impressed. We came in the late afternoon so were seated immediately. I hear that it gets very busy in the evenings with frequent waits for a table. Again - I don't get it. The much-lauded rolls and butter were really disappointing. I see endless reels about how amazing these are and I found the rolls dry and chewy and the cinnamon butter much too sweet and not a good pairing with the unappealing bread. They do offer an "early dine" menu that is a great deal, especially if you're feeding a family - a bunch of different entrees with sides are $12.99 from 3-5 pm Monday through Thursday. My mom had the BBQ chicken off this menu. It looked fine - nothing special. My brother ordered something called "Roadkill" and it truly looked like its namesake. Of course, he insists on getting his steak well done, but this dish looked deeply unappetizing. I had a cheeseburger and fries. For some inexplicable reason, they covered the fries in a layer of cheese. That definitely isn't something I asked for. Regardless, I found the fries inedible with or without the cheese. The burger was OK. The server seemed genuinely confused when I asked for it "medium rare" so I guess specifying a temp for burgers may not be a thing there. To be clear, I'm not one of those "big city snobs" who hates chain restaurants. I actually really enjoy them. But this was not a good meal and I truly fail to see what the hype is about.

Good experience at the bar solo. No issues with working me in at a busy bar with a few seats available on a pretty full dining room. Friendly and attentive bartender got me a tap beer and water. Ordered a ribeye, loaded sweet potato and veggies. Order came out within 25 minutes correct. Steak cooked properly. Received a late check by the bartender but had no problems. I would return.

The rolls are my all time favorite. Literally would just go here for that only! The food is always so good and so is the service. I love that they're running a Mother's Day special. But I hate the Mac and cheese.

    Vibes!! Featuring rolls!

Texas Roadhouse is a family favorite and today's experience definitely held the standard. I ordered the appetizer combo with boneless wings, twisted mozzarella and potato skins. My server was excellent and kept my Diet Coke fresh, which is appreciated. One thing to note is Texas Roadhouse is never quiet. So if that is the vibe you are going for, choose elsewhere. If you don't mind noise, which I don't mind, you will be in good company.

Decent food and decent service. Can't say it's the best Texas Roadhouse I've been to but I'd go back again. Most restaurant interiors are identical so it felt like returning home! All I needed was more peanuts on the floor...

Everyone having a great time,! Servers moving quick, food, coming out fast, everybody happy! One of my favorite places!

Food is GREAT! Was really happy with the special; 12 oz sirloin with 2 sides for $12.99 from 3pm-5pm, dine-in or carry out. Food was perfect, seated quickly, & service was incredible. Especially considering I had my elderly mother there with and they treated her so sweetly (she was a bit over emotional from some stuff going on with a friend.) So, grateful for the extra kindness. Turned her frown right upside down. Great food, great value, great service... WILL BE BACK!

Food was excellent. I ordered the kids BBQ ribs with a side. Our service was excellent. The place is a bit loud but it was busy so expected.

Service and food is always great at this location. Melinda is a gem, as are the rest of the wait staff. The manager walks around to each table making sure everything is good, which is a rairity these days. The food is always good and the steaks are always cooked to our liking. We like the Roadhouse feel and the music is always good.

I'll definitely get this again in the future. My dad got the steak and asparagus with a side of mashed potatoes. He loves gravy on his potatoes, and they don't offer that as an option on the menu. The server offered their sauce that usually comes on the hamburger steak dish and he loved it. He said his asparagus was plentiful and perfect texture. His ribeye was perfectly cooked as well. Our wait time was about 35 min to be seated. It took about 30 min to get our food but we found out that one of their staff had a medical event and they were trying to also handle that in the kitchen/back. It was a high volume time of day for them so I expected a little bit of a wait anyway. It was a little chaotic and noisy but they handled it well. Our server was a super sweet young lady and probably the best server I've had at this Longhorn. She, unlike others, seemed genuinely happy and cared to do a good job.

It is located in a Kroger strip mall area but is slightly higher class than what one might think when they hear that. It was a weird off-peak time so it was no issue getting seated right away and service was pretty good. We started our late lunch and our vacation with a cocktail, both of which were pretty tasty! I wanted to make sure I got some veggies in me before a week+ of vacation eating, so I got a side salad, which was pretty ample for a side! I also got the mushroom ricotta dip appetizer as a "meal" and it was pretty delicious! Cheese, mushrooms and carbs...you can't go wrong with that in my opinion! We had an okay time, and we were able to dawdle and not be rushed. It wasn't our first choice on the day and likely wouldn't be at another time, but it was more than decent as a secondary/back-up choice for a place to eat.

While traveling in northern Kentucky, he stumbled upon one of these places, The Farmstand Market & Cafe. Farmstand offers comfort food with a farm-to-table focus served in a cozy space with a bar and attached market. We started with the Goetta Hanky Panky Dip. This was made with cheesy goetta, bagel chips, pumpernickel bread, and light rye served in a cast iron skillet. The dip had a good sausage flavor with salt and some light spice while being cheesy, creamy, and full of flavor. The bagel chips were very crispy but were not served warm. The pumpernickel and rye were dry. Each complimented the dip, adding texture to the bite. My wife had the Reuben Sandwich. This sandwich came with sliced corned beef, homemade Thousand Island, pickled pig sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese on light rye with bacon ranch pasta salad. The pasta salad was cooked spot on while also being creamy. The bacon added crunch and saltiness to the salad. The rye had a great toast, and the Thousand Island was tangy and creamy. The pastrami was dry but had a good salty flavor. The sauerkraut was crunchy and had a good sour flavor cutting through the salty meat and the sweet dressing. The cheese was gooey and nutty and added flavor to each bite. I sampled the French dip sandwich and Mulligatawny soup. This was prepared with a sliced top round with provolone on a French roll. The soup was prepared with rice, chicken, carrots, onions, celery, lentils and spices. The chicken was very tender, the rice was cooked well, and the vegetables added texture to the rice. The soup was flavorful, had a wonderful aroma, and had a good salt content. The top round was thin and offered good flavor and chew. The roll was fresh and had a good chew paired with the ooey and gooey cheese with an excellent buttery flavor. The au jus had good flavor but was slightly salty, which overpowered it. Farmstand offers grilled cheeses, hot sandwiches, burgers, salads, appetizers, soups and main entrees. They also serve beer and have a full bar. The servers were pleasant and knowledgeable.
