Since I am still in the mood for a good steak and just read theater this place has good ribeyes I decided to try it. I arrived about 15 minutes after they opened and there were many people already seated and eating. As i was being seated the hostess brought along a basket of the warm great rolls. Good way to start. And the server, Faith, was right there to get my drink order and gave her my dinner order as well. One of the managers was coming around to make sure everyone was being taken care of to their satisfaction. Faith brought my salad out quickly which I appreciated. My meal was brought out just before I had finished my salad. One of the things that happens when you come in early. I tried the 6-ounce Ribeye and i will be back soon for a larger cut. The baked Sweet potato was done perfectly. I also noticed that three tables around me turned over within the first hour they were open. To me it means the service is very good.. and that the patrons enjoy coming in early for whatever reason. The only downside was the background music was too loud. read more

This one was great and the staff was able to see us pretty quickly, though we did have the advantage of coming on a very bad weather day so the wait wasn't too bad. Joining the waitlist on their website helps a lot in terms of timely seating! I got my usual, salmon with a baked potato and Caesar salad salad. The salmon was cooked properly, and I was also happy with my baked potato. The salad had some old lettuce in it, which was a little icky, but it wasn't so bad that I sent it back. One thing that I didn't love is that the bench we were seated at was very uneven. Think old timey church pew where the wood boards didn't quite align. Handling a quality check on the seating and making sure the salad is fresh going forward, would put this experience at a five star in my book. For the price, you can't beat it! read more

Food was ready in a timely fashion and we received our entire order but were missing some cheese and bacon for our "loaded" potatoes... we get takeout a lot and have come to terms with not always getting all the things... but when we are charged for the items, it's mildly annoying. The rolls and cinnamon butter are the best! I ordered my filet medium and it was rare. It was cold and red - luckily we were at home and I just threw it in a pan. I *never* send food back, but had we dined-in, my steak would have been returned to the kitchen - I found it inedible (med-rare would have been fine but this was so chewy and cold RaRe)! Toddler does *not* approve of watery Mac and cheese, but the mini cheeseburgers were a hit! Hubby reports green beans to be good and his ribeye was "fine." Hubby and I went here for dinner and I'm so glad we did. We both ordered ribeyes with sides, Our steaks were cooked to perfection! Our server, Sydnee, was a sweetheart and checked on us several times. They were out of 2 of the options that we wanted along with a desert, however, the manager came to our table and resolved the issue. He was very apologetic and kind. We appreciated this very much! Texas Roadhouse still has it! The food is always consistent, even when I'm in other states. I've ventured out from the ribs and now my go to is the herb crusted chicken. I've gone even further by adding green peppers, onions, and mushrooms on top of it. Yummmmy!! The service is always welcoming and fun with the youthful staff. I love their loaded baked potatoes and house salad. My coworker put me on to the "red chili, no beans" and I need a bowl of it, but they don't sell it that way. Well, they do call it a bowl, but it's not an actual bowl--iykyk-- The ambiance is fun because about every 30 minutes, the music gets cranked up, and the staff come out and line-dance. We had a great experience here tonight. They are really busy and the wait can be long. I recently learned that they accept call ahead seating as well as online seating. I will do that next time. The food is incredible salty but good. I love that they allow anyone to order from the kids menu. Unfortunately, tonight's visit will be our last at this Texas Roadhouse location. Our experience started off well enough. Our waitress took our drink order promptly and brought the drinks out quickly. However, things steadily declined after that. She took our food order and told us she would bring us some rolls, but they never arrived. Two members of our party ordered side salads--one with ranch dressing and one with Italian dressing. When the salads were delivered, she essentially dropped them on the table and left immediately. Both salads had ranch dressing, and before I could point out that mine was supposed to have Italian dressing, she was already gone. We then waited nearly 10 minutes without seeing her again. Eventually, my daughter went to find a manager. After speaking with him, he promptly brought us the rolls and the correct Italian dressing. Unfortunately, our waitress remained absent until it was time to deliver our entrées. When the food arrived, my filet was cooked medium instead of the medium-rare temperature I requested. The rolls were overbaked, and by that point the overall dining experience had become disappointing. This location used to be one of our favorites, but the quality of both the service and overall experience has noticeably declined during our last several visits. Because of that, we'll be taking our business to the Burlington or High Point locations in the future, where we hope to receive the level of service we've come to expect from Texas Roadhouse. read more

This Texas Roadhouse location is consistently good. I love the fresh rolls and butter. I honestly could go just for those. My go to dish is the grilled shrimp and I typically get the green beans with it, then mix up my other side. The shrimp are great! They have a nice seasoning on them and are always cooked nicely. I'm picky about shrimp and don't think everywhere cooks them right, but these are pretty good every time. The green beans are packed with flavor. They have bacon and onions in them so I think that takes it up a notch. The service is usually good but you may have to wait a little bit to be seated. I'd suggest joining the waitlist online to avoid the wait. For a chain restaurant, this place is pretty solid. I do want to note that the last time I went that the restaurant was not very clean. The bathroom area was disgusting. There was wet toilet paper outside of the bathroom door and inside the floor was covered with trash and looked super dirty. read more

Surprisingly, despite there being 16 of us, the service and accommodation on a Friday night was impressive! Our server Deisy was superb. Managed the section with accuracy and quickness. Ambiance is typical steakhouse, I won't read much into it. No complaints except their bathroom is small as heck. I ordered a 16oz strip which was new. Prior to this they only had 12oz or 14oz. Came with a free smother so I got jack cheese and sautéed onions and it was one of the better steaks I've ordered a la carte in awhile. (Firebirds) still has my top spot. Got the double rice and it was the perfect accompaniment! Steak 4.5/5 Rice 12/5 Table ordered the not blooming onion onion and it was good this time. Had some bad ones where the onion was pitiful or the breading was too greasy. 4/5 The cheese fries were excellent because it was actually covered in cheese. They didn't skimp. 5/5 The steakhouse burger looked amazing. I didn't try it but man, that's how a Burger should look! Overall the food looked amazing, and can actually say I walked out satisfied with my bill (which is rare). Only complaint, our buddy returned a steak that was medium well. It took them over 35 minutes to get it back. Both tables finished eating and paid before manager came out with it. They were nice enough to take it off the bill but, whew... Upon entering, you emerge into a traditional American restaurant, full of decorations, but gradually you notice some differences: a tablet menu on the table where you can also pay the bill, a children's kit for children to draw and paint on the table. The service was good, what I thought was cool is that from time to time there are country presentations by some waitresses. Now the food is the highlight: both the biscuits as a starter, the fried onions (in my opinion, even better than the ones at Outback) and the ribs that are so succulent they melt in their mouths. I never would've thought the day I would write a negative review for a Texas Roadhouse, but today happens to be that day for this location in Greensboro. My visit was on November 24th. I had sat up at the bar with my husband since he had a free 6oz from Veterans Day. I got myself a 16oz Angry Orchard since I saw on the menu $5 beer. It was only us and an older couple at first, but communication was sacred when it came to explaining specials and what they had going on (which it wasn't really busy for a Texas Roadhouse). I ordered a Cactus Blossom, which half of it was not edible at all. We had ordered a 6oz sirloin and a 8oz sirloin with two Caesar salads and a baked potato and a sweet potato. The Caesar salads tasted like straight mayonnaise, which killed my mood a bit. The steaks came out and looked extremely small to where my husband told me he's gonna have to start bringing a scale because there's no way that's 6oz. I will not be coming back to this Texas Roadhouse until I know for a fact things have improved at this location. read more

I think the food is fine if you stick with good cuts of steak, the cheaper cuts you could do better at home for a lot less monies. Service is another story. I wanted to buy some gift cards for my cousins who really love the place. I was told to go to the bar to buy them. Bartender was nowhere to be found, after waiting for 10m, I asked a couple dining there if there was in fact a bartender, and they said they hadn't seen one since placing their order some time prior. Son's birthday dinner of choice was Texas Roadhouse. He had a blast, but if he's anything like his parents as he grows, he'll soon get that foodie palate and realize this place is not the best. You go in expecting a decent meal, average steak at mid-high prices. That's what you'd expect when you think of Texas Roadhouse in general. And that's how I would rate them, if they actually had decent food. We were a party of 8, all different steaks, chicken and salads. My steak was well done and black on the outside when asked for it to be medium-rare. Another was luke warm with a red center when asked for medium. Chicken salad was bland and seemed like it was sitting for a bit before making its way to the table. The cactus blossom (fried onions) was soggy. Honestly, the best thing on the menu is their famous hot and fresh bread rolls with cinnamon honey butter. Should have stopped there. Two reasons I'm not giving a 1 star here, which the food alone wholeheartedly deserves. First, we were there on a Sunday late afternoon before 4pm. The place was still packed to the brim even though it was well past lunch and a bit before the dinner rush. Our server was unbelievably patient, friendly and super attentive given the craziness of the place. Handling a table full of kids while dashing in and out around the other tables and patrons was to be commended. Secondly, and most importantly, our son had a blast. He enjoyed the meal, loved the bright blue artificially sweet drink he got and enjoyed the loud and party style atmosphere around us. It would be a crime to give this place a 1 or 2 star seeing the big smile on my son's face. If you're looking for a good meal in a private and calm setting, do not come here. Have a rowdy bunch of kids who enjoy bbq, chicken or steak (but don't know quite yet what a really good steak should taste like), then come here. We came here as a party of 2 on a Saturday. Before leaving the house, make sure you get on the waitlist. I first tried the website and then when I tried to call to get on the waitlist, then realized I needed to join the waitlist via the Yelp app. This place was crazy crowded and with that, we ended up waiting almost 40 minutes for our food. Our waiter was sweet, no complaints there. I ordered the bacon cheese burger with fries and ranch. I would say it was an average meal and I did really enjoy their ranch which I can be picky about. My husband ordered the sirloin with green beans and loaded mashed potatoes. He enjoyed it. I was impressed with the $5 L.I.T. and would order again. I was disappointed in the food at Texas Roadhouse today. My husband and I used to frequent this restaurant in the past until we moved near Burlington. We were in Greensboro today and decided to stop for dinner. Our waitress was nice but service was a bit slow. We ordered the cheese fries with chili and Jalepenos on the side. Only half of the fries had cheese on them, and they were not hot. The Jalepeno slices were sliced too thick. The salad and bread were delicious. For my entree, I ordered the 8oz sirloin, medium, with a sweet potato with caramel sauce and marshmallows. My steak was well done, and there was no caramel sauce on the sweet potato. I don't know what has happened to the restaurant but it is not the same as it used to be. I guess we'll stick with the one in Burlington. read more

My bandaid on my finger fell off while I was washing my hands in the restroom, and she grabbed me 2 bandaids to replace it even though she was extremely busy with other tables! I visited here 9:28 PM on a Saturday evening to get some dinner with a friend. Ultimately I chose this place because they have calories listed bother, menu items where most places do not, unfortunately. Since I'm being mindful of my calories, it was important for me to eat somewhere so I can choose my food wisely. We were promptly seated in a booth by the bar. There was no wait. On one side of the booth, there was water on the seat. I didn't want to get my pants wet, so I stood and waited. I ended having to stop someone and ask for napkins to clean it myself. I then noticed that the floor of the booth had some trash on it. At 9:31pm, a waiter stated that he would be right back with us. At 9:33, he came back. Our waiter was named Larry. He took our drink orders. I got a water to start. My friend got a hurricane margarita with a patron kicker. Larry came back for order at 9:43pm. I got the grilled pork chop (w/o sauce) with green beans and mashed potatoes (650 cal) My friend got the 6oz sirloin with rice and green beans. Waiter stated that they were still working on his drink. My friend's drink arrived at 9:46pm. The Food came at 10pm. I enjoyed my food. At first, I thought my pork chop was undercooked, but I ate it and it was fine. I didn't specify how I wanted it to be cooked anyway. At 10:10pm, I ordered a Jamaican cowboy (240 cal) with an 1800 kicker (60 cal). My friend ordered an angry orchard. My friend didn't like his hurricane and ordered an angry orchard. Larry said he couldn't bring another drink until he finished the one had. Larry was notified that the drink was disliked and he took it. These drinks arrived to us fairly quickly. When the bill came, there was a charge for the dislikes drink. Larry stated that all sales were final and couldn't be taken off. A manager was requested who came over fairly quickly. The manager confirmed that all alcohol sales were final. Fortunately, the drink was removed but it was only because the waiter didn't inform us that all sales were final before removing the unfinished drink from the table. I think the managers name was Jonathan. Honesty, I found that to be very odd because when I was at a Texas Roadhouse about 2 months, I ordered a drink, disliked it and got a new one without being charged for the original one and without having to talk to a manger. Maybe it's a new rule? I'm unsure. Bedside the hiccup with the drink, the rest of the visit was fairly pleasant. All the food was great and enjoyable. I had mixed feelings about my visit here, but my friend I both agreed we would return even after experiencing some hiccups in our service. When you walk in, they have numbers on the floor where your party should stand while you wait for your waitress. This is the first time I had ever experienced that so I was very confused when the hostess said stand at the number 1. She had to point to the floor before we understood what she was talking about. We didn't stand there long before a waitress guided us to our table. We had to walk towards the back. It was around 2pm and this place was really packed. Our cool server Aidén quickly came to our table to take our drink order. He delivered our drinks and took our food order fairly quickly. The raspberry lemonade is delicious. Almost too delicious...I could have drank 3 glasses of the stuff. I had two...lol Now, this is where the visit took a turn. We ordered a to go order along with our main order. The to go order came about 20 mins before our food arrived. My friend ordered a salad along with her salmon. The salad came 25 mins before her main dish. Her salmon was undercooked and had to go back. The kids sliders is a really big meal for a kid under 10 (no complaints...just be aware). My daughter's chicken critters looked really good (sorry no pics). She doesn't like sauce and we asked for just ketchup. It came with ranch and unfortunately the thickest ranch spilled over two of the tenders, which she refused to touch. My burger was delicious and cooked exactly like how I liked it. The steak fries are dynamite. Slather some ketchup on those bad boys and you will be in heaven. Our server Aiden was a real joy. He is really good at this job. He was very apologetic for the mistakes and made sure he made everything right. We waited a long time for our food, but hey everyone in Greensboro was in this restaurant. It was at capacity and we totally understood. Just don't come to this place hangry. Now I know what to expect, I can plan my next visit accordingly. I've been a regular customer at Texas Roadhouse for years, but my recent visit was deeply disappointing and frustrating. We were quoted a 45-minute wait time, but ended up waiting over an hour and a half in the car. When we finally went inside, we were still made to wait an additional 15 minutes before being seated. Once seated, we were told there were no rolls available -- a signature part of the Texas Roadhouse experience. It took another 30 minutes before any rolls were brought to the table. To make matters worse, our waitress seemed unfamiliar with the menu and was unable to answer basic questions about the items. The steak was suppose to be well done, and was brought out brunt on the outside and pink on the inside. I eventually requested to speak with a manager regarding an issue with the apple butter, only to be told I would need to purchase an entire can just to get some -- which made no sense for a dine-in order. The manager's tone was unprofessional and dismissive, coming off as snappy and unnecessarily sassy. Texas Roadhouse used to be a favorite of mine, but the quality of service has clearly declined. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and works to improve both wait time communication and customer service training. read more

Texas Roadhouse on Battleground Avenue: After taking a long break from dining at Texas Roadhouse, we decided to give it another shot , unfortunately, it ended in disappointment. To start with the positive, our server was fantastic, attentive, friendly, and clearly trying her best to provide a great experience. She was the highlight of the night. We ordered three meals, including a filet and a ribeye, both requested to be cooked medium. When they arrived, the filet was rare and the ribeye was well-done. Even our server was surprised and immediately took both back to the kitchen. While waiting, Manager Larry stopped by, or more accurately, did what I call a "drive-by." He walked past our table, we explained the issue, and his response was simply: "Oh... okay" then he kept walking. No apology, no ownership, no real concern. It was unbelievable. When the steaks returned (Larry brought one), the filet was now well-done --again, not medium. He admitted it was still wrong and offered to try again or take it off the bill. We declined a third attempt because by then, our meals were completely out of sync. The ribeye came back undercooked -- now medium-rare instead of medium. My husband chose to eat it just so we could be done. To top it off, we were only given a $10 discount. For two incorrectly cooked steaks, one completely inedible, and a totally disrupted meal, that response felt lazy and dismissive. This location seems to lack basic training in steak preparation, customer service, and management accountability. The entire situation was mishandled, and unfortunately, it reflects a larger issue with many restaurants today, a lack of care, leadership, and professionalism. We won't be returning. read more

Last night my wife and I ate at this location. The service was so so. The food was terrible. My wife's plate was filthy on the edges of the bowl/plate as well as the underside. It seemed that the mashed potatoes she ordered were just a baked potato the was mashed in the bowl. I had a flat iron steak that was cooked unevenly and the rice looked worse the the Knorr rice I can cook at home. My son also ate there with his girlfriend. The server didn't check on them for drink refills or anything else. The burger that was ordered was over cooked and burnt. The steak he ordered was overcooked and his macaroni and cheese was worse than store brand boxed. Absolutely terrible experience. I'll take my money somewhere else from now on. read more
