Can't cook a rare steak to save their lives. Had to reorder the porterhouse again because the first two were well, even our waitress could tell. Then the chef thought he'd be funny by not grilling one side of both of the second ones. 110 degrees Fahrenheit is a rare steak you guys, not crispy on one side and blue on the other. Truly disappointing. They comped the steaks and sides so we paid $25 for drinks, bread and a blooming onion. Still tipped the waitress well, the only redeeming part of the experience. Loud and noisy, which is standard for a TRH but I guess we weren't drunk enough to choke down the steaks. They owe that cow an apology. read more

I knew better than to give another attempt on going back. Service is standard, actually feel that you are rushed to fast order. Food average except a 16 oz Rib Eye is under cut about 10 oz before cooking ( there answer is it 16 oz before cooking) steak was less than a 1/4 inch thick, steak ordered medium rare and served well done zero red color, obviously steak was severely pressed during cooking and served well done and zero moisture, dry. Sides are standard except salad is great. This is second time in ordering Rib Eye the other was two years ago and nothing changed, my wisdom that I ignored was the cause of this issue. Sometimes a known quantity is really good. Stopped by the Roadhouse as I had a free meal coupon. Chicken Fried Sirloin with the white gravy was really good. Pair that with some fries and green beans and you have a nice comfort meal. Did not disappoint. Place was crowded for a Thursday Night but service was great and timely. Been a while since I've been to Texas Roadhouse but it's a good time, every time! If you go at an off-time there's usually no issue with snagging a table but if you plan on going during prime dinner time definitely get on the waitlist online or on the app. This last visit I got on the waitlist with a 20-30min ETA on a Saturday early evening. After joining the waitlist it was about an additional 15-20 min after the estimated 30min wait. My go-to order is always the 12oz Ribeye with the house salad with ranch, and steak fries. While the steak is often a little on the charred side, the inside is always cooked exactly as ordered and seasoned just right. I love that all the steaks come with two sides and that almost all of them can be customized in some way (ex. salad dressings, potato toppings). While I've never ordered it this way, you can also add onions and/or mushrooms to your steak as well. Last but not least, my favorite reason to come to Texas Roadhouse is the rolls with the cinnamon honey butter. You can always ask for another basket and they come out warm and soft every time! I know everyone says not to fill up on bread before your food comes but I love eating the rolls, an appetizer like a blooming onion, and my salad and taking my steak home for the next day! Great food and service! They were quite busy for a Monday but we didn't have to wait long to get a table. Of course they sat us down with a basket of warm rolls with their infamous honey cinnamon butter and kept them coming which was great because we were really hungry since we hasn't eaten all day. We got there while their early bird specials were going on so we took advantage of the $13 meals. Delicious and everything came just as ordered. Generous size portions. Wow lemme tell ya 12/10 for everything here! Service is amazing, food is always incredible - honestly I can order anything on the menu and I am always impressed. Although my tip is to order the filet medallions and sub the rice and you get any 3 sides, all of which are so good! I want to say that Tj, Frankie, Jenn & Alexa were all AMAZING! I appreciate great customer service more than anything and you can see that they all take their job seriously and provide an amazing service, not only to us but to everyone else dining there. My wife and I dined out Friday night during the rush zone. We waited on the waitlist 15 minutes beyond the 45 minute estimate time. My wife's chicken fried chicken was marvelous. Our House Salads were great as well. I recommend the blue cheese and crumbles. My Ft Worth ribeye was cooked correctly but was a tough cut of meat. Only a little more than half was edible. I came here with grandma and grandpa as they wanted to come here so I tagged along! I had never been here before. The inside was an older style with lots of wood, old style pictures, and hanging decorations! Very old timey! We were welcomed in real quickly and shown our table! The hostess and server were really nice. After we sat down we were offered drinks pretty quick. The server took our appetizer order and that was out pretty quick as well. A little time went by, and the table wasn't getting pre-bussed during the meal. All the appetizer plates and bread baskets were left behind. I thought that was odd, but I didn't have the energy to call the server over so I just moved everything to the side of the table. The food took a while. The server did come over to apologize. The meat was undercooked, there was a hair on the side of the plate we noticed after it was served, the side dishes came out a few minutes after the steak and almost at room temperature. The macaroni and cheese was dry and the cheese was so dry on the loaded fries we had to use a knife to cut through. We were at our table of total of about 40 minutes, and I only had time for a few bites of food before I had to go back to work. read more

Well, what was funny was I was thinking that we've been in Nevada for 22 years, and I was wondering if I had given a review for the Texas roadhouse before? So evidently I have before I was an elite member and that was eating here over 10 years ago. I gave a four star review then when the ribeye that I ate, then was the same that I ate tonight. I was so disappointed, do you think a steakhouse can cook a steak those steaks they show in their meat area when you first walk in waiting for a table? My steak was a quarter of what that steak was I swear they took the 12 ounce ribeye out of that counter cut it into three slices so they could get three steaks out of one, and I'm not joking. I'm a mistake connoisseur and I was shocked at how thin my ribeye was, I ordered it medium rare, it was Medium well done because it was such a thin piece of meat. I was really pissed off. The steakhouse that can't cook a steak is ridiculous. How they are packed so much and they were out the door when we left at 7 PM, I'm thinking why are you guys here? The steak is awful. My husband ordered the filet mignon with green peppercorn sauce and rice which it was supposed to be served over rice, but he asked for it to be served over mashed potatoes. He got a nasty looking bowl of mashed potatoes on the side in a dish, where the meat was not on top of it and I looked at the dish when he got it and I said wow that doesn't look so good, and he says wait a minute look at the menu sure enough they didn't give him the peppercorn sauce, and that was an afterthought. The plates were not presentable at all maybe I watched too much Food Network but the plates were very dirty. They look horrible. My steak was awful. The baked potato was just ridiculous and the only thing that was good was the blooming onion and my salad. To me when you go to a steakhouse that it's in their name, I don't care how busy you are, you work, your butt off in the kitchen, and you hire more staff to help out your employees, don't overwork them because it showed in the food tonight. My ribeye was so mealie and overcooked, so that was so disappointing. I didn't say anything because we had our friends out with us, and I didn't want to send my steak back. We just got the sauce for my husband. The presentation on our plate was just the worst. Didn't look like there was anybody at the other end of the Cook line that was looking at the order saying what does this need? Does this need sauce? Do these need vegetables? Does this need a starter? What does this need it wasn't anybody like that, but then again I watched too much Food Network but I was surprised at how there wasn't Someone spearheading the orders as they were going out to check to make sure they were OK. I'm done with this place. Second time in 10 years, in Texas roadhouse can't get a ribeye right don't advertise those when you walk in in the meat bin right in the door showing your steaks because next time I'll take a picture and want to get that steak oh wait there won't be a next time we were very disappointed in our meals. Oh yeah, our server I forgot what her name was, we barely saw her. We had to get other servers on their way by to get a certain items at least four times, I think yeah I know they're super busy and I didn't even ask for an alcohol drink because I didn't think I'd get one fast enough, I had lemonade instead, and no water no nothing we had to ask for silverware. I had to ask for snack plates, it is the service wasn't even great at all. I'm disappointed but live and learn twice in 10 years. I got this. The food makes up for the wait and chaos to get your foot in the door. I had no idea what to expect, but it is loud and BUSY and they have a very large array of well-priced options. Fresh rolls as your seated is a big plus. Nick was the best waiter ever: very welcoming, helpful and accommodating. There were quite a few families filing in even after 8:30PM on a Friday night, so you know the food stays fresh, as its rolling out constantly. My husband and I shared which was plenty of food, but the food was so delicious. It makes you wanna have your own. the line is out the door so we decided to sit at the bar, which is probably the best seat in the house. Frank right was our bartender/server and Melinda was bartender. Let's not forget. The margarita was amazing. Both Melinda And Frank amazing. I have to say hands-down that Frank is one of the best bartenders with the best personality and attentiveness that I have experienced in a long time. I highly recommend going to Texas roadhouse. This place was super popular. Since there was a winter storm recently, they were out of some menu items, but not out of steaks which is what I wanted. The wait to be seated was about 20 minutes. The lobby wasn't that huge, so they recommended that we wait in the car or outside. Outside was very cold, so we just went browsing at Kohl's across the parking lot to kill time until they texted us. Upon being seated, this place was super packed. The service was as expedient as it could be given that it was just busy. They did a good job with accommodating the amount of people. Oscar is an absolute superstar and Azshleigh was a good server too, and despite their efforts to make it all work out, tonight's experience left a bunch to be desired. Party of 9 (4 adults, 4 kids and a toddler) arrived early to get on the waitlist and given a wait time of 30-45 minutes. No problem! We were seated around 5:15 but split into two tables, and not only that, we had two servers! Had we been two groups of adults this wouldn't have been a big deal, but four kids under the age of 7 made this a challenge. Oscar handled the kids and Azshleigh the adults. They were both very present originally, but after orders were placed, Oscar was the one around when something was needed more often than not. Oscar handled the kids beautifully, engaging with them and making sure their needs were met. He went above and beyond for all of us and truly made this experience much better than it could have been. Ashleigh was in and out of the picture. I originally thought she was training Oscar based on the way she started us off, but he was def independent. We only saw her a few times during the meal, while Oscar was ever present in the most appropriate way. Onto the food and kitchen, which was the weakest part of the night. We had a coupon for a free cactus blossom and another for a free order of cheese fries, both of which were applicable due to the two table situation. Both were placed when we sat, but the cactus blossom never came. We asked the servers two or three times about it, and though they checked, nothing happened. Eventually it came in a to go box and the manager said we could keep our coupon, but we won't have a chance to use it before it expires. For dinner we ordered the 8 Oz sirloin and ribs combo. I have had this a few times and it's usually a great value. Tonight the sirloin was incredibly tough. I kept changing the way I was cutting it to see if it was me, but every bite was chewier than the one before. I usually love the ribs here, but these ribs arrived barely lukewarm and tasted like they'd been smoked over wood on fire. It had that acrid, bitter flavor that typically comes from this type of scenario. Beyond that the meat was mushy and kinda dry too, so I sent it back. They brought me another order and it was hot but had the same texture as before and this time was over-charred. The kids were losing their patience so we ate them, but they were not very good. Five stars for Oscar, 4 for Azshleigh, and 3 or less for the food tonight. read more
