Ft Worth 14 oz ribeye with a baked potato.
    Bob S.

Felt like a steak for dinner so I headed to Texas Roadhouse. The line was long but likely I was going solo and I was able to get a seat at the bar. The restaurant and bar area are very load. The bartender was friendly and immediately took my order. I ordered the Ft Worth 14oz ribeye with a garden salad and a baked potato. The garden salad arrived quickly, was medium in size and was your typical salad. The steak and potato arrived right after I finished my salad. I ordered the steak medium rare but it was medium. The steak was a good size, seasoned, flavorful and quite juicy. The potato was an average size with sour cream, bacon and cheddar cheese. It seemed a little dry and not flaky. Overall the experience was good and I will return by myself but not with a group.

We enjoy the fall off the bone ribs at this BBQ joint. Sometimes they can be a bit dry but slathering on some extra sauce does the trick. I prefer this than ribs that you have to gnaw on to get off the meat. The wait can be long at times but they offer complimentary peanuts in the shell while you wait. When you get seated they give you warm soft rolls with honey butter. So yummy and addicting. The vibe here is always positive and lively. Often you'll hear an announcement for someone celebrating their birthday where the staff chant out a birthday wish and present them with a complimentary scoop of ice cream with chocolate drizzle.

Our June 24 2026 visit was amazing, with a combination of delicious ribs and chicken, with awesome hospitality from Haylie B. and the entire staff. This team was SO good! The Cactus Blossom is a MUST, and the Legend Margaritas were excellent. Peanuts are no longer strewn on the floor like in the "old days", but rather in a nice metal bucket on each table- nice touch! All in all, a very invigorating, positive experience, and we WILL be back!

We had never been to a Texas Roadhouse before and had heard many things about the rolls - so off we went. Service was incredibly friendly and fast. We started with the rolls of course and then got a cactus bloom for an appetizer. Very greasy but tasty! Entrees were mid but came out fast and with friendly service. Not our sort of place but definitely worth going for the tasty rolls :-) that cinnamon butter is divine! Ambiance is loud and crazy but to be expected. Lots of birthdays being celebrated while we were there - lots of yee haw!

The restaurant was clean and orderly. Our server, Lauren, was very personable and attentive. She kept our beverages filled. I had the Early-Dine steak dinner. The steak was so tender and had a great flavor. The loaded sweet potato was delicious. The Ceasar salad was served in an ice cold chilled bowl. It was tasty but they had run out of croutons. This is one of our favorite restaurants. It's a great place for locals.

My son loved his kids meal and the fresh bread. I love their the salad with Italian dressing and their shrimp appetizer is pretty good. The wait is a pain, but no other complaints.

Texas Roadhouse is the McDonald's of steakhouses. It's consistent and it's decent. I don't go out of my way to get here and it's always crowded but it does hit the spot If i had a complaint it would be the minuscule size of their old fashioned.s. It's basically an $8 shot of bourbon. But the food is good and portions are big.

My wife and I took the kids to get an early dinner after we picked them up from school. Since we're on spring break, we don't get to go out often. And we decided to take advantage of an early dinner. This place was packed at 4 o'clock, and then I realized they open at 3 PM. We ordered the kids mac & cheese with different sides like corn, applesauce or fries. My wife and I got a happy hour esque meal of a 6 ounce steak with two sides. And I know everyone already knows about the bread, it was delicious and unlimited. This review is not really about the food or the prices. This review is for a server named Reese. This guy went out of his way to make sure that my kids were happy and he was happy the entire time. Super genuine, we had made a comment about being teachers, and I felt like he went out of his way to make sure we had the best time possible. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and our experience and will definitely be back because of this great server.

We were tired. We were still on alert for possible evacuation due to Hawk fire. So, we decided on an early to-go dinner from Texas Roadhouse. Mistake. Ordered two, 8-oz salmon dinners, one country vegetable dinner, and one cheesecake. The salmon was thin and dry. The baked potato wasn't thoroughly cooked. The "steamed" vegetables appeared to be steamed by quickly running under hot tap water. And, the two house salads that were ordered without croutons must have been prepared with croutons, someone noticed the mistake and removed, but left half hiding under the salad. Not the meal I was expecting but should have from my last take-out meal. Do better on the take out, Texas Roadhouse.

Wait is always too long and service is spotty. My steak are always cooked to my liking but the service could be better. The server forgot my mushrooms. It's always a bit too loud for my liking.

You know, I could try anyplace for steak. But why stray from perfection? Any town I'm in, I know I'll get a great meal consistently at a Texas Roadhouse. I like steak, they deliver a delicious filet every single time. They are quick with friendly service. I always feel welcome. Sure the ambiance is about as western as you can get and I always feel a bit out of place in my polo shirt and cargo pants work clothes - especially my flat cap. But staff treats me like I belong and I appreciate that. No dessert, wasn't super hungry. Great meal, great price and the wine was good

I remember when this Texas Roadhouse location opened. My family often went. However, since moving away from South Reno, I hadn't visited in years. Glad we stopped in! My family visited during Thanksgiving week for a very early dinner, 3 PM is when they open on weekdays. It was packed! Luckily, there was still no wait for a table, and we were seated and greeted right away. Texas Roadhouse knows how to keep its customers happy. Free bread and butter and a bag of complimentary peanuts at every table. Who can be mad about that? One perk of having the earliest dinner ever is that the roadhouse offers an early bird menu where many classic menu items are on discount. We ordered a kids' burger meal, the fried pickles, and two 6-oz. sirloin meals. The whole bill was only $50! The portions, like the restaurant, are huge! My house salad was almost big enough to be a dinner salad, and the fried pickles were plentiful and super crispy. Perfectly battered and served with awesome house-made ranch. The kids' burgers were a perfect portion for two light eaters to share. It's a small beef patty with cheese served on one of their freshly baked rolls, but you get two of them and a side of fries. Yum! The steaks were tender, but they were probably under 6oz. The weight is likely a pre-cooked weight. The sides were good, but nothing out of this world. The restaurant embodies what Americans think Texas is to a tee. Country music, western decor, and wooden everything. My experience here was great! Thanks, Texas Roadhouse!

I went in big like a starving hostage and ordered a half rack of ribs, brisket, pulled pork, a Habanero Jalapeño Cheddar sausage link and a side of mac and F'n Cheese! My wife, she had the pulled chicken and a salad. First taste was the brisket, gotta go in for the brisket. The bark was so flavorful and there was the distinct smoke flavor. Unlike another place I've been to, this place was smoke forward and that's the vibe I like. Not bitter, but a good smoke. The pulled pork was out of this world and the ribs were just about perfect. Not fall off the bone but a great clean bite through. I know, I know everyone wants fall off the bone but hear me out, THAT'S JUST OVERCOOKED! Now let's talk about this sausage. Everything was amazing The ribs were succulent, and fall off the bone, tender, and the barbecue sauce was rich and tangy. The hot link had a good flavor, and had just enough of a "zip" to it, that got my attention. There was a good amount of pork in the beans, and I'm not sure what was in the sauce, but it was rich and delicious. The coleslaw was nicely, dressed with a little bit of pepper in it. The cornbread had just a little bit of a "sweet" to it, which I really like. It was also very tender. It didn't need any butter, or anything. This amazing meal, they only charged me 20 bucks. So I decided to give it a try. My husband and I were there for lunch. Upon walking into the store it is just so light and bright and open. My husband went with the bison, barbecue burger, and a side of fries, and I had the original burger with my choice of cheeses. Everything was prepared and served hot and fresh! We were offered ranch to go with our fries. I had a house made thousands island type sauce (but way better) to go on my cheeseburger. It was delicious. (Their Classic in my photo is probably their least impressive looking burger.) I ordered medium rare like always at a high-quality joint but I accidentally got someone's medium-well, and after tasting both, I actually preferred the the medium-well as the grind on the rare part of the medium-rare was a little mushier than I'm used to. Probably because most places you order a medium-rare you actually get a medium. Not here. I'd go medium on a return visit. I like they don't overseason the burger with too much salt like a lot of other places. Eaters with palates desensitized to salt due to a lot of fast food/burger eating may find the need to add salt to satisfy their salt craving. The burger sauce is also served on the side and is a bit milder, and more homemade tasting compared to your average burger sauces. This is great because the meat is so good you really don't want to overshadow it with salty seasoning and overpowering sauces. If you're going to dump a bunch of salt and sauce on it, just go to In-n-Out. They also have sandwiches, tenders and chili. If you think about it, a butcher shop deciding to serve cooked food is taking a risk. If the food isn't that great it can affect their meat business. The shop atmosphere is very upscale with high prices to match it like the rest of Rancharra Village. Very limited indoor bar dining and some tables outside. Not sure if the really high prices for the meats and seafoods in the case are worth it, but the saying "you get what you pay for" at least applies to the burgers here. My only suggestion is take a sharpie and scribble the cook temp (medium, medium-rare, etc) on the paper in the burger basket so groups don't get their burgers mixed up. They verbally pointed it out but it's easy to forget by the time you get back to your table with 3, 4, or 6 burgers. Fry basket is a great value, easily enough for 2 people and probably some of the best thick cut fries I've ever tasted with sort of a very light seasoned crispy panko outer texture to them. Updated Reno Burger Rankings primarily on quality/taste but also value is factored in but to a lesser degree: #1 Armandos #2 Royce #3 Beefy's tied with The Parlor #4 Archies Giant #5 Juicy's
