Went here for the soft opening week and they didn't disappoint! It's in the industrial area of south city and parking isn't bad. My sister and I got the Aloha shrimp & Tokyo chicken. The meals were well balanced and not too heavy. I wish the Tokyo chicken had more teriyaki sauce since I usually like it saucy but it was still delicious. My sister enjoyed her Aloha shrimp too. The shrimp isn't peeled so be prepared to eat it shell-on or peel yourself. We personally love a shell-on shrimp (that's where all the flavor is!!) Great portions and the employees were receptive to feedback. They are still working on expanding for open seating and other cool things. Excited for them to grow their business and definitely coming back!!

Food was fine, our party wasn't familiar with the cuisine so we ordered a set to try. Big portions, though some things were a salty and oily for me. Staff were also very friendly! We were celebrating a birthday and they played music on the speakers and had disco lights for us. A fun experience overall.

While the big shared feasts are fun, I was kinda curious about the specialty dishes (e.g. sisig) that were more of an à la carte experience. Silut Bilao #4: There were only 4 of us, so we didn't get the big dish with "Fight" in the name. There was so much here that no one had to fight for their food. I really like the Misua Soup we start with, had a nice chicken flavor and silky noodles. The main platter had so many fun and delicious items. The Crispy Pata was probably my favorite, so crispy and delicious, especially with the various dips. The Longganisa was another highlight with a cross-sectional cut that enabled a lot of surface area to be nicely charred. The Chicharon was another highlight since it both crispy crunchy skin and some softer meat + fat. The Grilled Liempo had the strongest charred grill taste. Everything else was nice too, just too many to enumerate. For dessert the mixed halo halo with ube ice cream was the best. So many great flavors and textures together at once.

I think if I had to rank them though, the chicken katsu takes the top spot, followed by the bbq chicken, kalbi, and bbq beef. What I love about L&L is that the value is still there. $15 for a regular, $12 for small and it comes with so much food. Definitely opt for the regular plate and turn it into two meals. Something I'm going to start doing is asking for two scoops of mac and 1 scoop of rice because even though their mac salad is simple, I can't get enough of it. I end up putting some hot sauce on it and I could eat that everyday. The turnaround time for orders is pretty quick, usually less than 10 minutes, which makes it a good option for a quick yet filling meal. Definitely will be back, just wish they put the roast pork back on the menu because that was my favorite menu item of all time!
