I'm a fan of the food, but not the high prices. I can't justify giving this restaurant 3 stars because the food was pretty good, and the service was excellent, AND it's a beautiful restaurant with fun people-watching. However, be warned: everything is EXPENSIVE as heck. Valet/parking is $15 with validation from restaurant. Breakfast for 2 people came out to $155. Coffee is ~$10 per person, and orange juice is $11. When we ordered our food, the server kept asking if we wanted berries, avocado, etc. Keep in mind that all these extras are ~$10, and we had no idea until the check came. We just thought the extras came with the dish because servers usually ask, "You want fruit or hash browns? You want what kind of toast? You want bacon or sausage?" and all these are part of the dish. However, the server got us good... they weren't part of the dish. Surprise! Despite that, I enjoyed my VIP (egg white scramble with spinach and mushrooms). Healthy but tasty and filling. My dad got the Macho Man (steak and eggs), and it was cooked well, but I certainly didn't think it was worth $40. Again, it all comes down to price. The food was tasty, and the service was wonderful, but is it all worth the price? Everyone will answer differently. The only reason I'd go back is if I need to show off my elite-ness to someone. It's the best place to impress a date or your in-laws with your wallet. However, with friends? No. It's truly a Beverly Hills restaurant, and if that's what you need, then this is the perfect choice. Wow. This was probably the most expensive breakfast I've had. Given the price of the food, I was expecting some above average food and service to say the least. The ambiance is very high-end, upscale and classy. The decor is modern and the waiting staff is very professional for the most part. We ordered: (2) Huevos A La Espanola - poached eggs, tomato, olives, capers, grilled toast (1) Norwegian - smoked salmon, poached eggs, potato rosti, hollandaise, caviar (2) Country Breakfast - sunny-side up eggs, sundried tomato, smoked bacon, pecorino romano When the food came, the waiter brought us 2 Huevos A La Espanola, 2 Norwegian and 1 Country Breakfast. Not only did our waiter got our orders wrong, he gave the wrong dish to each of us. When we asked why we had 2 Norwegian and 1 Country Breakfast he kinda gave a bad attitude as if he was right and we were wrong. When he went to check the order receipt, he did realize he brought out the wrong food and then lied saying that he accidentally brought the wrong dish and that the correct dish would be coming out.... and it came out 10 minutes later meaning that he placed the incorrect order to the kitchen in the 1st place or the kitchen just cooked the wrong dish - should've just told the truth saying that they were going to cook one up fast rather than saying he brought out the wrong dish. Anyway, food was average and service was subpar. Not sure why people eat here honestly. I can make eggs just as good! read more

Once I stepped in front of The Blvd, my family and I glanced at the menu and went inside. This isn't a restaurant that we would generally eat at. We had to wait a few minutes before getting seated because others had reserved seating. Upon getting seated, we had to double check that the hostesses were not forgetting about our party because one of them allowed us to sit at a table while waiting. After we got seated, the waiter asked if we had been here before. We needed a few minutes before ordering and once we did - I felt like the waiter was being disrespectful. When my aunt ordered her tuna salad, he corrected her by saying it was a Niçoise salad. He then went on and corrected the rest of our table as we ordered what we wanted. I ordered the chicken ricotta and my mom ordered the salmon pizza. Mine actually made my stomach turn a little and I think it was because of the sauce. My mom's salmon pizza was a regular good sized portion of a small pizza but I was not impressed with the taste. The good thing that I liked about this hotel was solely the decorations and how beautiful it looked. I came here on a Friday night for a bday dinner. Coincidently, it is also the last night for dineLA. Naturally, we opted for the 3-course menu ($44). Before we ordered our food, our server took our drink orders. He was very polite and accommodating. The service here is, surprising, not snooty. --Food-- My picks from the dineLA menu were: 01. BLVD Winter Caprese - 1 star Grilled Treviso, Golden Beets, Baby Turnips, Burrata The combination of ingredients was not good. It tasted bitter and just unappetizing. I didn't say a word, but it not tasting good. Our server came by and asked if I wanted to pick a different appetizer - literally anything, it didn't have to be on the dineLA menu. So I was thinking, "Wow, really?" 02. BLVD Crisp Salad - 3.5 stars Wild Arugula, Honey Crisp Apple, Candied Hazelnuts, Smoked Ricotta Salata But I went with the BLVD crisp salad since on my ladies liked it. The salad was fresh and tasty... loved the crisp apple and nuts to add texture. 03. Tomato Poached Organic Salmon - 3 stars Cockles, Bilbao Chorizo, Fregola, Tomato Marmalade The salmon was nicely poached leaving it juicy. The salmon was a bit bland, but when I ate it with the other ingredients, it was more flavorful. However, the chorizo was overpowering the fish. With the salmon I had a sauvignon blanc ($12 a glass), a light body and crisp wine. 04. Key Lime Cheesecake - 2 stars Citrus Shortbread, Rosemary Lemon Ice Cream The presentation and flavor was unexpected. The key lime cheesecake mixture was atop the shortbread, layered with caramel crisps and finished with a scoop of ice cream. The cheesecake portion was like soft serve ice cream and the ice cream had a strong herb flavor. Not my cup of tea. The food sampling we had was all over the place. There were hits and misses. --Ambiance-- The ambiance was relaxed and semi-old school Beverly Hills. The live music was nice. The musician was friendly. He came by our table a few times to chat and asked if we had any requests. He also sang happy birthday to the bday girl. --Overall-- At the end of our meal, the restaurant surprised us ladies glasses of champagne. There's nothing better than having a long lunch on the boss' dime. As a note though, if you're in a hurry, you have to let them know. Otherwise, an hour in a half can go by in a blink. We started with a sashimi and sushi roll appetizer. Both were good, fresh, but nothing that exciting. Since they didn't do anything that a good sushi place wouldn't do, and they charge more than a good sushi place (at least more than most), then that was a bit disappointing. For the main course I got the which was really exception. Very juicy, very tender just spot-on. And the mashed potatoes it came with were creamy and delicious. The bar is not a bad place to wait either as you have the hotel lobby (the Beverly Wilshire) and restaurant to people watch depending on how you situate yourself. The dining and the service are amazing. However what really does it is the food. I was fortunate enough to meet the executive chef in the lobby and he couldn't have been more nice. I mentioned that I needed coffee for my wife and he ran and got me some even though he didn't need to. I can't speak highly enough about French toast which may be the greatest French toast I've ever had. The level of attention that we received while we were here every day for five days was second to none and spoiled us anywhere else we went. I had been anticipating to go and try this place out and when I finally did I was very pleased. I am shocked to read such negative comments. I came on a Friday at 5:30 and we were seated on the patio with an amazing view. I had ordered the halibut which was cooked to perfection. I ordered a salad on the side which was very delicious. We ordered the Tuna tartar which was served in mini cones. These entrée is served for breakfast but our waiter was kind enough to make an exception for us. Based on my experience and many of the reviews here, the servers in this restaurant have slavery mentality. If you're tough on them, they'll work right. If you're kind, they'll take advantage. The management need to provide training to avoid judging book by its cover. Our server (during this Christmas holiday visit) started off respectful but once we turned friendly, he turned snotty. We made plans in the area for the evening at the last minute and our normal places were all booked up. This is a good thing as it made us try something new. This location is in the front of the Beverly Wilshire Hotel right in the heart of all the action. You can enter from the street or from within the hotel. The interior is nice. The ceilings are tall and there are not a ton of tables crammed in. We received solid service through out our meal. Our server was very friendly. For my meal I ordered the Egg Bucatini. It comes with ndjua sausage, spiced red pepper sauce, ricotta cream, toasted pine nuts and a warm poached egg. You get a good sized portion. It was more than enough to fill me up. You also get a good amount of sauce and the sauce is hearty. I enjoyed this meal quite a bit. The sausage and sauce create a bold flavor and are complimented nicely by the cream and pine nuts. The prices are high, but inline for the area and the hotel. The only downside for me was that the menu is limited. I really enjoyed what I liked but I could never come too often as there are not enough options to mix it up regularly. read more

Food was ok not memorable; the green shashuka was too green to our liking and mint was overpowering; the kale and spinach was pretty ok, the pistachio crossiant was good but when compared to places i ate a similar crossiant in London this one did not stand out; Avocado toast was ok. I visited the Four Seasons Beverly Hills hotel for a nice brunch and felt it to be a mediocre experience. When I go to an upscale restaurant, I expect a high level of service and quality. Service was mediocre at best, with my table having to request more water multiple times. At such high prices I would expect better. The food was good, but overpriced for what it is. The burger was amazing (getting it with goat cheese was a great decision), but at $32 is insanely overpriced. The BLVD Benedict looked very impressive with ham and lobster, but I honestly did not find it to be very tasty (not enough hollandaise sauce?). The Macho Men dish had delicious steak, but the scrambled eggs were extremely dry. If I came back here it would solely be for the burger. read more

The bisque was just fine and I think Costco chicken tastes better to compare to this one. The dessert was good (probably they ordered them from the bakery). I love it here! Its so beautiful inside but the couches inside are kinda low from the table which can make it uncomfortable for dinner. Sit outside on a beautiful sunny day fir lunch and inside for a more intimate lunch or dinner. The bar is a great stop for a drink in between shopping! ;) The Crudo is delicious it's served tuna tar tare, salmon tar tare and chopped avocado Its just the perfect appetizer!! I loved the grilled salmon it was amazing!! The Blvd burger is scrumptious made of ground kobe and I love how the fries are served in a mini deep frying basket, adorable presentation. Coming down to LA after visiting SF, we have to stop by Rodeo Drive. When the shops started to close down, we stop by The Blvd for dinner. Couldn't get a table outside, so we settled for a table inside the restaurant. We haven't been back to the Beverly Wilshire for a long time, and the last time there were no social media to post any review so here we are doing one for this cool place. We had the Smoked Spice Rub Lamb Ribs and the grilled Salmon with asparagus and mashed potatoes. They were both delicious. The Lamb Ribs literally came in a smoked filled glass container. It was a really cool presentation (see pictures below). The creme brûlée was really good too, but they made it like a cheese stick which was not very appealing! read more

My parents took me here for my 29th birthday because they had raved about the steak they had when they went to their office's holiday party. They told me that it could possibly beat Ruth's Chris, so i had to definitely try it out... Although I came for the steak, my eyes could not stop eyeing "the Bling burger" on the menu... The menu stated, "kobe beef, seared foie gras, sauteed wild mushrooms, and truffle fries" OMG! I think this was THE perfect birthday meal for myself because for years I've celebrated my birthdays with my favorite food - BURGERS. :) And this was the pinnacle of them all - it was really BLING. It was so juicy and soooo tasty and even though the pricetag on such a simple menu item was pretty hefty, i'd go back. Actually, i plan to go back in December to take my very best friend out for a celebratory belated birthday dinner!!! I've got to go back for sure! We did have other items such as the East & West Coast Oysters (very good), the fire & ice spicy tuna tartare (very very good), the fork & knife caesar salad (not memorable), and my husband had the steak which was almost perfection but didn't beat Ruth Chris' sizzling buttered steak. AND since they knew it was my birthday they served me a tray of sample size desserts! OMG and it was absolutely free for me! I really had a great dining experience. A great place for a drink on Wilshire when you want to take a respite from the tourists and crowds while remaining steps from all the Rodeo stores and an easy in and out. As a BH native and high tea connoisseur, I was excited to come back to The Beverly Wilshire after a few years to see how things had changed. Everyone in my party ordered the afternoon tea (or some variation thereof). Pros: The service was excellent. Although they got all of our orders completely wrong, Benjamin from Paris came to our rescue to rectify the situation. They also gave my mother a few extra pours of champagne for her Mother's Day tea. Cons: The teapot I received was missing a lid, so they put a saucer on top (picture included). everyone in my party ordered loose leaf tea. Four of us received teabags and one received loose leaf tea without a strainer. Even though we pointed it out, the waitress did not get any strainer and poured the tea regardless. Thankfully, Benjamin noticed later and fixed it (towards the end). The desserts were really just average so nobody even bothered to finish them. The sandwiches were also not very good. The cheddar sandwich was absolutely inedible. Overall, the experience was highly disappointing, and unless the quality greatly improves, I will not be returning. We should have just gone to The Peninsula as usual. read more

Plenty of staff attended our table &, even though the kitchen was supposed to close at 11p, we drank and snacked until after midnight. Our table ordered a few charcuterie, cheese plates, ahi tartar, quesadillas & sliders. The sliders tasted like a steak on a bun and came with delicious truffle-oil fries. The next morning, breakfast & service were good. The menu makes a point of using fresh local ingredients. There were plenty of waitstaff for the total number of guests in the dining room. My coffee was regularly refilled, even though I had my own carafe. The night before, someone mentioned the fresh squeezed juices. I had a glass of carrot juice & it was excellent. A few interesting menu choices included a black truffle omelet, scrambled duck eggs and quail eggs. I kept it simple and ordered the Americano (eggs, ham, hash browns & bread). The hash browns were served with housemade ketchup, which was a nice touch. A couple other nice touches included a broad selection of newspapers (LA Times, NY Timex, WSJ & the Financial Times) and the waiter brought a to-go cup for my coffee. read more

Great experience, I have been here repeatedly. Always great service, food have always been done perfectly. My suggestion would be park at the hotel valet, have brunch at "the Blvd" then hit Rodeo for shopping if you are so inclined. This restaurant matches the refined level of service and attention one would expect from a Four Seasons hotel facility, expect the price to match these expectations. My absolute favorite restaurant in BH. If you want to be able to TALK to the people you're at dinner with then THE Blvd is the place to go. You can get tables overlooking Rodeo Dr. inside and outside. The food is always delicious and the wine menu is fantastic. I typically go to dinner around 8:30pm and it's hardly crowded. Great place for a date night or when parents are in town (no matter the age) If you want super gourmet food, go to CUT, located in basically the same building. Blvd has great options but their menu isn't enormous. There is often a pianist and sometimes a trio of performers during the dinner hours, which I absolutely LOVE. The difference between this place and other BH restaurant is that you can HEAR EACH OTHER. Highly recommend the sugared doughnut dessert- they come warm with three dipping sauces that are delicious. And last but not least, they have the best cheese plate in LA... I order cheese plates literally everywhere and they just do it best. I believe her name was Marissa. She was so nice, very accommodating, and not once did she have that "I hate my job" attitude that you get from servers. She answered the questions we had and even went out of her way to make sure the dessert was what my goddaughter wanted for her birthday treat since there was nothing on the dessert menu she'd love. We sat by the window so we were able to people-watch. We had some drinks and chatted while waiting for our food (which came out fairly quickly). The menu seems to change and this particular day didn't have anything I really wanted. However, I was still pleased with what I ended up ordering. Dinner: Charred octopus & arugula salad (2); Aleppo & almond crusted salmon; Free range half roast chicken; Lamb chops (2); Wagyu NY-strip loin; Porcini mushroom ravioli. Went for Easter brunch. I had a feeling it was overpriced LA food and you pay for the location, and I was right. Ambiance is nice and there was a talented musician playing and singing live music. I did really like the burrata, it was like creamy silk. Fish and lamb were a bit dry, but lamb was pretty good. Just wasn't wowed. For breakfast, the Benedict was my favorite, although if you are staying at the hotel, crispiest in-room bacon and freshest, tastiest croissants and muffins I've had in a while. I remember when I first came to LA the Regent was one of the first place I hit. It's definitely a winner when it comes to elegance and a well ran hotel and restaurant. So many great memories I have at this place. Most every Friday evening you could find me sitting at the bar on the last stool reading my mail and enjoy the ambiance. It's a comfortable familiar place for me. I've enjoyed many great dinners , celebrations and great holidays at this place.
