This was our first visit to this specific Carving Board. One thing I would have to say I am not a fan of is the discontinuing of the giant cotton candy (joking but not joking ). Other than that this place is a great local chain. They have several locations in the Valley or within LA county and I can see why, since this place has such high quality items. I have been coming to the Carving Board since they had their food truck and their first location on Ventura Blvd. I absolutely love this place. From their freshly made chips to their deliciously fresh made sandwiches and burgers. I know they have several other menu items not, but I am a basics type of guy, since they make everything with the best ingredients. Their prices are a little higher now, but with rising prices for everything else, I can see why the prices are a little higher than years ago. I am usually a fries guy, but you can't pass up freshly fried chips with the perfect amount of salt on them. Their burgers are cooked to order and you're defiantly not going to get the short end of the stick quality wise. This was my first time having The Carving Board and it was delicious and great! The cashier helped me pick a great sandwich called 'The Bentley' and it was simply the best sandwich I have ever had in my life. Their chips are also freshly made in-house and were warm and delicious! The salad is also just as tasty, so you can't go wrong with your side choice! A few years later, and this is still one of my favorite local sandwich places. I most recently popped in looking for "something light" and the Roughage sandwich absolutely covered that. The ingredients were crisp and fresh and cold. The pesto and mayo blended together perfectly, although it did make the sandwich a bit dangerously slippery. Found this spot on Yelp and we are so happy we did. Sandwiches are fire, Jones soda, yaaassss, and the desserts mouthgasm good. We've tried the French dip, Buffalo grilled cheese, the Bentley, and the pulled pork, all stellar. It makes ordering really difficult cuz I want them all in my mouth. The ciabatta they use is perfect for the French dip and the Bentley soaking up all the goodness and strong enough to not fall apart, while still allowing a perfect bite. The fries are ok, their house potato chips are good, but the tomato soup with that dollop of goat cheese and a little kick of spice is dreamworthy and totally worth the small upcharge. Deep fried oreos. I mean, c'mon! They cover them with chocolate syrup and powdered sugar. You know how oreos get that slight soggy still crispy thing when you leave em in milk for the exactly perfect amount of time? Yeah, it's like that...but with a cozy warm crispy fried chocolatey shell. It's like opening a Christmas present with your mouth. The butter cake is ooey gooey goodness! I keep telling myself I'm only going to eat half of it, and then it's gone. I recommend having water or milk handy cuz it is rich and luscious. We ordered two sandwiches and each had half. I am telling you these are the best sandwiches I have ever had. The clydsdale and blue ribbon. One was chicken and the other was roast beef. Two words: Food Coma! Came here for lunch with my bro and his good friend. Luckily it wasn't super busy but when we went to order, the guy said there was a 15 minute delay on food. Luckily my bro's friend ordered that and offered to let me try some. I got the midnight snack, which is basically a BLT with an over easy egg in the middle, which after watching Spanglish, I am a huge fan. My bro got the fish and chips sandwich, which came with actual chips in it! We each got a side with our sandwiches - my bro got fries, his friend sweet potato fries and I got a salad, to be healthy (but given all the food was probably pointless but still good to get your greens in!) Food came out in normal time, didn't notice any kind of delay. My sandwich was pretty good but very messy to eat. I cut a piece for my friends, and they shared as well. I liked the spaghetti sandwich, but felt like it was like the ramen burger, a bit overhyped and also very messy! The fish and chips were really good, I like having chips in my sandwich. Fries and salad were also good. Soooo full afterwards. Overall pretty good food, not cheap though. Sandwiches were about 10-13 each, which is not terrible but for sandwiches, a little pricey. I was craving a sandwich so bad and not just any sandwich a nice cold turkey sandwich and found this place via Yelp since I was in the area. It was a toss between this place or wild carvery spot. I decided to go with thus spot and I have to say I am sooo happy. When I first walked in I was greeted by Cullin he was friendly and I asked him for recommendations. I opted for The Carving Club. It has nice thin pieces of turkey, bacon, cheese and I opted for no tomatoes. The pickle was super crispy and absolutely delicious. For the side I paid an additional $2.00 and got the tomato soup. It was really good as well however my mistake for ordering hot soup on a hot day but I still ended up eating half. One thing that I also enjoyed was their soda selection it was by a brand called Jones omg the root beer was soo yummy. I love a good root beer and sandwich. I absolutely love their fish and chips sandwich here. The fish is cod and is battered perfectly. The amount of light slaw they put and actual potato chips really accompany the sandwich well. All components add to one other for a good sandwich. I would skip their tomato soup it was too acidify for me. Another favorite of mine is their BLT it's well mad. They use thick cut crispy bacon and their aioli used on it is insane has bacon in it too yum-o! Don't skip out on their Gooey butter cake it's to die for! We also had a variety of side from homemade potato chips, marinated cucumber salad n goat cheese tomato soup. Every sandwich was over the top delicious and we found ourselves moaning out loud. For example, the turkey dinner sandwich had moist shredded roasted real turkey with great stuffing, nice cranberries, grilled sautéed onions, with tons of gravy on buttered n toasted bread. Decent food! Not the best service. I have ordered from here twice for lunch at work, so I've never actually been to the location. The first time I go the Crab Cake Grilled Cheese which was shockingly good. As someone who grew up by the Chesapeake Bay, crab is usually the last thing I go for on the west coast, but I figured it was worth a shot! I was disappointed to see it was no longer on the menu the second time around. Yesterday, I ordered the Roughage Sandwich on sourdough. Good crisp veggies - got a side salad and their homemade chips to round it out. It was a little soggy by the time it got to me which I won't fault them for. The chips are nothing amazing and the vinaigrette on the salad was pretty aggressive, and I only used less than half of what was provided. The food is fine, but nothing terribly memorable. I spoke to them a couple times on the phone and discussed timing, and the orders were still 30-ish minutes late. Apparently you can get any of the sandwiches prepared as a salad (as my coworker keeps reminding me), not that I've tried it. read more

The dining room is temporarily closed due to covid but they have outdoor seating.The employee brought out my order after a short wait and asked if I needed anything else. The fries were a mixture of regular potato and sweet potato fries. They were so good; I especially loved the sweet potato fries (and usually I'm not a huge fan). The Pot Roast sandwich was good as well, and very interesting. You have to use a fork and knife to eat the Pot Roast, and it can be a little messy. A friend and I spent the day at the Burbank art festival, and after wandering the booths all afternoon we wanted to pop in for a late lunch somewhere!
