I come to this Coffee Bean all the time to study, like at least 4 days a week. The staff is extremely friendly and the service is usually extremely prompt. I'm commonly asked what I want before I order and by the time I pay my drink is ready! Seating is decent, there are a lot of options (indoor and outdoor) and variety of seats with outlets accessible. Even if the tables are full, you usually don't have to wait more than a few minutes for one to open up. The only gripe I have about this location is some of the occasional "clientele" but that's a side effect of being in the City of LA and they don't usually cause problems. I used to go to Starbucks for years, no more - the coffee does not taste so good, too noisy and crowded. I love this outstanding Coffee Bean location by the river surrounded by lush nature and mountain views - the energy both inside and out is really lovely. Been a customer now for over 2 years. The staff are super nice and friendly. Zero complaints. There is an outdoor patio. Clean and bright. Plenty of parking. The locals are cool. And the coffee is delicious! So go get a coffee, and take a walk, a bike ride, or sit by the river, and watch the swallows, the squirrels and ducks. read more

Ordered from here a couple of times before hand and each time there's been an issue. This time around I placed a noble pick up order that was supposed to be done at 7:39 A.M. When I arrived at 7:39 to pick up my order not one single item was completed. I didn't get my complete order till 7:55. If I wanted to stand in and wait for my order I would've done so and not bothered with the mobile app. Will never go here again that's the last time they fuck my day up. read more

Very disappointed to see that this location is still requiring masks after Los Angeles stopped it's masking requirement based on CDC recommendations. The point of trusting our leaders and science is to trust them. I would be just as disappointed if this business had flouted masking guidelines when they were required. Coffee bean has more of a creamy texture than the other big coffee conglomerate. Service is always nice and friendly, but my only negative comment is that it has a small parking lot. If you want to spot a celebrity or two, this is a nice spot to hang out at and sip a cup of joe. read more

I've been a customer of this Coffee Bean location for many years and I use the mobile app to order, usually 3 to 4 times a week. My experience this morning was extremely aggravating. I placed my mobile order was at 8:05 am with a pickup time of 8:13 am....I didnt get my order until 8:38 am! The baristas making the drinks were on the ball and very efficient. The problem was with the guy at the register who was also handling all the food orders (in my case, a toasted bagel). He's clearly out of his element and has no idea what he's doing. The barista who made my drink asked him to get my bagel ready 3 or 4 times and Chris, the guy at the register, simply fumbled around. Eventually one of the other employees stepped in and took over the food prep, but, even then, she was relying on Chris to put the labels on the bag and call out the names which he failed to do. Eventually, I moved to the counter and asked if my food was ready and he just stared at me blankly... the woman helping pointed to the bag with my bagel, and he handed it to me (it was now no longer warm) . While I was watching all this mess going on, another customer came in with a simple order of a small drip coffee....Chris hadn't been monitoring that the drip coffee makers were empty so had to start a new brewing and told the customer it would take awhile... the customer expressed his shock and left muttering about taking his business to Starbucks down the street. I have always liked this Coffee Bean location but they need to correct the problems at the front counter or they'll lose even more regular customers. read more

I've given this place too many chances. Every single time has been a disappointment. The first time, I got my drinks but I waited for my "warm" sandwich too long. I asked one barista, about my sandwich and she just looks at me trying to figure out what I was asking, while the other girl who took my sandwich to warm up just stares as if I was speaking another language. Then the second time everyone after me got their order before me. I asked the barista if my order was going to be next and she didn't even know I ordered it. The person who I ordered my drink with was staring as if he didn't know what I was talking about. Are the workers slow and dumb, they forget faces and orders that quick in a short amount of time? Today, I came in to give it another chance. I asked for oat milk and paid extra just to get regular milk and already far from the store my stomach starts hurting having bubble guts. I've been here three times. Every-time they get the order wrong. They are always rude and slow. There are always different people. I just got served a dripping mess cup on the last of my order which I had to wait for after the other 4 drinks were done 10 mins ago. It makes u want to reach in and take your tip back out of the tip jar. . Bummer coffee beans are usually much better than this. For sure more friendly and take some pride in their job.
