I've also tried their shakes (cookie and cream) and it's a great pick me up when you're in search of a period craving, lol. The big boned tall woman is rude. She made a comment about me being too skinny as she's taking my order. Then she made a comment to another employee that all Equinox girls (I was talking about how I just came from there to my friend) are wanna be influencers. I rarely take the time to write reviews, but after multiple unpleasant experiences at this Coffee Bean on Sunset Blvd in Hollywood, I feel it's necessary to share. This is the third time we've had issues with an employee named Claudia. She has repeatedly provided poor customer service, including messing up orders, being dismissive when politely requesting another drink due to it being incorrect, and even refusing restroom access to a guest on a previous visit. She made it very clear that if we tipped after placing our order, she would allow us bathroom access. WTF ! Not acceptable, I don't even know how this Coffee Bean is functioning with an employee like her. There are so many reviews here regarding Claudia and it's sad to see the management does not care at all and allows this to happen. Tonight (around 9:38 PM), I stopped by for a caramel frappe, which I've ordered many times before, only to be told by Claudia that they were "only serving hot coffee." The store doesn't close until 10 PM, so that simply wasn't true. When I asked for clarification, she told me to "go complain to corporate. I then asked another employee who works here 2 minutes following asking Claudia, and he helped me. It's disappointing to see this kind of attitude at a place I enjoy at different locations. I hope management addresses this, because customers deserve better service. Until then, I'd recommend avoiding this location. Thank you Claudia but I will not be back here again. read more

The day prior, two minutes before closing, Claudia refused to prepare drinks until we offered an excessive tip, then provided a substandard drink and began closing early. This suggests coercive tipping and denial of service before posted closing time. My favorite Coffee Bean location! Claudia who works here is outstanding and she's just the best. Five star service. I love the Tokidoki limited edition drinks, cookies and merchandise. I hope they keep some of the Tokidoki drinks as permanent drinks, especially the Chocolatella one. For some reason, the CBTL chocolate and vanilla powders that they use are so superior and tastier than any of the competitors similar products. They just taste so much better and the "no sugar added" powder is fantastic. But please bring back the "no sugar added mocha"! ! That was my absolute favorite. I don't know why they discontinued it. They still make the no "sugar added vanilla" powder. If you want something really delicious try an ice blended "no sugar added vanilla" with cookies mixed in and whipped cream. Better than a milk shake and so good. Amazing. This is definitely one of the nicest Coffee Bean locations to sit with friends outside on the patio and hang out with your tea or coffee, plus it has its own free parking. Because Los Angeles has so many other coffee chains like Philz and Blue Bottle, The Coffee Bean never really appealed to me -- but I had to really use the restroom so I decided to stop here and also pick up a drink as well while I'm here. I ordered an iced vanilla oatmilk latte and I was surprise to see how fast it came out. The drink was pretty big for its size and I think sizes are comparable to Dunkin honestly. The coffee itself was pretty good too. There was only one or two baristas taking care of the entire hall but they knew what they were doing and got my drink ready very quickly. I was lucky though as a rush came in as soon as I got my drink and they seemed swamp. I've always passed this CBTL on Sunset on my way to somewhere else, but ever since I started becoming a customer, I started visiting more often. The good is they do have their own parking lot. The bad might be that it can be haphazard AF, especially if you have those large SUV's that don't know how to park within the small narrow space. However, they have a parking lot and that is what matters. It's been free the times I've visited (no attendant) but I've read this is not always the case. Employees for the most part are fine. One time I was waiting for a mobile order and I did not realize due to the size it was my order (I had ordered a small cup and my order was two times larger). They certainly weren't out of small cups so I'm not sure what that was all about but it all ended fine. Getting out of the lot at that light at Horn can be a pain in the neck, but hopefully, your trip here will be quick. read more

I wait..that's okay. But tell me why this employee is literally in the bathroom for 10 minutes. I knock and nothing. Not only that...the employee with the ponytail takes it upon himself to start talking about customers. One customer was parked in the handicap spot and you can obviously see his plaque on the dash. Just two cents for receiving great customer service. After I placed an order with my tip included (20%), I asked for the water, she said it's charged 0.25$ for the cup. I mean I could pay for it, and am aware of the company policy, but if you want to satisfy your customers, a cup of water for your customer wouldn't hurt your shop anyway. Two different outdoor patio areas for small to large parties. Not busy all the time, or at least not as busy as other coffee/tea wifi spots in the area.
