This establishment was such a gem to find while visiting the area on Father's Day. My experience here was bliss, the service here was great. Thank you to the staff that took my order as well as whoever prepared my incredible meal. You guys exceeded any expectation I could've had. Thank you again to the individual who took my order and helped me choose some pastries to take home, you have great taste. Made my experience better with your presence, thank you for trying to close the box with the pastries inside. I was also surprised to see that there was live music being played by this sweet couple while I ate inside, thank you two as well for amplifying the ambience with your voice and talent. I would visit more if not for that fact I live an hour away. Thank you.

Got the Breakfast Sandwich with Sausage. Very enjoyable. I had the bagel substituted with a croissant. The croissant was crispy, flaky and buttery. The gentleman behind the counter confirmed that the croissant was made in house. Good amount of cheesy gooeyness in the sandwich. Dining is available inside plus some tables outside. Ordering can be done at the register or via kiosk. TCS is located in the middle of a residential area. I went there on a Sunday morning and did not have any issues finding parking in the street. Service was very friendly, helpful and prompt.

Super cute hidden gem! Glad I got to try it, they have pretty basic "cafe" food items like pastries and breakfast sandwiches, coffee etc. I ended up ordering a breakfast sandwich, and was able to substitute the bagel it comes on for a croissant which was really nice of them to do for me, along with a regular latte, it all tasted really good! Our food came out at a reasonable time but the drinks did take quite a while, however the worker formally apologized to us & said that's not typical for them & it just so happen to get busy right behind us, which was true! but I really appreciated her taking a moment to apologize for something she had not a lot of control over, that gave me really good vibes & is a 10/10 customer service for me! Would definitely come back here for the nice chill environment and to try other things from their menu! :)

Our eBike Group stopped here today for lunch. The food was very good. We had everything from wraps to sandwiches along with different drinks and the service was excellent. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. We already talked about going here on a regular basis.

The corner Store may not be 100% back but the new owners apparently were gifted the old giraffe and they had some music scheduled! I appreciated the previous owners changing some things like opening the side yard, but I was lost when the Sailor's Delight fell off the menu. I can say it's back! It tastes great - maybe a tad smaller than before - but it and chips with a Dads Root Beer was great. Some benches to sit at. A great start! Not many "odd/ interesting sodas" but the Portuguese Blend was really good too.

Great environment! The staff is really nice!!! But my order was completed wrong. Ordered a chorizo bagel sandwich and got a sausage bagel that was burnt a bit!?

I've been coming to this cute and nostalgic place called The Corner Store for over 20years and it pained my heart to see my childhood diminish owner after owner. BUT I am happy to say that I really think this new owner David seems to be putting in the necessary work to revive The Corner Store & I couldn't be happier ! My friend and I stopped by today and ordered 2 iced horchata lattes, a chorizo breakfast burrito and some baked goods. Definitely excited for what is to come. The breakfast burrito was delicious & so are the Italian sodas they make! Croissant Cinnamon roll warmed up; yes please !! MUST be warmed up though! Go show them some love and support!

I took my husband to The Corner Store for Father's Day and we had a great meal. We had the opportunity to meet the new owner, David. Congratulations to you and your team. The ladies made great food suggestions. We will be sure to get the breakfast burrito next time. All of their baked goods are prepared in house.

I grew up in SoCal and unfortunately now live in the Bay Area. The Bay Area is a soulless, over priced, and hostile environment. Breakfast burritos in the Bay are never good, always $20, and when you ask for salsa they inevitably answer with -- is Tabasco ok? No. No it's not ok. What a huge relief to be back in SoCal, order a beautiful breakfast burrito, with a smile, and are given not just one salsa but two types. Treasure Corner Store and life in SoCal. PS Only recommendation is maybe add some more grocery like items to the store / deli items for more sandwich options.

This place was such a hidden gem on our beach walk the other day great people local charm! Food was wonderful the service was literally perfect. The cashier was talking with the kids who were ordering ice cream one of them couldn't open his soda and she overheard and immediately zoomed in to help. This will be a regular stop of mine. Also pet friendly (they insisted on a treat for my pup) and they keep tons of local items, including jams and honey's and clothing to support locals!

We loved this spot ! What is happening to it ?

What is going on with the corner store that we loved and adored for many years ? It's a gem and the energy is odd now, the love felt sucked out of here , it's running low on many supplies and they aren't offering the same quality baked goods and items. There's a sign in the window that says for sale and the young lady at the counter said that it got sold to new owners and she's not sure what is happening ? Does anybody know what they're going to do with this place of neighborhood love and years of a personal touch to our community? We are so sad on what it looks like inside with empty shelves , hardly and desserts - it's lost it charm and neighborhood vibes. The food was not the same either. I could say so much more but this is really sad is best. ;(

this is pretty cool spot, nice service as well. The Matcha is nice and the coffee is strong in the best way possible.

Okay ! I have been avoiding this place because I loved Spiros ! BUT I ordered it via Uber Eats…read moretoday. I got the burrito with all the meats but requested not to have ham and if I could replace it with either asada or chorizo and to my surprised they did !!!!...okay this is an extreme honest review ! Because I love breakfast burritos and because I truly think this place can have one of the best Bfast burritos if they work on some things...let me start of with the green salsa, honestly sucks ! Very bland, almost watered down (easy fix) ... the burrito was good but a little disappointing in a weird way !!!!, Listen !!!! Oddly enough it had asada trough every bite ! Plenty of sausage and bacon cooked to perfection ! But even though it didn't lack protein for some reason it was still not "packed"...trust me I'm confused as well ! "How can it have plenty of protein/meats but still be empty or soggy?" ... I have no clue ? But I'm not bashing it ! I truly think if they figure out how to pack it in better, maybe more egg and potatos? (Be careful because too much potato can kill it) ... also do not be afraid to season the eggs and potato's....a 10/10 breakfast burritos is usually packed ! When you hold it there's no flop or empty hollow tortilla.... I want to highlight again I'm not bashing it !!! It is a good burrito but can be worked on if you want it to be "top breakfast burrito in the southbay"... I give it a 7.7/10 at the moment ! Once they can Jam Pack it like ALL great breakfast burritos and work on their salsa I can see people traveling all over the southbay for this, also don't be afraid of seasoning! I know it's risky because some cooks over do it. Over all the hate for classics do to spiros legacy is not valid to me! This place was good and the fact they replaced the ham with asada shows they care. Hopefully this review didn't come off as hate because it's the complete opposite! I truly think this can be an amazing breakfast burrito !

We went back a week or so later on a Thursday night, we were seated promptly and then we waited for over 20 minutes to be acknowledged, offered water or to place our order. Instead we watched the server clean tables (there were plenty available), chit chat with staff at the bar and be in the kitchen for quite a period of time. No "I'll be right with you - nothing". We were ready to get up and leave and he finally came by to see what we wanted to drink. We decided to place our order because who knows when he would be back. I had the BBQ Chicken Salad which was delicious, he had a burger which was meh. The broiche bun was dry and was unbalanced (the top was thick and the bottom barely there) which made it fall apart when you ate it. The partnership began in 2007, and continues today. Our location is located outdoors, opposite to the El loco Fresh mexican cantina. It is an a la carte menu, very focused on burgers, fries and shakes. I've never tried a burger from them on a ship, but decided to try an ice cream shake (since it's not offered at any of the complementary eating places). We were on a back to back cruise on the Navigator, so once we were back on the boat, waited till 11 am (when they opened) to get two shakes (oreo and strawberry). Normally $5.50 (non-alcoholic), any previous sailing customer (i.e. someone with at least one previous sailing on RC) will get two 50% 'coupons' for a shake. Everything onboard automatically gets charged a 18% gratuity, so total for each shake was $3.54 (including the LA tax since I got it while in port). Like everything else here, it gets charged to the room, being settled up right after we disembark. The shakes were handmade, using soft serve vanilla ice cream as the base. Oreo crumbles or strawberry syrup was added along with milk, to make a pretty decent shake. Enjoying it right now while writing this review when I still have cell service before we head back to Mexico.
