Had a big group of party for 17 people tonight. We ordered 6 bags of combo#1, 3 cajin fries, 6 garlic bread, 3 Garlic noodles, and Garlic fried rice. Plus, the owner gave us 3 cajun fries for free! We all loved mild style seasoning and everything was great! But I was disappointed with the server's work. My family eats here at least once a month for the past year. There isn't usually a wait on weekdays. We always have excellent service and fun servers except on our last visit for my mom's birthday. Our female server TN passive aggressively asked what seasoning I wanted on our pound shrimp after my family last minute decided to add another pound to what we ordered. We had to try this place it's only about 2 miles from the house.The place is nice and open gives a feeling of plenty of room.The server was johnny on the spot and we were seated immediately. The menu offered a good variety of selections making you want to try much more than you can eat. I ordered the Gumbo ( spicy) and the Poorboy sandwich with shrimp and sweet potato fries. Wife ordered the Gumbo(spicy) and the Cajun shrimp and fries. The server was helpful, very efficient there isn't too much BS going on here it's what will you have I'll get it to you asap enjoy and here is the bill.Like a well oiled machine. Both of us thought the Spicy Gumbo was to die for We frequent New Orleans so this brought great gumbo close to home. The wife's dish was good and the seasoned fries were great just like the sweet potato fries. My sandwich had a great marriage of flavor's and was great ,but could have used a few more shrimp I had several bits that were just bread and the fixings(no shrimp). I'm used to a poor boy with a shrimp in every bit. I do recommend this place and we will definitely be back for the Gumbo and to try other item's. read more

This place was great. Always had a good experience there with the servers and when the regular chef was there. I went a couple times when he was not working and the food was just ok. I decided to go yesterday for dinner and it was totally crap!! I asked if they had a new cook and they told me yes he has taken the place of the regular chef. I replied the chef with the glasses?
