Fun spot! Came here after I went to the dentist lol! Figured I would just grab a coffee. I've never had Cuban food before. I am so glad that the people that were already eating there told me how good it was! I ended up ordering the oxtail, Puerto Rican and Cuban Tamales. The oxtail came with rice and beans and I got a iced coffee. Everything was great! I want to try their garlic shrimp next time. I was not expecting there to be as good as flavor as there was! Everything was really good the coffee was lightly cinnamon flavor. My favorite was the Cuban Tamales. Definitely getting those moving forward from here. Great job and cool people! If you're there you can meet Poppy the owner! He is hilarious and super fun and you can hear that Cuban accent sounds like Andy Garcia :-) I also really enjoyed the music that they have playing it's very lively and even a couple was dancing

OMG my new favorite place! I got the Ropa Vieja empanada with the mojo sauce and it's soooooo delicious! The sauce is my favorite! I wish I could have a huge bottle to myself! The empanada is pretty big and so is the Papa Rellena! I also got a Guava pastelito and let me tell you I could eat 5 The owner is super sweet and welcoming! The service was fast and I got to try the Cuban Split Pea Soup and I loved it! Overall such a great experience with good vibes and great energy with the music and Art murals too 10/10 !

Number one the Owner super friendly, nice, and very personable. He makes you feel as if he has known you forever. Definitely family vibes when you walk in. Now lets get to the food. We love that it was home made and it felt like I was eating and my Aunts house fresh cuban food. Hot and ready to serve. My favorite thing was the pastelitos de carne. This was the main reason we stopped by to try this place and we came out trying other food and new foods. I highly recommend this place and we will definitely be coming back.

Walked in on a Friday afternoon, not very busy and was helped immediately. We were also given a small sample of a green potato pork soup, which was delicious. Beans needed salt and my table had no salt/pepper shakers available. Both the lechon and chicharones plates were delicious. Potato balls were small and sadly over fried, but very flavorful. Great Latin music playing in the background. The owner is very friendly. We definitely will come back and try other things on the menu. Potato balls arrived to the table late, so no picture available. Before leaving, we couldn't resist trying one of their homemade pastries. If you haven't tried their guava and cheese pastry, it will not disappoint!

Recently stopped in to try this hidden Gem. I have to say I'm very happy I did. The food was very flavorful and the ambiance delivered by Gio and the staff was very welcoming. It's a place you want to stop in to enjoy some food and feel at home. I will definitely come back and bring friends. Stop in and have some good food. The moment I walked in, it smelled really good! I tried the ropa vieja with congri and it was delicious. I also got the 1/2 pound of chicharrón and it did not disappoint at all. The portions are good size and quality. I will definitely be returning and trying other items from their menu!

The shop ordered lunch for the crew today and we landed on Cuban. I got the King Cuban sandwich with fried plantains. All our orders arrived correctly. The sandwich was stuffed with so much meat that was so tasty. The plantains were delicious as well. I would order this again.

Holy moly... what a find! This place truly is a gem! Let's start off with the pros The food is absolutely insanely delicious! I'm not even being nice enough saying that. Ahhhh!! They bottle their amazing sauce and my husband surprised me with a bottle today!! I am so excited to put it on everything. We had to get our staple meal the Cuban sandwich with fresh chips but that wasn't all my husband brought home this time he also bought some of their amazing soup. Our 8 yr old daughter didn't share it besides a taste, so bravo to you getting my daughter to devour vegetables. It had so much meat and such great flavor.

I was in the area and was craving Cuban food and The Cuban Hut popped up on my Yelp feed. Thank goodness!! I decided to get the Ropa Vieja and it did not disappoint! The plate came with rice, plantains and beans. I was also given a complimentary lentil soup that had bits of pork and it was yummy. The Ropa Vieja was seasoned very well and was complimented greatly with the rice, beans and plantains. The flavors all came together. If I lived in Temecula I would definitely e a regular. A+++

** update** New post - I felt the need to re-review this place cause I had such a bad experience the last time i was in!! What happened?!? The food use to be great...now it's yucky!! Is there New management or a new cook?!? I'm so sad. I'm heading over to the Cuban place in Old Town. I've heard nothing but things!! Old post.... This place was great! I'm from Florida and missed all of the amazing Cuban food. It's SO nice to see there's a place in Temecula that serves top quality authentic Cuban food!! Great energy and vibe in this gem. Choppin it up with the employees feels like a homey atmosphere. Had the cubano sandwich, Croquetas, Chile Relleno and the chicharon plate. All were exceptional. Ooooook! Let's start with THEY ARE CUBAN! My wife is Cuban (legit Cuban born and raised) I grew up in Miami and let me tell you bro, this spot is LEGIT! They have croquetas and they taste good! AND ITS MADE IN HOUSE! That's a first for any place around. That's for sure bro. My family and I stopped coming after the last management because the food just didn't taste like the name. They have false advertisement. Their business hours say the close at 7 so does YELP... We arrived at 6:15 we saw workers in there talking and joking and they closed 42 minutes before the actual time. There were several customers waiting outside ... Wont be back.. read more

The food here is authentic, I am a longtime client of Porto's they are better than them. Portions are bigger prices are great. Their Cuban is delicious, stuffed with a lot of meat. Papasas Rellana or (potato balls) don't disappoint. Don't be deceived by the location the are worth your time and money. read more

It was my choice for my birthday dinner. We were not disappointed! The medianoche was absolutely delicious! Comfort food at its best. All of the food was fresh and hot when we got it home. We ordered a few of the other menu items including empanadas and platanos maduros and enjoyed them all. First time trying this place and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing! We tried the Tony Montana sandwich which was delicious. We also tried the chicharrón de puerco with rice and black beans. The taste on the chicharrón was like no other. We had their arroz con leche, flan and the pasteles de guava and cream cheese. All I can say is WOW! We originally went to try their Arroz con pollo but they ran out. I guess that's a good sign and it gives us an excuse to go back soon. The only negative aspect is limited seating. Cuban sandwich - 10/10. Good size, very tasty. Pan con bistek (steak sandwich) - 9/10. French fries aren't authentic dry, thin ones, like the kinds used in Miami. A supply issue, not restaurants fault. Still tasty. Food was ok, but the owner didn't want to honor the the free empanada when you check in. Never going back because of it. I mean, I just went there to try out something small for the first time. Then I sat down to enjoy my drink and empanadas and seen that I was to get a free empanada if I checked in with yelp. So I decided to use it immediacy and told the people at the counter They literally looked at one another and said " oh this is a new thing and I would have had to order a meal." I'm like, not that's not what yelp says and I showed them my phone. They reluctantly gave me the free empanada, but as I said before, I'm never ever going back. I guess there is a reason why some businesses are virtually empty during lunch time. Its all about customer service and good food. Either you have both, or you have nothing. read more

The night ended with us watching the fireworks from ONT field. Overall a great experience! Highly recommend trying.

I've worked in customer service and understand that places get busy, but this wasn't a matter of being busy, it was a matter of not caring. We were treated as if we didn't exist. If this is the standard of service this restaurant accepts, there are plenty of other places that deserve your money far more than this one. The prices are pretty reasonable for their portion size and I think every gal enjoyed themselves! Multiple staff members came to check on us and bring us our food, and all of them were great to talk to and helped us decide on our drinks or food orders. As soon as you step into the restaurant, you feel as if you stepped into Cuba itself.
