I have a lot of issues with food. I frequently get very sick if my food has any gluten in it at all. The issue is often starts very slowly, and over time I start to get swelling in my lymph nodes. I drive by this place ALLLLL THE TIME!! Today I wasn't feeling any kind of gross fast food and have been wanting to dabble a bit more with vegan food, so here I am! Maximina is so super sweet and friendly! But not sugary sweet, comfortable sweet. Does that make sense? Haha She was very helpful in explaining what her place was all about and guiding me to a wonderful lunch. They mostly do meal prep here right now, but they have a menu with some wonderful things too! They are still at a "soft open" stage, so I paid by the Venmo app (no real point of sale device just yet) and she let me know that it's only a limited menu until they fully open, but totally worth it IMO. The inside is super cute and it'll be great to see this place thrive. My salad and smoothie came to a total of $22.73, but it's to my understanding that you're going to pay a bit more to have the good stuff. Idk if this is a good or expensive price, but I know I enjoyed every bite and drop and I feel good about what I ate both mentally and physically! Excited to try more things here! read more

Let's just say I had a not so heavenly vegan experience. The lady owner arrived to work while I was picking up a take out order. Apparently she was delivering food items through the front customer entrance and I had taken her unmarked parking spot directly in front of the venue. She was rude, unapologetic and demanded 3 times that I move my car, so she could drop off food deliveries. I was in a bind as I was trying to pay for my order per the directive of her husband. My 3 friends and I ate outside at The Heavenly Vegan when the restaurant was open from 1-4pm on Friday. We ordered the Spring Rolls, Sweet Potato Peanut Noodles, Jackfruit Quesadilla, and the Quiche of the Day. We also ordered Carrot Cake and a Fudge Brownie. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I am so glad I found Maximina and The Heavenly Vegan. I was on a long search to find a meatless meal prep option and thankfully I found The Heavenly Vegan. Maximina provides you with delicious, healthy, vegan meals, and you can tell her food really comes from her heart! There are so many things to rave about, but the top three things that stand out for me is the quality, portion size, and convenience. The quality of food that Maximina provides is spectacular! I feel at ease knowing that she cooks with non-GMO and organic ingredients. When I was looking at other meal prep companies, it did not seem to be a top priority for them. Many other companies did not offer meatless options either. One company even admitted they only use about 20% of organic and/or non-GMO ingredients... Yikes! I like to be knowledgable about the food that goes into my body, and The Heavenly Vegan takes away any doubt I have about good and healthy plant-based food. Also, you can really taste the freshness in the food. I love seeing how Maximina incorporates so many different colored vegetables into her recipes. Her food is not only delicious, but it is a sight to see! When ordering from The Heavenly Vegan, I was worried that I might feel hungry after eating the meals. Boy, was I wrong! The portions that Maximina provide are HUGE! I feel full after each meal, and sometimes I even had to split one meal into two. I feel that her meals are really worth every buck. Maximina makes the best Vegan food around. We do the meal service each week. We LOVE the Spring Rolls, Flat Breads, Curry Dishes, Stroganoff, Crab cakes, Cookies, Donuts, and more. Once you start ordering your weekly meals, you will never stop. This place is going to grow and be the GOTO place for everything Vegan - the food is so tasty. The food itself is 5 stars and Maximina gets 5 stars just cause she has a great personality and awesome communication. THe only problem is they need more help so Maximina can concentrate on cooking instead of getting the orders ready and cleaning. She's also flexible with her meals... for example: I brought a loaded sweet potato.. but I don't like sweet potato, and I asked for a regular potato and it was done:) I think her prices are fair considering she does do organic. It's $8 for a breakfast item, $10 for a lunch item and $12 for a dinner item. She also sells snacks and desserts on the side. I appreciate the amount of items she offers each week. This is a very small space. We arrived at 10:15 on a Saturday morning and only 3 people were seated, already having ordered and were waiting for their food. Waited at the counter for 7 minutes before anyone even came out to take our to-go order (a quesadilla and falafel wrap). We were told it would be "a few minutes". 30 minutes (!) later, I again waited for someone to come to the front to ask how much longer it would be and was told "3-5 minutes. We make everything fresh to order, so it takes longer and we're still working on these people's order, so.....". Mind you, no one else had come in this whole time. Ummm, ok. 12 minutes later, our food was finally ready. The food was good, really good, BUT it would have been polite to just let us know from the get go that it's going to be a 45 minute wait. Oh, and the owner said, "If you order online, there's no wait, you know, so for next time." Well, if we had placed our order online and driven over (3 minutes drive), it still would have been 40 minutes- that makes no sense. read more

The Heavenly Vegan is a lifesaver for me. I recently went vegan after being vegetarian for 15 years and it is impossible to stay committed when you don't have time to plan/shop/cook. Maximina plans the weekly menu, does the shopping, and the cooking, and even delivers the meals to my door! This is exactly the support that I need to stay committed.
