Came here with a group of friends and it was alright. The ambience of the restaurant is very fancy and nice inside. They also have a huge outdoor porch to eat on. Very nice place inside. The food was mediocre. Nothing special and mild in flavor. Also very expensive for the quality. Service was the same. Took a long time to get our checks and our wait time wasn't communicated. Though the employees work well as a team to bring out the food. I did have a problem with my food and they resolved it right away. I don't think I'd go back , wasn't very worth it to me unless I wanted to sit in a restaurant that felt nice. read more

Where do I begin? I'm going to start off by saying this is my favorite restaurant in the valley! From the ambiance, to the food, to the excellent service, this place is a MUST VISIT! I've tried multiple entrees, appetizers, desserts and cocktails during each visit and they blow me away each time! I highly recommend the Brussels sprouts, short rib pot stickers and the Bolognese. All the food is 10000/10. The fudge pie was exceptional and had my eyes rolling to the back of my head after each bite. The icing on the cake here is the service! Review #2 of this location. Although my 1st of 2 tacos fell apart, that didn't discourage me from giving this 5 stars. The esthetics is always classy but not over bearing. You are waited on by multiple servers who all give impeccable service. From the hostess at the front to our main server. Perfect timing of apps. Everything is delicious and perfect. Am I wrong in saying there use to be 2 crab cakes instead of 1? Regardless, it was tasty despite more sweet corn salad than crab cake. The remoulade that goes with it is also so good. Their brussel sprouts are my favorite out of any establishment I have been to. Seabass tacos come with rice but I didn't know that so ordered a side of mac and cheese. Bass is nicely spiced. Mac & cheese, perfect smoothness. And butter cake, don't skip that! Really busy during lunch but the Henry team seems to be pros at it in the short time of this location being here. So enjoyed my first visit here. I've been to the one in Arcadia. The interior is beautiful. Went for lunch to celebrate my friend. We didn't have a reservation. Told a short wait. Off to the bar we go. Drinks were nice and strong. Seated quickly. Ordered the crispy chicken sandwich And the crab cake. Everything delicious. And offered a birthday dessert. Ice cream it is. First time here and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The restaurant is on the smaller side o. The inside but has a nice covered patio with heaters, and a nice fireplace outside for all those cold days in Phoenix... the drinks were amazing but the seasonal Polar Expresso Martini was amazing. The short rib potstickers were recommended by our server and they were the best potstickers we have had in a while! Breakfast burrito and turkey dip were all amazing as well. We are here on Sunday for brunch with my friend's grandchildren. I had the turkey French dip Sunday and my friend had the short rib potstickers. We were so pleased we came back two days later for a light lunch. I had the Truffle Brie Toast with honey, toasted pine nuts and slivers of prosciutto de parma. OMG! I ate half of it before I decided to take a photo. The service was prompt, server was pleasant with being bothersome and the manager was gracious and seemed sincerely interested in our sharing our dining experience with him. I tried out a Beverly Hills Club, a pushing daises (matcha with orange), and a croissant bread pudding. The club as serviceable and the fries were standard. The pushing daises drink was absolutely delicious even though I couldn't taste any orange in it. The croissant bread pudding was just okay but it was nice that they give you a bunch of it. I just want to say thank you so much to the two hostesses who helped me out tonight. I accidentally had two different meetings going and ended up having to seat my husband at the bar for a third tab (don't worry yelpers, we took care of everyone lol), and they helped facilitate close outs and got us into a lower table because of my friend's back. The servers were all friendly and accommodating and we ended up having great meetings and great bites. It's easy for staff to brush you off or act like your mistakes and problems aren't theirs, but when people show kindness and help, believe me, you really do remember. The French dip was a bit different, their horseradish really made the sandwich. The turkey was fresh and juicy and the dip was tasty. The $29 single crab cake was almost all crab with very little filler. It had a good taste and came with a small side of arugula salad. The service and food were all good, the restaurant itself had lots of booths, tables, and half booths. I just found it a tad pricey for weekday lunch. read more

I have been to this location several times for brunch but decided to swing by this evening for dinner. The space was decorated beautifully with Christmas decor! They had just started their new holiday cocktail menu, the Spiced Pear Cosmopolitan is a must have, very delicious. The American burger and Braised Short Ribs had tender and flavorful meat, both cooked perfectly. The fries were simple but extremely tasty, very classic French fries, which hit the spot! Once we finished eating they surprised us with a huge but light chocolate pie. Great proportions of whipped topping and chocolate! The server Bree was very attentive and kind. I attended the grand opening I was seated with a reservation from a friend. The ambiance was great, they had indoor and outdoor seating, it was sprinkling that day and it was a little chilly outside, but they had a fire place and overhead heaters which made it comfortable. The hostess (Ella) and management graciously accommodated our late request to add one to the reservation and every staff member we interacted with was helpful; they really elevated the experience. We went in for lunch today. The service was literally the worst I have ever had. We go out to eat daily and have worked in restaurant management. I will say the food would have been excellent if the service was not awful. We asked for a manager who was very pleasant. While he was talking with us two tables of strangers said, "we thought it was only happening to us"! I talked to my aunt on our drive home. She said she has been 4-5 times and had horrible service every time. I have no idea why anyone would give that many chances. We will absolutely not go back. The Henry was chosen for this months Book Club location. Centrally located and ample parking. We had reservations, but even at 11am on a Saturday it wasn't too busy. The ambiance is upscale, dark woods, drapes and large comfortable seating. We started with the Spicy Tuna & Crispy Rice and Smoked Salmon & Caviar. Both were delicious but if you had to choose one always go with the Caviar ;) For my main entree I choose the Roasted Turkey French Dip which had horseradish aioli, havarti, garlic parmesan roll, natural jus. Honestly, with me you can't go wrong with a turkey sandwich so it was a safe choice. It was good but I definitely got out brunched by others at the table who had the Huevos Rancheros Enchiladas and the Egg White Turkey Omelette. Everyone raved about their food and despite the to-go boxes somehow we ended up with the Lemon Olive Oil Cake which had the most delicious blueberry compote. We recently moved to the neighborhood but have been to this location many times during our renovation. We are always greeted with a genuine smile and "welcome back, it's great to see you". We've had several great servers, but Vinny and Danielle always hit it out of the park. This afternoon they accommodated our party of 5 plus a dog and did absolutely everything to ensure we had a great experience. Vinny is a pleasure and he is one of the reasons we keep coming back. We came in and were seated on the patio. Although it was over 110 degrees outside, the misters kept it cool. We order scallops but they were out so we got the short ribs and the Japanese sweat potatoes. The short ribs were good, but the Japanese Sweet Potatoes were amazing. The service was very good, especially for it being Father's Day. I think it may miss the mark a little for the 5th star though because it was what is expected but not quite above and beyond. Was excited to try the second location and loved how it has slightly a different vibe than the first. Crazy how a different color can do that! We went in the morning and got coffee and avocado toast with salmon and an over easy egg. It was nice to have open seating (unknown if it is always like this). I loved this location because it was quieter and not as crazy in the morning. There is a coffee area to the right where you can order coffee or food and then sit or take it to go. I got an oat milk latte and it was smooth and creamy each time! Overall, I would come here again. It's not as immersive as the original, you do still feel like you are in Arizona. I really like the Henry. The wide open space and ambience are bright and fun, without being too loud. The restaurant is upscale, but not pretentious. Service is always amazing. The food is always great, but the menu is extremely limited. Eat there a dozen times, there's nothing new left to try. I recommend the restaurant, but be sure to view the menu ahead of time for something you like. One point of contention on my last visit, I asked for a booth for a party of 3 when I reserved the table. Arrived, no booth for us. I refused the table, and pointed out I had specified a booth. Hostess said 30 minutes. What about the 3 empty booths I see? Those are reserved. Um, I reserved a booth. Well, we try to accommodate requests, but the booths are for parties of 6. I see several parties of three or four, seated in booths. She shrugged and said I'd have to wait. A manager intervened, and offered a half booth (not what I wanted or reserved). Came in for a celebratory graduation dinner for my girlfriend. There were 6 of us , and we all thoroughly enjoyed the food and service. Our waiter brought complementary champagne for a toast, and allowed us some private time to make our speeches, give gifts, etc. , which was very nice. We then ordered our food and drinks and everything came out perfect and delicious. They allowed us to bring a cake, which they stored. When it was time for dessert, they added a candle and presented the cake so that we could take photos, before they sliced it and served it to us. They even stored my girlfriend's vase of flowers so that we didn't have to eat with them on the table. Service was great, food was great, i would definitely come back to this location.
