Had breakfast today, used to be Sammys, it was well appointed and comfortable. Ordered the classic breakfast, two eggs, bacon and sourdough toast. The breakfast came with two half pieces of bacon, very thin, like the ready cooked bacon for microwaves. Breakfast had one small slice of toast, about four inches cut in two, no butter, had a small portion of country fried potato's. The eggs were cooked as requested. We ask for another piece of toast and we're charged for a side of toast. Waitress was very nice. Do not go to this restaurant. Breakfast was $16.00 plus $3.00 for another piece of toast. read more

My wife ordered the shrimp and lobster sauce pasta, less than an hour later it all came back up, I had tasted it it was not good. That has to be the worst dish we have ever ordered from any restaurant, did not even give us bread or toast to wash it down with. This is the second time we stopped at The Hideout to eat. The food was delicious and most importantly consistent between both visits. We had the avocado fries which were very light and not greasy. My wife had a chicken salad which was very flavorful and fresh. I had a burger and it was delicious and not greasy as well. The food was great the ambience was beautiful. We sat outside and had a view of the sun setting over the mountains. Ani, Jacob and Bella were all very friendly and provided great service all around. We will definitely return! read more

I love love this place! The friendliness and service are superb! The drink I indulged in (the hideout) was up to par. I coupled this wonderful drink with The Hideout burger and fries. I'm 68 years old and I've never experienced a burger this good. The flavor and juiciness is delicious. The fries were piping hot and wonderful. The chef is tops on my list. I've lived and been abroad and eaten numerous places on my journey. This is on my list to enjoy again soon. It will be a regular for me. Good job Hideout! read more

My best friend, and I were excited to try a new place for breakfast. We sat down and had to wait quite a while for water. We both ordered regular coffee and eggs, bacon with sourdough toast. The eggs came out cold, the bacon was cold and not cooked enough. We asked if they could take it back and cook the bacon a little bit longer. Our plates both came out with all the food overheated -they put the entire plate in the microwave because plates came out two minutes later and literally both plates were ruined! Our server did not ask if we wanted more coffee and then brought us the check without even asking why our plates were still full of food - Not concerned that we didn't eat our food. We wanted to complain so much, but we determined that we would never be eating there ever again! Both service and food were disappointing! Sad because breakfast was pricey as well. read more

Our server was wonderful. The food was just average, but the bartender was horrible to my 88 year-old mother. She just wanted to watch her college team play in the NCAA tournament. He turned off her game in the middle of it because some man at the bar wanted to watch another game. Ok, but when she asked him to turn her game back on, he led the people at the bar in a fun game of let's laugh and make fun of the little, old, white-haired lady. Real nice. Real cool. Our server Joran was excellent. She is one of the best service humans in this valley. The food was very good, service was excellent. The Kitchen even suggested another dish for my wife as her selection was not well received by other customers. Where does that ever happen ? I cant say enough good things about the Hideout. Made a reservation. This place is in an expensive outdoor mall. Looked promising. We arrived and the hostess walked us all the way past a slew of empty tables and sat us right next to the kitchen. It smell the industrial cleaner at our table. We were right next to the kitchen. It took us an hour and a half to get to the restaurant (don't ask). The menu on the website isn't the menu offered. Just a portion of the full menu. The atmosphere was like a cheap diner. The bench seats were dirty. The furnishing left over from previous restaurant, plastic wicker chairs, plastic wood tables. Because they closed in 20 minutes, the staff is loud, as if they thought the restaurant was closed and it's time to blow off steam. This all before we even got our food. My husband ordered a bbq chicken pizza. He said it was sweet and the crust was hard. I was going to get fish and chips but it wasn't on the actual menu. It was on the website menu. Anyway I ordered a burger and fries. Presentation was nice but then I cut my medium burger open and it was raw hamburger. The only thing that was liked was my husband's beer. When I showed the waiter, Jeffrey my burger, he made a face and promptly got my meal comped. He said " that's not right"' referring to my raw burger. I had ordered a medium burger. It wasn't even warm in the middle. Our poor waiter was so apologetic. We definitely WONT be back. read more

This place is terrible. Staff is racist. Manager is BEYOND unprofessional. I dined there once(while pregnant) I let the cook know (Chris) PERSONALLY I was pregnant and he STILL served me not one but TWO undercooked burgers. We waited well over 15 min to be greeted by a server. In fact we had to flag down someone and ask for help and they said they didn't know where our server is. The staff and management totally ignored us. We were there at 4pm and it wasn't at all busy. A couple came and left cause they weren't help in a proper amount of time. It seemed as if the hostess wasn't communicating to the servers that they have a new table. Although, my dish was very good I had the lasagna. Went for the first time a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it. Pizzas are great, personally loved the Margarita. I also tried the hideout burger and it had to be one of the best burgers I ever had. My server Sara was extremely helpful and attentive. She constantly came to check on our table and made sure everything was to our liking. The service was wonderful & the food was delicious! We got the buttery Marinara prob the best pasta I've had & the bbq wings which they make there own bbq sauce and the meat falls right off the bone. My wife and I visited The Hideout Sunday afternoon for brunch, and we were thoroughly underwhelmed by the food and service. In fact, at this price point, we were both shocked by how subpar everything was. The server couldn't answer any of our questions regarding the food menu or wine list, our specialty cocktails were very bad and the food was cold; it is the first time we have experienced extreme dissatisfaction at a restaurant in this area. The Hideout is in a prime location near some high end shops, but the food and service were very low end, to the point where we both wondered how a restaurant could be managed so poorly. Whoever is running this place better act quickly and train the staff, because our experience was totally unacceptable, and we will not be back. read more

Friends invited us to meet them at the restaurant. They got there at 4:15 and put there name in for a table of 4. we met them just before 5:00 in the bar waiting for a table. At 5:30 my friend went to check on the table and were told it would be another 30 minutes due to a computer issue. They had so many empty tables both in and outside and we were told they had reservations and could not accommodate us. The restaurant never had reservations and they never got busy inside the restaurant. The bartender over heard us and had to have someone seat us. we were sat at a filthy table and waited 10 minutes before anyone came to clean it. The food was cold and tasted horrible. Two burgers a pizza and salad. The pizza was cold and burgers were awful. No one came to clear plates and the service was terrible. We will not be back and we are full time residents in the area. read more

Came here for brunch. Lovely location, food was good. Service was friendly however, we were never checked on. Wanted to order drinks, waiter never came back to see if the food was okay, see if we wanted anything else, etc. We both wanted a mimosa and a beer but wasn't not able to ever order. I know they are newly opened so hopefully service will improve. read more
