I came for the "Bar Bites" (appetizers) and wasn't impressed. Chicken wings too crispy and one was a little deformed and not-right-looking. The loaded tots were were a little under cooked and still cool in center, and too much sauce made them soggy. Flavor on Caesar salad was missing, not flavorful or memorable. Not a high quality or fresh dining experience. I did not order any drinks so can't speak to the quality of the alcohol. I was looking forward to having a new dinner place in Natomas. I was very disappointed. The place looked nice and clean, but it was a bit cramped and the music was a bit too loud. While the ingredients seemed fresh, the food I had was almost aggressively bland. It didn't taste like they seasoned anything. It was just okay. I had the hub salad and and black bean tacos. I appreciate the effort of having a vegetarian option or two, but I didn't eat more than a few bites. The people with me had the same experience with their chicken wings. They had Thai spice and lemon pepper chicken wings, and weren't impressed either. I am unlikely to eat there again. read more

Not good at all. I give the one star for the design /atmosphere, but unfortunately, I come to restaurants for the food. It was pretty bad. I am never one to bash someone, but I think the reviews that say this place is soooo great made me do it, because there is NO WAY we went to the same place. Any place selling Burgers and drinks must AT LEAST make a average burger. They are not here. I never knew you could dry a burger out that bad. There is a burger place next door that makes them 10x's better and they are average themselves. The pork fries/tots came out with 3/4 inch raw onions on them, shredded cheddar cheese that was just tossed on top (not melted or cheese sauce), huge green onions and 4 peices or pork. Sadly our first and probably last time visiting. Service was awful. Took too long to get menus and had to ask a few times for waters. Finally got menus and placed our drink and food order quickly in fear that we wouldn't see a server come by again. Close to 10 minutes we got the drinks we ordered, still no water. We had asked for refills and eventually had to go to the bar for refills. Food actually didnt take that long and was decent. Overpriced for what it was. It's a seat yourself at a clean table kind of place and we watched 4 different groups walk in wait for clean tables and leave. No bussers, servers seemed overwhelmed and no one seemed to be in charge. For a Friday night, only a few weeks open you would think there would be an owner or manager available or present to make sure all was going well but clearly they dont care enough. read more

Greeted & sat promptly, the atmosphere was great had a BJs vibe with way better service. Lee went over menu and all special then Karina took over for the orders, she had great recommendations for first timers and was a wonderful server. Not the worst place to get a burger... But also not the best. Definitely wouldn't recommend the tots, they were very dry and unseasoned. I did like both of the burgers, The Heights and Del Paso. Beers were really flat but we were probably just unlucky that night. The servers were very welcoming so that was a big plus. Waitress was not friendly. Whenever I asked one question which was for silverware, she asked if I actually was going to use them. Thats kind of an idiotic question. I really like this spot especially since they have great happy hour and it's close to my place. This review is solely on the experience I had going in today. It's Friday during happy hour so I knew it was going to be busy. Luckily we got the last table right next to the door. Our server was really nice. We ordered our beers and decided to get calamari because it was pretty good the first time we ordered it. The lady who brought us our calamari was NOT our server. She's pretty tall so if you've been here before then you know who I'm talking about. Anyway, the first thing I noticed about our calamari is that it smelled so bad. It smelled like dried up fish that's been sitting in the sun. Not even exaggerating, it was so fishy smelling. I asked her why it smelled like that. She was like it's calamari. I told her we've ordered it before and it never smelled like that. She said again it's calamari. No shit. I know what calamari is, I've ordered it plenty of times in my life and NO calamari does NOT smell like that. It was embarrassing as there was a lot of people waiting near the door too. I'm not one to really post bad reviews but obviously she doesn't know a damn thing about calamari!! Take it from someone who's actually been squidding before! Finally decided to try this place after driving past it so many times. Wife and I placed a to go order, picked it up and got it to the table less than 5 mins from pickup. The wings were cold and pretty lame, the jalapeño burger was a solid 4/10 at best, the fries were cold and soggy, along with the tots that came with the burger. We wanted to try the cheesecake they sell, it I could've used it as a frozen hockey puck. Food was a solid 3/10. I had a better time watching my frozen cheesecake bounce off the table. read more

Great hidden neighborhood pub and restaurant. It's nice non chain restaurant for Natomas. Feels like you're in midtown and not Natomas. The food is consistently good, never been disappointed. Food was ok, the burger "stuffed with cheese" is definitely not stuffed. My main complaint is the server. She lacked any affect and seemed miserable. She was cold when we asked a question and lacked customer service. I noticed other tables being irritated when she walked away too. For a new restaurant, trying to get established, you'd think your servers would be overly focused on the customer's experience. Not here, or at least not this server. I will go 3 stars over all so far. 2 stars for door dash. Eating at the restaurant is the best experience obviously. Ordering through door dash has been a heavily declining experience. The most recent (2/3 bad try's before I stop eating at a place) I mean I had a burger SOAKED in all the condiments with bacon so undercooked I had to microwave it. They had recently gone through a menu change and changed some old stuff to for the worse. French fries are different and raw So that was gross. A lot of Natomas eatery's go down hill and I don't know why. As I said go on in and try it out because it has been so good, but I haven't been in awhile. The door dash is now consistently underwhelming to be polite. read more

The Hub is a great place to eat with friends and family. The atmosphere is casual and fun. There is a bar is a fun place to sit at and watch sports. The beer and wine selection is good, too! We ordered appetizers (wings and spicy cauliflower), which came quickly and were delicious. For our main dishes, we ordered chicken tacos, pizza, and a veggie burger. The servings were generous, the food hot, and the flavor was a nice blend of spices. Everything tasted fresh and made to order. The server was good and checked on us often.
