Our go to tea place in Santa Clara for a late night tea with Maggi. It's almost always busy and carries a nice vibe, with plenty of covered seating, and board games including jenga and carrom. Our favorites include the Spicy Masala Maggi - the heat on a hot plate of Maggi in the cold is really nice - and the Veggie Cheese Sandwich. One evening when we arrived the place was closed to an event, but the owner / staff helped us with sandwich and tea at an off lot, even though he did not need to. Aloo filling in the sandwich didn't have any salt which made sandwich very bland and boring, filling was generous. Was craving Maggie and this place did not disappointment at all ! They had all the flavours of Maggie you can imagine. From old school days. The corn maggi is yummy and hot, we dined there using their mismatched outdoor patio furniture. It was cold, so be prepared with warm clothes if it's chilly outside. Ketli Chai is a cute food truck near San Tomas and el camino real intersection. It only has outdoor seating, so please go when it's not super windy, else you might need to sit in the car. It has two carom boards, jenga sets and playing cards and some string lights as well. Nice spot to hangout with friends at night. We decided to try out this place for an evening chai time. This food truck is near the main road on El Camino. We ordered one bun muska , one ginger chai, one ketli chai and one tandoori sev bun muska. We placed the order and was given a buzzer. Before the food arrived, we played some carom board and had meaningful conversations. The food took around 15 minutes to be ready. While the bun muska was really tasty , I think the chai can be improved especially cause they charge between $4-$5 for street food chai. We thought the price point was steep. I had seen this place on social media multiple times and finally got to try it!! They have a lot of options for maggi, sandwiches, chai, sweets and surprised they make all of it in a food truck!! We got the ketli maggi which was spicier than expected but very flavorful!! We also got the paneer tandoori sandwich which was yum and will definitely be coming back again just for that! We got the masala chai which was great, ginger chai which was definitely gingery and great for your throat, and hot chocolate which was nice and decadent!! I had been waiting for so long to try this spot! finally had a chance this week and it did not disappoint. This place was hyped up so much on social media and it does live up to it! The bun maska was amazing!! I also tried the aloo bun and veggie cheese sandwich which were really good. I went with my mom and she takes a jain diet so they were able to customize the veg sandwich per jain diet restrictions which was really nice! Fun little place for a quick chai & snacks stop! We had their signature Ketli chai which had saffron & tasted sooo gooood! Elaichi ginger chai was pretty good too but I'd definitely skip their lemon ginger one cause it was just ginger pieces with lemon tea bag dipped in water :/ The highlight of our meal was definitely bun maska with sweet malai slathered in between the pieces, yummmyyy! Unpretentious place but you have to give it up for the Tesla owners who come flocking to this food truck place where parking is minimal. Good variety of chais but doesn't pack a punch with the flavor. If you like your chai to be moderately strong with sweetness, you might need to call that out. Forgot to take pictures here. We had been once to the food truck after looking at Insta reel on Friday evening. They had a huge line and were not able to manage the number of ppl. So finally gave up that day and went somewhere else Finally got a chance to try this place at their food truck in Durga pujo pandal. Tried the veg tandoori sandwich which was really yummy as they had good amount of cheese in it and spices were just right. My friend got a ketli maggi which was good quantity and tasty too. Ordered: 1) Ginger elachi chai - ok 2) Ketli chai - way too much Moti elachi taste and kadak. 3) Paneer sandwich: no butter on the outside of the bread so it was very hard and dry on the outside. Service is good and fast. nothing to say about ambience at this point as it's a truck. it seems like they lost access to the neighbors parking lot and so parking has got a little hairy. people park as the lines are marked but it makes it hard to park and get out. This place is so convenient and right off El Camino Real. The parking lot was not all that packed at 8 pm. The ketli maggi was so so tasty, but if you can't handle spice, this may not be for you. If you are looking for an upscale dining experience this place is not for you. If you want to enjoy simple tea, maggi and memories of "purani jeans aur guitar" at mid night this is your go to place. It has become my new favorite place and have tried their Saffron chai, Elaichi/Ginger chai, Masala Maggi, Ketli Maggi, Ketli Sandwich, bun maska and bun aloo. We ordered several Tandoori Paneer sandwiches, Kettle Maggi, Chocolate Coffee, Bun Maska, and Dalgona Coffee for our big group. The bun maska has some unneccessary addition of sweetness. The sandwich and maggi on the menu should have 2 red chili images beside them, it's that spicy. The chocolate coffee on the menu should have 10 sugar cube images beside it, it's that sweet.
