It could've been done a lot better. It was not up to crispy crunch and juicy standards of let's say Tumble22. I was excited to try a small food truck that was just outside some store I was stopping by. I liked the cashier's easy going vibe and loved that they were able to take the next person's vague order of "chicken and a bunch of spices" in stride. Their menu, albeit full of personality, was a bit hard to parse with all the emojis. Food itself: the fry was a bit too hard even though I ate it fresh in my car (was freezing out). First of all, these are hands-down, the best wings we've had in Austin- and we've been through a lot of wings. The gumbo and the red beans and rice were incredible as well! Most, notably, however, is the service... There was some complication with our delivery, which I really believe was the fault of the delivery service, not the Potluck. Ron went out of his way to make sure that we got our food, and even threw in a ton of extras, since it was going to be late . This place is worth the price! I got an order of 6 wings. The dynamite and the new "Crack" wings! Service was absolutely top TIER!!! I enjoyed the customer service and hospitality of this place. I also wanted the lobster Mac & cheese but unfortunately they were sold out. The owner recommended the Gumbo! The vibes are immaculate, perfect r&b blasting for a Sunday afternoon, reminded me of my mom cooking chicken on a weekend. Context: fried wings went from being a childhood favorite food, to my adulthood food adventure mission. Before I left Brooklyn, NY I made it a mission to try every wing spot and rated them. We went here because my son loves wings. Never again. There website states that Wednesday is $.75 wing day. We ordered our wings and realized that the girl did not charge the right price. I went back and asked her and she said that I had to ask for the special or I didn't get it!!! What is this? She refused to credit back the difference. On top of this, halfway through my wings, I noticed they started tasting like soap. That means I've thing... they aren't cooked. Too late though. I've been sick all afternoon.
