Today I visited The Press for the first time after a long hike on Brushy Peak Trail. Although very busy this place ran very smoothly and efficiently. We stopped here on our way to a soccer game and got sandwiches and coffee. All the girls were happy with their choices. Came here earlier today and our party of eight had a light breakfast before wine tasting. I ordered the mozzarella Basil sandwich and it was pretty great. Even the iced coffee my husband ordered for me was good too. It was kinda crowded, but waiting to get our food and drinks didn't take long. Very pleased with the service too. Such a wonderful cafe! I saw the avocado toast pictures posted when I looked up a breakfast spot and obviously had to come! My husband ordered the brunch special, Madame Croque. Not only beautiful but delicious! I ordered half Nordic Toastini & half Avocado, Goat Cheese and Citrus Toastini. Both very tasty but the citrus with avo & goat cheese was a wonderful surprise! I can't say enough wonderful things about The Press!. After not seeing a friend of mine since March 2020, we finally had a chance to meet her for lunch, today, 11/19/21. Talk about needing to catch up! Anyway, she lives in Livermore and had been wanting to come here for a while so we found ourselves here for an early lunch. First of all, the staff is lovely-everyone I interacted with from the ordering process to bringing the food out to the team busing the tables, everyone was super friendly and sweet natured. It made the overall experience even better. Their paninis come with a side salad or soup, making it an incredible deal. I got a simple mozzarella tomato panini and their seasonal autumn squash soup. The soup was a bit sweet but I actually like it that way and the cheese and tomato were super fresh with just the right amount of pesto and arugula to compliment it. I also splurged on their Carmel Apple cider latte. It's also seasonal and was just the perfect amount of spicy and sweet. My friend and I can't stop talking about how wonderful that latte was! It's a combo of communal and single seating tables with also a few out on the sidewalk. It's a bit loud and bustling but since we got there prior to the lunch rush. I am forever indebted to this place because they've introduced me to my new favorite sandwich addiction: egg salad with black olives. I love egg salad. I love black olives. How have I never put the two together? And let me tell you, they do egg salad the right way (well, in my opinion). Eggs, Mayo, seasoning. None of that onion or relish stuff. The black olives really amp it up. It's worth nothing that while I do make this at hone now, I can't replicate their beautiful layering and boxing. But we found some parking across the street in a parking lot. There was a small line before we got to order. I ordered a oat milk latte and a avocado toast. The latte was really good! It was not too bitter and had a smooth taste to it. The avocado was my favorite! It was very flavorful with the seasoning on top. I stopped in here for a coffee and a light meal and ended up with the avocado toast that is laid on top of goat cheese with slices of oranges drizzled with honey and it was fresh and yummy and healthy and I was surprised. This is about my fourth time ordering from this place, I've never been in person (but my bf has plenty) and I'm always impressed by the quality of their meals when delivered. This was my first time trying the press and I looked up what I wanted before I got there and I'm glad I did. It's a super cute coffee shop vibe but it has a fast pace to it so I would suggest knowing what you want before getting in line. I ordered a avocado toast with egg and a graham cracker latte. The avocado toast was very delicious but I wasn't a fan of the radish I believe that they put on it, but it was easy to take off. It has some type of citrus dressing on it that made it very good. I think they toasted the toast a little too much though because it was really hard to bite. As for the latte, I thought it came cold because that's what I saw online but realized that I got it hot (my fault for not specifying). I thought it had a really good flavor but would have preferred it cold. I decided to take my order to go and waited by the pick up area. It's a very small area and there isn't much room to stand. I felt like other customers were asking me to move all over. I think a better location for the pickup area would be the far corner so that customers who are taking their food to go aren't in the way. read more

I recently visited for the first time on a Sunday morning at around 10:30am for brunch since the Dublin location that I frequent is closed on Sunday. The outdoor and indoor dining tables were pretty filled, and the line to order was long, but the employees worked fast to clear tables and take orders, so we were able to order and get seated outside within ten minutes of arriving. The line definitely got longer and the seats were still filled during my time there, so it's safe to say they're very busy on Sunday mornings. The menu consists of toastinis, paninis, and various breakfast items along with added specials for weekend brunch and reads a lot like the menu at The Press in Dublin. My table ended up ordering the strawberry caprese toastini, french toast, iced honey mint matcha latte, and iced chai latte. The portion sizes weren't large, but we both finished the meal satisfied, thought the prices were reasonable, and thoroughly enjoyed the food. The food and drinks alone would get a 5/5 from me because the menu is creative and offers fresh ingredients. I look forward to the next time I get to visit to try more of the menu! read more

This is one of our daughter's favorite breakfast places. We ordered parfaits, bacon wrapped cheese twists, lemon and strawberry mochi donuts and many cappuccinos. Here is what I had: Avocado + egg toastini with added crumbled bacon: so usually, I have to add some lemon or salt to get that special flavor, but this, oh my, they nailed it. All the flavors you need, all there. The only thing missing is spice, which you can add for yourself. The bread is not too thick or hard and yup, you guessed it everything is fresh. Tomato soup: I am always picky about my tomato soup, sometimes its too runny, or too thick, or bland and needs more flavor, but this one was perfect. You can tell it was freshly made there and it was amazing! It also comes with a couple of slices of toast which was perfect. I washed it down with their homemade lemonade....perfectly sour and sweet. However, service was mostly good and we received our order quickly. I had the morning rise sammie and a hot latte. The sandwich was beautifully plated but a bit dry and unexpectedly sweet due to the tomato jam. Maybe I didn't read the description clearly enough but I just wasn't feeling the sweetness in the breakfast sandwich. My companion ordered a sandwich/salad but picked at her food as well. However, the drinks were made very nicely; correct temperature and taste. Not sure if I would frequent this location again however, I would like to try the Pleasanton restaurant. Curiously, the prices for the Pleasanton location (according to the online menu) is lower than this store. They must charge extra due to the rent in the downtown location. read more
