We heard nothing but good things about this eatery so me and my family decided to take a drive to check them out and we drove from LA so needless to say I was hoping it was worth the drive and I must say they did not disappoint. I was pleasantly impressed with the hospitality the staff gave and the food was amazing. I am a plant based eater, so I was very pleased with the options that was on the menu even if it wasn't "vegan" I was able to modify my food. The manager was so nice that he made sure that our food was prepared to perfection. The flavor of the food was so good and the presentation you can tell was made with care. The pricing was great as well. The music wasn't too loud, but just enough and the game was on the TVs so it was an enjoyable time until I saw a guy with a MAGA cap on and almost lost my appetite, but that didn't stop me lol. On vacation and stayed at a nearby hotel. Yelp brought us to this establishment. My son wanted to try the burger. I wasn't craving a burger so I got the steak salad. It was good, however the salad was not proportionated well. Lots of veggies and had very little meat. I was still hungry and didn't finish all the greens. The Furikake has wasabi, so it's spicy! I asked for it on the side in case I wanted to sprinkle it on. The sweet potato fries were good. My sons burger looked small. For the price you'd think the patty would be much bigger. This was the first time I've been here and I must say I'm pleasantly impressed. First off the customer service was excellent, the cashier was friendly and helpful with our orders. This may sound silly but something that stood out to me was that they had chip samples and complimentary pickles lol (I love pickles). The woman who gave us our order was also very nice and attentive. The food was very good and tasted freshly made. We ordered a side of onion rings and those were delicious. Overall, our experience was positive especially given that we were just coming from my son's soccer game and were extremely hungry (we were a bit grouchy lol) but the friendly and quick service satisfied us. I LOVE coming to The Stand. My food was so good and I was so excited that my phone totally did not eat first and I forgot to take pictures. I love the setup here of ordering at the counter and the food coming to you. It is very kid friendly which is great for me as I have two kids. They have food for everyone ranging from chicken sandwiches to hamburgers, to hot dogs and more. Don't forget about the salads, those are also very good if you want to be on the healthier side. I am a mushroom lover so I usually go with the Shroom Burger which comes with Havarti cheese. The two mix wonderful together. My second favorite thing is the milkshakes! Makes for the perfect treat. This was our first visit to The Stand, overall the experience was good, the place was clean, they had plenty of seating inside and outside. The selection was pretty good as well. My wife chose to get a hot dog with various toppings that she said were all really good together, my son got The Onion Stack burger and I got the Big Blue. My son thought the burger was good, not the best he ever had but it was a good burger. I thought the same of my burger except I should have paid more attention to the ingredients because it had BBQ sauce and bleu cheese, both of these things together was not good because the BBQ sauce overpowered any flavor of the cheese. In addition there was a LOT of arugula on it, more than necessary. I am not faulting The Stand for my choice, but again it was good, not the best so I have to give four stars for the meal as it was good not great. Been a while since my last visit. Some things have changed here. Came in at noon on a Wednesday to place a lunch order to go. Ordered my usual tuna melt with cheddar and potato chips. Tuna melt is very different from how it was originally when I first tried it. It's now cut differently, includes greens which it didn't before, and is significantly smaller. The chips were also a bit stale. Total price was $16.50. If you read my ordinal review from 7 years ago the prices are much higher. I get inflation has to be considered but cmon. I'm sure the major corporate chain restaurants can make prices lower for their customers but didn't expect them to do that in a capitalist market place. It's always profits over people. read more

My boyfriend also ordered the BBQ brisket sandwich on the pretzel roll which he also said was really good but the short rib grilled cheese beats it by a mile. The chili cheese fries, also bomb. Ill just say the burgers here are better than most I've had in terms of quality of meat and the way its put together. The flavor is undeniable. The double burger is my fav. The fries are hot and seasoned. I use the fire sauce ad ranch and its all the way up. The Teriyaki chicken bowl!!! is excellent all the different flavors mix so well with the teriyaki add some fire sauce lol. I'm difficult to please cause I love food.
