The quality of drinks here are like no other. Everything is so fresh and doesn't compare to other tea spots that use powder and syrup. Service is excellent. I come here all the time and usually there aren't mistakes with my order, but this time they forgot to add sago on both my drinks. I still went back the next day since I was craving it. They forgot the sago again. I had the opportunity to share with the owner what happened on both occasions. I made it clear that I was not trying to complain, I simply wanted to point it out as a learning for the staff. He quickly made me another drink and also remade the drinks from the other day. This is going above and beyond. I did not expect to get replacement drinks, but I totally appreciate the effort and quality of food and service. This is what keeps the customers coming back. Aesthetically pleasing but very mediocrely tasting. I'm disappointed that I expended my weekly boba milk tea for this the TEA is a new tearoom that opened a few week ago promising "drinks made to delight and surprise." After lunch, my friend and I tried their signature drink, No.18 Golden Mellow Milk Tea with brown sugar boba. We ordered around 2pm and didn't get our drink until ~20 minutes later. Tea taste was lacking and the drink felt watered down (maybe why it's called mellow tea? ). Boba-wise, texture was soft, chewy, and drenched in brown sugar syrup (boba was warm so I guess they had just cooked it, hence the long wait time). Value-wise, this place is pretty standard with a $5.50 (base) + $0.75 (topping) + optional $1.00 (fresh milk) for those who like tea lattes. Considering this is the first drink on their signature list, I was not impressed. I will have to say the layout of the shop is very unique. Upon walking in, you are met with the short end of the island to order. On the long ends are glass panels that allow you to observe the baristas slowly making your drink. There are a few tables in the front of the shop if you're a serial cafe hopper. I don't know if they have wifi but it's pretty quiet inside as people patiently wait for their drinks. Service-wise, I expected more from a new shop trying to make a name in the already congested drink market especially here in the 626. The cashier wasn't really friendly and didn't introduce any of their drink or offer samples (Try Odd One Out on Sawtelle if you want to experience top-notch service, plus they're the winner of the 2022 Milk Tea Festival in Taiwan!). Parking is decent as there's only a few spots out front and a lot of construction in the area currently. You can always park in the residential area and walk over. Overall, I would try this place one more time for their fruit teas before knocking it off my list. read more

This place has decent drinks. The toasted oreo milk was a bit underwhelming,, just crushed oreos in milk. Tieguanyin milk tea was pretty good! But I feel like they need to train their workers more,, we ordered first before other people, but everyone who ordered after us got their drinks first. Another customer brought it up to the worker, and she admitted it was her fault she didn't realize they were out of sea salt and she didn't tell the other workers, so they had to make more. Once the worker realized they were out, I feel like they should have let us know or give us an option to not have sea salt in the toasted oreo milk. read more

Checked this spot out on a Saturday and it was quite busy and was a bit of a wait. With that being said the drinks are pretty solid. Had the Oreo milk tea and I must say it was pretty good but the actual milk tea was on the sweeter side so I'd recommend maybe adjusting the sugar level to about 50 percent. Staff is friendly and attentive. Place seemed pretty clean with plenty of standing and sitting room. I would recommend giving this place a try if you like Oreos or milk tea in general. read more

After drinking the tea for a while, I got use to the aftertaste but I would see what the tea base it before ordering it. The Tea is my family's to go. My parents don't love sweets, but they genuinely crave and reminisce about this drink. I will often go to the Tea just to order 4 cocomangos. If I need a pick me up, I will opt for the matcha- which is extremely caffeinated and has kept me up when I needed it. Thankfully, they had a promo that incentivized me more than ever to come by (buy 3 get 1 free). As much as I love the indoor setting, I don't see a lot of people staying and studying- which is something I would've done if I was in school. Just people catching up and sitting down to wait. So this is more so you're grab and go boba shop. I'm glad to see that the parking lot was finally completed and it is not a dreaded one way. Although, there is a couple more things to fix for it to be complete. The service here has always been great. There have been times where the register seems to malfunction and causes a delay; no fault of the workers of course. I will say, something super small, but the times I've been here the workers seem quite sad. Which is super valid. This place is extremely busy and the kitchen is pretty small. The menu is intricate and requires a lot of moving and maneuvering in a small space. The drinks are decent, but the service is terrible. I went to pick up the order I placed online. The girl who finished taking the order from people in front of me saw me standing there, I was looking at her and trying to tell her I'm picking up my order. But she ignored me. I have trained myself to ignore bad service from business so I didn't get furious. After standing there for a couple minutes, I decided to go ask other girls in that working counter where to pick up my order. Yes, they have several people working there but none of them tell you order pick up is in the back of the store. The store was not busy, they clearly saw me standing there. Do you want fresh drinks served by friendly staff? The Tea is the place to be. The drinks are so awesome. We frequent The Tea 2-3 times a week. Their matcha drinks are pure perfection. My favorite is the Genmai with Highland Barley boba. The Nutella Avocado shake is so good. I do not like avocado shakes, but this one is out of this world good. The Sesame Blended is very fragrant and another favorite. The Peach Momo is a great addition this summer. Every drink we have tried has been so good that I have a difficult time choosing one each time we go. This has quickly become a favorite of ours the drinks are very flavorful and tasty but we are hesitant to return and I can't give them a full on 5 because the drinks just take so darn LONG to get. Last week when we were here, it took over 15 minutes because they forgot one of our drinks. . There is no person identified to help push the orders through, there are several people in their island working and doing things but seems like everyone is in their own space. There was also a spill that wasn't dried up well and when I mentioned it to them, they mentioned there was a spill. I had to make sure my son wouldn't slip running over that area, my 4 year old son ran around their island over 10 times and we still didn't have our drinks. Finally got to try to new tea place in mpk! The parking eight in front is small so I parked in the next building over where the parking structure is. I ordered the mango Pomelo sago with little sugar. I like the drink and I think the sweetness is on point. The only thing about the drink that tastes off to me is that it has a very powdery taste. I have tried a lot of mango pomelo drinks from different stores and for some reason this one has more of a powder taste. That was the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. Staff is friendly and I can tell they are short staffed especially for a new tea house and they do get busy. The inside of the store is very simple and to the point. I ordered an OG Latte (cause Vietnamese coffee is potent) and let me tell you-- this coffee is delicious and it wakes you up. Just be prepared to wait a while (I get it though, they're new and still figuring things out!) Ive been here a couple of times as it's a refreshing new joint for fruit teas without milk when sunright just isn't hitting. The place itself is nice, the bar in which you can watch as your boba being made is niche as not a lot of boba places do that. The service, however, can be painfully slow. I went here around 9pm, an hour before closing trying to order 2 drinks. I understand they were an hour before close but I didn't think it would take 30+ minutes to get my drink. It was a simple lychee aiyu and toasted brown sugar milk tea. There were some people occupying the tables but for the most part, they already received their drinks and no one else was waiting to get their drinks or ordered. I was able to order right when I entered the store but I have no idea what the hold up was to actually get my drink. I was standing right by the pick up area waiting to hear my name called. After 20 minutes, I saw 2 drinks placed on the inside of the bar, not at the window to grab and go. I thought maybe it was someone else's order and they are still working on it. After another 10 minutes or so, my boyfriend walked over and stuck his head in to read the order on the cups. Come to find out, it was our 2 drinks sitting there waiting to be retrieved. I found it odd as we ordered in store and they surely saw us walk from the register to the pick up area but decided not to put it on the bar or call our name. My boyfriend had to stick his hand in and wave down one of maybe 4 employees in there standing around to ask if they can hand us our drink so we don't have to bend over the table and grab it ourselves from the inside. 2 stars purely for the taste of the drinks, no stars for service. read more

Honestly, this place is so good and I love all the different kinds of unique drinks. There's not a lot of tea/boba shops that offer such a variety of flavors. This was my first time here and I was always impressed with how busy they were. I came on a Friday afternoon and I only waited about 5-8 minutes for both drinks. I love the music they play and how many ordering services they provide like the self service kiosk, front register, and online ordering.
