I've tried the Well on two occasions. Once on a Saturday and another time on a Sunday night with a holiday on Monday. I ordered food both times. I preferred the tacos and stuffed potato skins over the burger and fries I ordered on my second time at the Well. The pretzel bun was too think and hard to manage. The steak fries were suppwr thick as well. Closer to potato wedges and cold in the middle. They were huge as if a potato was cut into 6 pieces. I ended up talking my meal home and trying to recook the potatoes and locate bread for my burger. I really wanted fries age couldn't recover them at home. Being that I hadn't eaten, I was super tipsy on my second visit and I don't recall if I enjoyed myself. I didn't stay long. However, on the first visit the music was great. There was a DJ who surprisingly set up while there on a Saturday. It's a dark small place. I plan on trying it again.. probably two more times Ave trying more menu options before making my full assessment. read more

I recently hosted an event for a non-profit organization here at The Well. I worked with Vincent on the logistics. He walked me through all of the different options and made suggestions to help make the night a success. And a success it was! Vincent provided us with The Skeleton Key room in the back which was perfect for our group. Steven prepared the room for us and kept it tidy throughout the night. John was the bartender that night and let me tell you, he is the friendliest, most accommodating person. He really made it easy for me to run this event. Super attentive and all-around lovely human being. Honestly, they all were. I chatted with Steven a little bit as well and he is super friendly and kind. A specialty cocktail was created specifically for our event and it was delicious! As is the food! My group could not scarf down food fast enough! We ordered the vegetable dumplings, potato skins, onion rings, fries, a couple flatbreads, and the wings. I highly recommend The Well! read more

The Well is definitely a lounge to go to for great music. There are lots of seats around the bar and lots of booths and chairs to sit at. Unfortunately, there is not much room to dance especially once it gets crowded, but it's a nice hang out spot. They have a menu with a decent selection to choose from. I ate a few wings so I'm really not the critic to go to about their food. What I will 100% speak on is the bar and the bartenders. The drinks are just ok, and it's a hardship to get the attention of the bartenders to even place your order. They tend to keep helping the people they like and everyone else can be damned. Even once they get your drink order they will take their own good time making it. They took new orders after taking my order and then filled other customers after me first. They did the same thing to my friend who went a different evening. They get mad if you say anything about how you're treated but I'm the one being ignored from the get, looked over, and made to wait even after they take my order. Mean while I watched other people walk in and get a drink before me. The bar really is the priority in the lounge. They really need to get bartenders that know how to make a good drink and give quality customer service. A strong drink and ugly attitude does not make for a good bartender male or female. read more

Not only they are perfectly balanced with the alcohol but all the ingredients involved, including the fresh squeeze juice that they single-handedly do right in front of you! The venue is so nice check out my photos, however the bartenders were horrible! It's a medium size bar and they only had 2 bartenders and they weren't very friendly either. The food was ok. The Well is awesome!! We reserved the Skeleton Key room for after a show at the Palladium. It is right across the street. The whole bar is super cool but especially this room. We brought over more than what fits in that room so we had some overflow space as well as into the regular bar area. The food and drinks hit the spot. Although I probably needed the food more than I needed another drink. Luckily no hangover! The owner Vincent was super accommodating. This was a great ending to a great night.
