It is very nice. It's similar to panda express but so much better. I really love the red braised pork belly, that was very tender, fatty and delicious. The peppered chicken was very tasty as well. They have different varieties of dishes to choose from that are really delicious and fresh and fresh. They also offer pickled radish, and chili sauce. The best part was the utensils and containers they provided. It's really cool and high-quality covers and lids. Everything was available at a self-service counter.. If you had leftovers, you could easily pack them up yourself without having to go to the front again to ask for a to-go box. Such a convenient and a unique idea. A plate for two entree was $10.99 ( with additional a dollar or $1.50 for braised pork belly and curry ) and $13.99 for a plate of three entree of choice.

Fast efficient service! :) I tried the vegetarian tofu, the fried rice, the eggplant string beans-- all were actually decently flavored and the fried rice not bad for fast food, def superior to a certain popular Chinese fast food chain imo. We enjoyed it and the Togo packages and bag, even the straws are such good quality! |[ n o t e s ]| I would suggest less oil in the dishes, more vegan/vegetarian options, and soup options to make this place more amazing. Cool new Chinese food concept with robotic woks and smaller side portions. You choose the different small plates you like so you can mix and match with others at the table vs panda etc that puts a combo all into one personal platter. Fresh Chinese favorites at Great prices with good consistent food. These guys may become a big competitor to panda and other quick service Asian chains.

I was hungry and near this place and as much as I don't like their 'No Cash' policy, I decided to eat here. I tried their pork belly with chow mien and their tiga cola chicken, the pork belly was excellent, tiga cola chicken was ok, I bought their 2 item bowl, I probably will try their rice with 1 entree next time. I was in the area and walked in as I thought that everything was made to order but it's not. It's basically a food to go place. I came at lunch time and it was pretty empty inside. Service was friendly. The store is large and clean inside, but the food in the case did not look appetizing, it looked like it was sitting for a long time. Since I was there, I got the orange chicken and the tomato egg, and a bit of the hot sauce condiment. The hot sauce was delicious. The orange chicken was not, it was 90% batter and had a burnt taste. The tomato egg was ok but not great. Not for me.

Super quick service when we went mid day on a week day. I've never been so I just copied what my friends got --pork and fried egg plant with great beans. It was good and filling and lasted me two lunches. Very similar to Panda Express imo but a little more expensive. A great option if you want a big bowl.

Tigawok is a pioneering "robot-powered" Americanized Chinese restaurant chain launched in 2024 in Los Angeles by founder Tomas Su (Sunright Tea Studio) and Kelvin Wang (Beijing Tasty House). Tigawok focuses on a quick-service, cafeteria style and mini-bowl approach where customers can try multiples smaller portions. Dishes are intentionally priced to be affordable and competitive with grocery prices, typically ranging between $3 and $7. I really like the mini bowl concept, perfect portions and reasonable price. However, food is mediocre, lacking in depth or complex, authentic flavors. The feel of the restaurant was modern, bright, and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. Dishes are acceptable when I am looking for a quick meal but not one I would specifically go out of my way to find again.

Finished work and I was HUNGRY! My coworker told me to check out Tigawok and I did. I could tell by the people sitting outside that this place was popular. Very spacious and airy inside. I went to the sneezeproof counter and the server guided me through how to order. Got my proteins, veggies and other fun options. Paid and went to the refreshment beverage station to get my delicious drink. My food was amazing and I got to " people watch" people ordering their food in very comfy booths. This place is fun & tasty!

I was initially enticed by the fabulous mini bowls options featured on the website such as the wagyu beef curry, mapo tofu, soup dumplings, tiga cola chicken, sweet tomato and scrambled eggs, pepper kurobota pork...the list goes on. And the raving Yelp reviews drew me in. However, NONE of those items were available. Instead it is really more like Panda Express but more expensive & with even less options. I should've paid more attention to the recent reviews saying that the menu and concept has drastically changed in the past few weeks. The "mini bowls options specialist" claim is not a valid claim and the variety of food that's actually served is inconsistent with the Tigawok branding. I will say that the braised pork was tasty. But the honey walnut shrimp was overcooked and shriveled. I am still curious to try another location because the website menu options look so good! However, the Burbank location fails to meet the online expectations.

Smorgasbord style, Chinese fast food (the Chinese Chipotle). This place is super clean, modern and comfortable. We came in to sample a variety of items. We ordered Kung Pao Chicken, Tiga Wagyu Curry, Braised Pork & Wagyu Beef Rice Bowl, Egg Fried Rice, Chow Mein and some White Rice. This is not gourmet, but it's good, and very reasonably priced. The total order came to only $31.00 Overall, the food was fine, but I was most impressed by the packaging. The to-go containers are all very sleek and the carry-out bags are well made and nicely decorated. Definitely the best packaging I've seen for food containers. This was a pleasant experience and I will be back again.

This was my second visit to Tigawok. This is a new addition to Burbank. They have been open for several months now. I passed by location several times, but finally got a chance to try them. For food, I can say food was yummy and delicious. I ordered orange chicken and another chicken bowl. I also tired the chow mein and rice. Food was really good and was fresh. No complaints about the food. I also tried the teas, I like that they were not too sweet. For service, staff who helped me were very nice and friendly. They were patient while I was taking my time deciding what to order. For ambiance, I can give this location ten stars. This store was very clean and well maintained. Fountain drinks area was very clean. I really liked the idea of reusable containers and choice of the containers. They offer reusable bags which is very nice. This store is very environmental friendly. For parking, I would say it's easy to find a parking spot since there are public parkings within walking distance.

I saw this place on IG and wanted to give it a try. I waited until I was near Burbank since I live pretty far away. Overall, the orange chicken was flavorful, and the rice was nice and fluffy -- not heavy at all. The service was quick, though some items might take a bit longer since they sell out fast. The only downside was the soda machine -- all the drinks were watered down, and there wasn't any real soda, just juice-like flavor. Please fix that, and this place would be a solid go-to spot! read more

I really enjoyed the food at Tigawok--the scrambled eggs and tomato, in particular, was excellent. The chow mein wasn't as greasy as it often can be. My favorite part about this place is the small portions. I often find myself not opting for Chinese/Taiwanese food because it tends to be heavy and greasy, but the small portions here make me feel less guilty, haha. The food here is very very good! It's also a sustainability minded restaurant, so the mini container came with a lid and both were reusable so now I have a nice Tupperware! They also provide reusable bags which I love. My only issue is that ordering is a little confusing, but it's very similar to Panda Express's style! (Think plates and bowls style Asian fare). Definitely recommend!! read more

Considering how close and convenient this is for a movie date night, friendliness of the staff and how well maintained the restaurant is - bring with ample seating I'm giving Tigawok my seal of approval. I'm really happy with Tigawok and plan to return. I tried Cola Chicken - I would not order this again Orange Chicken - Would order again, good flavor Spicy Beef - Would order again, especially for when I'm in the mood for spicy. I wanted to like this place, which seems like a sort of upscale Chinese fast food place. For me all of these types of places get compared to Panda Express. Not because Panda is the best or gold standard. It's just the most established Chinese fast food, and the one I have the most experience with. So I'm looking for places that are better than Panda, since that's an easy fall back if I want this kind of food. That said, Tigawok doesn't really challenge Panda that much. The food choices seem slightly more upscale, reflected in the slightly higher prices. But with two items, rice and a drink, the price starts to crowd nicer, sit-down restaurant territory. And it's not quite as good as that. So it seems it's occupying a place somewhere between Chinese restaurants and fast food. I would eat here again, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it. Also, when I ate there, one of the more popular dishes was out (there was a wait for them to make more), and one of the fountain sodas was also out. I let the worker know about the latter, but they didn't seem to be in a hurry to fix it. The place wasn't crowded during lunch--I feel like the restaurant concept is good, but the mediocre-ish offerings are not enough to make it more popular. read more

Came here last week after seeing their ig ad. The service was friendly and good, and thats about it. The food was underwhelming. Thought it will be cheaper but its about the same price as panda express and Chipotle when you add things up. Really enjoyed eating here! Tigawok Mini Bowls has a fun concept where you can pick a few mini dishes and build your own combo. What's even cooler -- all the dishes are cooked by a robot! It's super efficient, and the food still tastes fresh and flavorful. We tried orange chicken, cola chicken,braised pork rice, tomato egg, mapo tofu, and orange peel chicken -- everything came out hot and delicious. The flavors feel very home-style and comforting. Came here for their grand opening. Long line but to be expected as there were giveaways and free food. Very friendly service, clean and organized interior, more options than Panda for those who know the Chinese cuisine. Nice that they let us sample the different dishes. I would recommend the Mapo tofu and especially the kurobota pork with rice. Great flavor and just the right size. I can see the local workers coming here for lunch. the good: lots of great variety--many more dishes than panda express. they prepped a fresh dish for me when i requested. house-made wagyu chili sauce and pickled radishes were pretty good. the bad: most of the dishes lacked the "breath of the wok" flavor that we've come to expect with wok stir-fried food. the food all looked tired as of it has been sitting too long in their warming trays. i did not leave feeling satisfied. perhaps some of this was due to kinks they still need to work out at the burbank location. read more

Tigawok is what I hope the future of fast food looks like. Their all-a-la-carte model is genius--it lets you get exactly the amount you want without the waste. No massive combo meals or unnecessary sides, just clean, efficient, and thoughtful portions. It's a more environmentally friendly approach that I really hope catches on here in the U.S. I tried the orange peel chicken and was blown away. It had all the flavor I was craving, but tasted fresh and natural--way better than anything you'd get at Panda Express. You can tell they care about ingredients and quality. Tigawok is redefining what fast food can be: quick, delicious, health-forward, and planet-conscious. I'm all in. read more

First time trying Tiga wok, and the space is clean and lovely, and very well organized. The assortment of food is vast to choose from, and everything looked great. It is quite interesting here, the concept of cooking everything via machine is interesting. But I wouldn't say the food is amazing, but rather fair for the price. Very affordable considering today's economy. Almost everything is self service, and clean overall. However, I am compelled to rate this establishment one star due to a particularly unpleasant experience with a female deli employee whose first name begins with the letter "J." Despite my frequent visits, the overall customer service in the deli and meats department has declined. The season butchers have been replaced with individuals lacking the necessary experience and customer courtesy that were previously present. Over the past three months, I have encountered the same issues with this particular employee. It is important to note that the fee charged for slicing a Tri Tip into a carton container is not the primary concern. The issue lies in the employee's behavior and attitude, specifically their unwillingness to properly wrap the sliced meat. This has occurred on multiple occasions, most recently at the checkout counter when the cashier pull the foil-wrapped package from the plastic bag causing the juices of the meat to spill all over the counter. This has happened to me every time this employee has served me. The Tri Tip sliced meat is dry and devoid of juices due to this careless employee's failure to wrap the meat carefully. It is imperative that this situation be addressed. Management should provide this employee, "J," with proper training on how to wrap sliced food correctly. Additionally, it is crucial the ambiance that all employees, including the deli and butcher employees, maintain a pleasant and friendly demeanor. A salutation is always appreciated. Despite these concerns, the BBQ remains outstanding as always.

The inside is cute, but small, so we usually end up sitting outside. This is where their Monrovia location does have the advantage because it has much more space. Parking can also be tricky. Good luck finding a spot close enough where you don't have to walk far. We usually end up parking in the residential area around the corner. That said, the staff are wonderful and always try to be as accommodating as possible despite how busy they are. Highly recommend this place if you're okay with possibly waiting a bit for seating. The food and cafe de olla are worth it.

Fries looked like they were actual fresh made fries, not frozen, which was a nice surprise. I could also tell that they make their ranch from scratch. The bbq chicken sandwich was also delicious. Side salad was super fresh. Everything was so delicious! Portions nice; prices fair. I am impressed with Wild Carvery because I could tell that the ingredients are fresh and the quality is high. I also suspect that they make their own pickles? But I'm not sure. If quality and freshness are important to you, I highly recommend checking out Wild Carvery. I can't wait to come back and try their burgers.

Dear Tiga Wok Management, I am writing to express a serious concern regarding food handling practices I observed during my visit to your Burbank location on Monday, September 8th. While at your restaurant, I saw a server wearing gloves and an apron while serving food. I then witnessed the same employee enter the restroom without removing either the gloves or apron. After exiting the restroom, they immediately returned to the food line--still wearing the same gloves and apron--and resumed handling food. Additionally, I observed the employee use a toothpick to eat food directly off the line, which raises further concerns about hygiene and food safety. As a customer, I expect basic food safety protocols to be followed, especially when it comes to preventing cross-contamination. The behavior I witnessed not only violates proper sanitation standards but also puts patrons' health at risk. I hope you take this issue seriously and provide appropriate training or corrective action to ensure this does not continue. I found out about Tigawok after seeing them featured on Heyla News, and I'm so glad I did! This place is honestly a hidden gem. I stopped by the new Tigawok in Burbank a few days after they opened -- it's always exciting to see new spots in the area. I tried the pepper pork, Hunan spicy beef, and a side of cabbage. The pepper pork had a nice balance -- not too salty, and the green pepper gave it a fresh kick. The Hunan beef was definitely on the spicy side (in a good way!) The cabbage was simple but cooked just right. The place was clean, service was friendly, and I liked how fast everything came out even though it was lunchtime.
