I've had Tikiyaki bookmarked for a while and have been meaning to try it. Since I was in the area today, I tried it for lunch. When I entered Tikiyaki, there was a small line, but the woman at the cashier was quite efficient. I ordered the teriyaki bowl with no rice and a side of egg rolls. My food came out about 5 minutes later. Right away, I could see the generous portions. They give you plenty of chicken for the price, which is awesome. The chicken is tasty because it was a nice char. The egg rolls were hot and crispy, but remind me of the ones at Panda Express, which I know come frozen and are not handmade since I used to work there. For this reason, I am not giving the full 5 stars. Tikiyaki is still a solid place to eat and I will come back for sure. I want to try the volcano chicken! read more

Located in a little strip mall just off of the 55/Lincoln. Get a pretty good amount of food for the price. Only to go since COVID. So I was on my way to Panda Express when I overshot the entrance and saw TikiYaki in the plaza across the way. I decided to stop here instead if braving the atrocious Walmart shopping plaza the get to Panda. So glad I did!! To say that the portion amounts and generous is an understatement. I had the teriyaki chicken and beef tried tip (#12 on the board). The chicken is literally the best I've ever had from a take out chain like this and the trip tip was excellent too. Most of the people there were clearly regulars. I was about to find out why. It was a little bit of a wait and when they called me up, they instead brought it to me. I always make note when I make a counter order and the employee brings it to my table rather than making me get up and fetch it. I don't expect it, but I do think that it tells me that there is a better level of care for customers. I always get the TERIYAKI STEAK DINNER. I wasn't expecting that much when I first tried them out. Their appearances are very unassuming. Don't be fooled. The quality of the steak is very good, and it tastes great. This beats all Teriyaki steak places for the price of under $10. I always have leftovers because of the large portions. It also comes with an EGG ROLL. I had the half steak half chicken bowl the quality of the meats are the best the steak is Tri Tip such great flavor and cooked perfect !! The portions here are large the most I have seen a place give for only 6.99 cant beat that :)!! The rice is also very good its the sticky rice which is my favorite ! I saw someone who ordered the Tropical Orange Chicken thats on my list to try next it looked so good ! I had to start with the food sorry lol but the staff is great here as well very helpful kind and they provide fast service . The store is a little small inside with a few tables but they also have outside seating as well very clean place . The size of the bowls are appropriate and filling, but if you are hungry and enjoy left overs then get their plates. The place is a bit small on the inside but spacious enough to enjoy your meal. My friends and I like to eat outside when it's too crowded because that place gets packed because of how good it is. People tend to call ahead because the wait sometimes takes too long. I went there yesterday and ordered, and I had my food ready in less than 10 minutes. I love it there. Look, the food is good. But - They do not enforce a mask policy or social distancing. We we're cramped in the tiny space no larger than 10x10 - about 8 customers with the door closed.
