Amazing! kudos to the chef bringing in Mexico to Fort Worth! Very romantic great for parties

So very pleased to report that a second visit to Tinie's for brunch was every bit as good as the first visit. We enjoyed the same shared dishes as last week and the preparation of each was perfectly consistent with last week's presentations. Impressive. And the Casita Margarita is quite nice. But even better is Eric's suggestion of a Marg poured with Aguasol tequila and a Mexican poblano chile liqueur. Wowzer.

1st time while in Fort Worth for Tiki Event next door. We tried to order the Tacos de Pescado but was told all out of fish so we went with the Estilo Ensenada & Hot Cakes de Maiz. 3 pancakes from blue corn with a drizzle and strawberry, came with syrup but I like a little butter only. When asked for butter was given a bowl of melted butter (?) Nice bar enjoyed the house made tomato used for bloody Mary's. Wait staff nice but service off a bit. Sharing house specials after we already ordered.

Nice indoor and outdoor space and friendly service but really I wasn't impressed unfortunately just had so many things wrong with the dish. The chipotle Hollandaise wasn't bad.but egg was watery like you could tell it was poached. Now for the duck, so over cooked it was like eating stringy pork. Anyway, not a good day for the chef and I hope the drinks are better!!

So this place looks promising but it really under delivered. We tried a bunch of things and nothing was really memorable. The tuna tostadas for certain had pre-made store bought wholly guacamole- you know the taste- that actually ruined the whole thing. The octopus flavor was good but fried to a crisp so it was very tough. The empanadas had no flavor just plain shredded beef, no seasoning LOL and LORD how are you a Mexican inspired place but can't serve a fajita. Like these were the most bland chicken fajitas ive ever had. For $30?! We didn't finish anything and didn't take home leftovers. Honestly I wouldn't come here again.

A small, local spot that we were happy to find. This is not Tex Mex but is delicious. You can tell they emphasize quality and details in the kitchen. The top shelf Margarita required 2 refills .........chips and guacamole were excellent and fresh. A basket of tamales were fun to pass around. They were huge and masa was perfect. The filling was slightly dryer than I would prefer. Finished with goat tacos and worth repeating. A fun, delicious spot

    Happy Hour Beef Taco

Don't let them get you on their happy hour specials. Their tacos are poorly seasoned ground beef and very greasy, and their "queso" is a step up from concession stand cheese, has a very weird texture and horrible flavor. I don't know why I was expecting authentic cuisine. I sat at the bar and the service was also subpar. The bar is tiny (no pun intended) and the bartender decided to finish his prolonged conversation before even acknowledging me, providing me with a menu, or even getting me water. This attitude seems to be a growing trend among bartenders in the south main area. Not sure I can recommend this spot. I'd try the tacos around the corner before coming back here.

Love this spot, the vibe is amazing, rooftop is cool, food is great, drinks could use some improvement but otherwise one of my favorite places in fort worth

The noise level was extremely high...we literally had to yell just to have a conversation with each other. Service was also very slow. It took about 15 minutes just to be acknowledged at the bar, and close to 30 minutes to actually receive a drink. When I finally ordered, I told the bartender to make her favorite drink. She made something that included raw egg whites (which I later learned is common in certain cocktails), but it wasn't mentioned or explained at the time. A few hours later, I became very sick...vomiting and dealing with what felt like severe food poisoning all night and through the next 24 hours. After looking into it, I suspect it may have been related to the raw egg used in the drink. Just something to be aware of if you're ordering drinks like a whiskey sour or anything that may include egg whites. After getting our receipt (which you need for the speakeasy entry code), we checked out the speakeasy portion, but the vibe there wasn't great either..pretty must the same as the other part of the bar. We ended up leaving within about five minutes. Overall, the experience didn't live up to the hype for us....between the noise, long wait times, and how we were treated, it just wasn't enjoyable. For comparison, the bar next door, Archibald, felt much more welcoming. Maybe regulars have a different experience, but as first-time guests, we were not impressed.

As the name might suggest, this places focuses on cocktails throughout the world. Nonetheless, as the opportunity presented itself, we have usually opted happy hour. The first time I came here, I asked for a drink that was recommended. The bartender made a wonderful espresso martini. Despite what I mentioned, this was not on the happy hour menu. It was still a great drink nonetheless. I should have clarified from my end that I was looking for a happy hour drink. Good level of espresso liqueur with smooth vodka. Also, simple presentation with the coffee beans on top. The second time I came here it was also for happy hour. This time, I got the Bee's Knees. This was refreshing and sweet. The harshness of the gin did come through at times but at a tolerable amount that wasn't overwhelming. I liked the visuals of the dehydrated lemon slice. In both visits, we were regularly checked on by staff seeing if we had anything else to order, to gets dishes/glasses out of the way, refill water, etc. Always so kind! I will also note that the restrooms are incredibly clean and well-stocked. Although I've only come to Atlas for happy hour, I would certainly love to come back some day later in the evening because I've heard the vibe and atmosphere is especially more lively during that time.

I was also here for their halloween pop-up, which was incredibly well-done, with tons of themed cocktails and super intense decorations throughout the bar.

But from the very first phone call, Sophie at Blackland Distillery showed nothing but grace and patience. She allowed us to keep pushing back our reservation without a hint of frustration, and that alone deserves a standing ovation. When we finally arrived, what could've been a ruined evening turned into one of the most memorable nights we've had. Every single person we encountered at Blackland was incredibly kind and welcoming. Marshall greeted us with warmth, and Jeremy? He's not just a bartender--he's a cocktail artist. The drinks he crafted for us were next-level, easily some of the best we've ever had. He truly understands spirits and how to elevate them. We were genuinely torn when it was time to leave for our dinner reservation at Wicked Butcher--honestly, we could've stayed sipping Jeremy's creations all night. Before we left, we got to meet Sophie in person (she stuck around!), and by that time, we had sampled every single spirit Blackland offers. Each one was exceptional--smooth, bold, and full of character. Take home message: Top-tier spirits, an amazing vibe, and a team that genuinely cares--Blackland Distillery turned a stressful day into an unforgettable celebration. We'll be back... and next time, we're staying all night.

We poke our heads in (accidentally going through the exit door. the front door is well camouflaged) and just found a wonderful very chilled out bar. Haven't been to a speakeasy in a long time. It was dark lighting with ambient black lights and string lights to keep it dim but you wont struggle to see through. Music was not super loud and the chairs were incredibly comfortable and the whole place was laid out to just have drinks and lounge while talking with friends. No food, which is fine. You have plenty of options on the same block for that. This place is just for drinks and conversation. The seasonal menu was awesome. It iss a bar so they of course can make anything you request if you don't want a specialty cocktail. I got my favorite, a moscow mule but they had a brazilian mule on the specialty menu. I never had that before and ordered it on the spot. It was grapefruit vodka with lime, lots of fine pellett nugget ice (the really good kind) with ginger beer and condensed milk. My god it was great, they told me how they made it because i never saw milk added to this before. It was a delicious limeade that almost was slushy like, creamy and with tangy vodka. Plus they actually served it in a proper copper mug. Best mixed drink ive had period and a cool twist on my favorite standard moscow mule. The place is now going to become a frequent haunt for us. Its very laid back, relaxed, with fantastic ambiance. It doesn't get jammed packed and is not meant to get wild in. We went there around 7pm on a friday night with about 8 or so others already there with their drinks. It did pick up later with 15-20 people in there but still spacious and comfortable. It genuinely was just a nice bar to have drinks and conversations with friends. Nice music that isn't too loud so you can talk with normal voice levels. The bartenders we had were super nice and charismatic. The drinks were not expensive, a respectable 13 bucks for my mule. If you have a bill over 40 dollars they automatically add 20% gratuity to it so keep that in mind when you are tipping. And after 8pm everything had 20% gratuity added to the bill. But the service is so damn good that you will probably still want to tip on top of that anyways. I loved it so much i actually made a yelp account just to post a review. TLDR super cool speakeasy type joint, cool aesthetics and laundry theme. Not loud, good for drinks and chit chat, cool well crafted specialty cocktails that don't break the bank. Good bartenders. Good times. Cozy seats that encourage you to hang out and talk even with folks you haven't met before and dim without being dark lighting. Clean bathroom too and quick charismatic service. Hit this place up for sure even just for the novelty of it. It was a wonderful surprise bar for a date night. Pro tip for this area in general. all paid parking, some place validates some do not, i am unsure if they do here but there is paid parking right out front and also a paid lot literally across the street. But i don't even bother. About a block and a half away northeast is a big shopping complex with a target. i just park there for free and walk. its a short nice walk and doesn't cost 20 bucks.
