We went there for brunch on New Year's Day. We waited about a half hour to sit down and another forty minutes for our food to arrive. It time was expected, but the service was nonexistent. The server took the order and that was about it. She never refilled our drinks (it was just water,) or asked if everything was ok. If asked how our food was tasting, she would have been told the turkey on my sandwich was cold, dry and bland. My daughter ordered a simple hamburger and the fries were soggy and luke warm. My family enjoyed their brunch, but for a first impression this place kinda failed. I know you were busy, but it would have been nice to get some basic table service. read more

We specifically went to check out this place because my friend had heard good things about it and we LOVE breakfast. It's charming enough and the food was pretty good but nothing spectacular. The service was TERRIBLE. First, the waitress forgot to take our order. Then, I finally had to get up to get my friend's coffee and some syrup for his pancakes. Then, we tried to get some cream for his coffee and the table next to us finally felt sorry for us and handed over their creamer pitcher. All four of shook our heads. I did note that there were plenty of employees standing around the cash register, chatting away. Then, when I realized later that I had forgotten my scarf at the restaurant and called them, the hostess who answered the phone was notably uninterested and then accused me of being rude. Amazing. Best thing about the place? Ironically, it was the toast. All in all, not a bad place to stop in if you are in the area and totally starving but I won't return due to the sub-standard staff. Toast is a very nice, easy to get to breakfast spot with great service and amazing fare. I've been three times now and each time has been a grand slam. the only reason for not 5 stars is the atmosphere is a little cafeteria-ey. Today I ordered my new favorite, crabcakes bennedict. I've had really good ones before, but this one is luscious. It is so rich, you can order another plate of potatoes and split the bennies with your friend. My neighbor ordered a side of French toast and it was exactly the size of her plate. The slices are 2 inches thick! I wouldn't be shy about sending my friends directly there for casual, easy to chat, no long lines, anyday brekky. Just go, you'll love it. read more

My fella and I tried Toast for a change of pace this morning. About a 20 minute wait, and we were seated in the back room. The Caramel Almond Latte was amazing, but super filling, and THEN the food came out. Portion sizes are super generous. I had the Lumberjack breakfast - the potatoes, bacon, and ham were the highlights of that humongous platter. The fella had the Lemon Blueberry pancakes that came out drizzled with lemon curd, but the stack three huge pancakes. Stopped in here while waiting for my car to get serviced early in the morning. I had heard good things about Toast and wanted to try it. Service was average, but just be nice and smile and they will eventually warm up to you. The food was quick to come as well. We had the Bourbon Praline French Toast. It was pretty good, I just wish the french toast had been a little less soggy with a better crust? on the outside. The sauce was super sweet, but it is a praline sauce. Maybe next time I try it I'll ask for the sauce on the side so it's not as heavy-handed. We also got the corned beef hash and eggs and the corned beef hash benedict. Both were awesome. If anything, go for the corned beef! It's house-made and perfectly seasoned. The side potatoes were ok. Giant slices of potatoes, some only partially seasoned and some not as well browned as the others, but that is probably just a QC thing depending on the cook. It was really early and during the work week, so the cooks just may have been sleepy. Also, for all you fellow glutards out there, Toast has a nice selection of gluten free options and much of their menu can be made gluten free which is super nice! read more

Ate here for lunch yesterday. Service was good, food was so-so, and the restaurant was pretty loud even though it wasn't full. We had the apple + fig + brie sandwich, veggie sandwich, and the chorizo eggs benedict. The benedict was the only meal worth ordering again and I would advise against ordering the apple, fig and brie sandwich. It was very bland. The veggie sandwich was okay, and probably would not order again. I would probably have to try their breakfast before writing it off completely, but wasn't especially impressed. read more

Just bad food! no reason to eat here, there is nothing special about this place. This is my third time eating here and my last. I Gave it several shots. Bland, limp omelettes with no imagination behind them at all. The pancakes look fun and delicious on the menu and when brought out but the batter is chewy and they are tasteless. Breakfast potatoes were crunchy undercooked and again under seasoned. Also pricing is very expensive. $13 for a breakfast burrito. $12 for pancakes and eggs, 2.75 for a cup of coffee! Food comes out cold or lukewarm half the time. Everything is underwhelming. read more

Never had a bad experience here! The servers are charismatic and polite. The food is outstanding! I definitely recommend the crab cake Benedict! I was very full and satisfied. You just have to plan ahead for the wait time if it's a weekend for brunch. One of my go to restaurants for brunch with friends. Parking is very tight in front of the location. read more

My husband and I have been coming here for years, and it's always been great. I'm sorry to say i've been quite disappointed with the service we've gotten over the past few months though. We've always been seated quickly, given wonderful service, and the food has always been amazing. Unfortunately, this time around was different. Our food came out shockingly quick, and was room temperature. When I asked if mine could be warmed up, the server got an attitude with me and even rolled his eyes. I couldn't believe it! I know things are difficult in the food/retail world right now, I work retail myself, so I've actually never asked for my food to be sent back, or fixed, or anything my entire life. This was my first time doing so, and I felt so terrible for just wanting my meal to be warm. On top of that, the food was very different from how it is usually cooked, it felt rushed and cheap. Almost like iHop but more expensive. I thought it was kind for a manager to come and ask us how we were doing, but after the way we were treated by our server I was just too uncomfortable saying anything and I definitely did not want to start anything. If the issue was just with the food I wouldn't be saying anything, but mostly it was just the poor treatment that upset me. I'm so sad to say that this restaurant is not how it used to be. read more

We waited about 10 minutes on a Saturday at 9:30 in the morning. Food was awesome! We had two flights of pancakes. My favorite was bananas foster then blueberry lemon, while my daughter loved the devils food and banana strawberry. Asked for a side of crispy bacon and it was perfectly crispy but not burned. This was my second time going to toast and I have to say I'm not impressed. I ordered something I've always wanted to try the first time, avocado toast. I have never had it. It was extremely dull. That was my fault. Because of that I decided to give Toast another try. This time I had the Raspberry Truffle Latte and the Strawberry Cheesecake Pancakes. The coffee was really good until I hit the bottom and there was a large amount of syrup just sitting on the bottom. Enough to make your hair curl. Still, I'd have it again and avoid drinking all the way to the bottom. The pancakes were okay. There was nothing spectacular about them except that they were huge, and there were 3 of them. I was extremely sad to have throw them out. Pancakes do not keep well once they are dressed. These had bananas, strawberries, cheesecake dressing, and whipped cream on top. No way any of that was going to make it until the next morning. It a HUGE waste. Perhaps having the option of one, two, or three pancakes would be better. They also weren't that good. The pancakes themselves were fluffy and tasty, but I couldn't taste the bananas, the strawberries tasted sour, and the cheesecake dressing was dull. I decided to remove another star for the volume of the restaurant. I sat across the table from my mother and we hardly spoke, because we couldn't hear each other. It is exceptionally loud. Not because of music, if there were any playing we didn't hear it, but because of the talking. I will say there are two things that are going to bring me back (because there was something else on the menu I really want to try) the service and the real cream. Our server was quick and friendly. The hosts were nice and accommodating. Even in a busy setting the service staff were always smiling and moving aside to accommodate the customers. I like that... scratch that, I LOVE that. I know, it seems like such a small thing, but both of the things I ordered had whipped cream on top and I've had the oil cream that just melts away and has zero flavor. This cream tasted like cream and was really the best part of my pancake. I adore real food. read more

Online ordering was super easy and my food was ready in less than 10 minutes. Thank you to the Toast staff for staying open and working hard to bring us a bit of normalcy during these strange times. I ordered my eggs cooked hard and they came back runny, so I asked him if the kitchen could just cook them through. Finally tried this place after driving past it constantly for the last couple years! I had the avocado toast and side of pancakes. Avocado toast was spot on but the potatoes were a little too undercooked for my taste. I like them crispy. I also had a side of pancakes which hands down is the best pancake I've had in awhile. Only thing is that it's pretty pricy compared to other local brunch spots that have similar menus. With coffees and tip, we walked away spending $50 for two. I used to like Toast a lot more. It seems like their food got more expensive and the quality is not the same. Maybe it was not the smartest choice for me to get the crab cake benedict living in Colorado but it was really mushy. My husband got the corned beef hash and he was also disappointed. I would recommend getting the homefries crispier, they had a very nice golden color to them that way. Our server seemed a little inconvenienced by us too, and only checked in on us once. read more
