Anytime we stay near Disney, I always try to go outside of the resort areas to eat. Found this small place and was pleasantly surprised. It's not very far from Disney, but far enough from the crowds. First, the service was great. They were very nice and attentive. It was pretty slow, but it was Sunday on a holiday weekend. We ordered several sushi rolls and a pork katsu. The flavors were all delicious. The spicy scallops hand roll was great and they didn't hide it under krab or any other fillers. It was a little spicier than I expected and it was delicious. What I most appreciated was I was able to order more rolls for variety because an order was 4 pieces. The price reflected the amount and so you really could try different rolls and not pay $15-20 for each. The restaurant was cozy and tastefully decorated. They still have a sushi bar, which I always love as an option. We will definitely keep this place on the list when we are in the area. read more

New ownership and unfortunately, we won't be coming back, which is sad because we used to be regulars. The new ordering system made for a frustrating experience from start to finish. We had to check in at a kiosk and wait to be seated even though there were only two tables occupied. Then we were told to scan a QR code and place our own order. The menu was confusing, and after our appetizers came out, we waited 45 minutes with no sushi. A server finally asked if we had ordered anything else... yes, through the QR system you told us to use. To top it off, we spent the entire meal swatting away gnats, no one apologized for the delay, and we waited forever to get our check. You would think they would've at least comped our drinks or given us the multiple appetizers they mistakenly brought out for the inconvenience. We left still hungry even though it was supposedly "all you can eat" and ended up eating Taco Bell afterward. This place used to be one of our favorite sushi spots...sad that we won't be coming back anytime soon. read more

I'm so glad I found this place!! I'm usually a creature of habit... so I don't usually venture out from the normal spots unless I find a place worth trying. I've seen this place many times, but always passed it by as I know my spots that I enjoy in this price range. However, I decided to finally give this place a try and I'm so glad I did! I got the Tori Special (which, for some odd reason can't be ordered online) but I called to place the order. I got the salmon train for my four piece roll when I brought it home and took my first bite, it wasn't an amazing experience. The fish was nice and tender with great flavors and the rice was seasoned perfectly. Everything tasted amazing and I felt full, but not stuffed. The service here was good...the servers were friendly and attentive. However, unfortunately the sushi itself was pretty meh. I came on a weekday evening with some friends, and we all felt the same way. We ordered and shared several different 4-piece rolls, and for the price ($8-9 per half roll, which comes out to about $16-18 per full roll), the quality just wasn't there. The rolls tasted similar to what you'd get at a mediocre AYCE sushi spot: basic fillings, basic sauces, and fish that was just okay. Nothing tasted particularly fresh or distinctive, and most of the rolls ended up tasting the same. The sauces and overall flavor were pretty bland, so nothing really stood out. For the price point, we were expecting more than average in terms of flavor or quality, but it didn't deliver. Although I appreciate the good service, the food just didn't feel worth it. I was pretty excited when I saw how affordable their rolls were - most of them are under $10, which is almost unheard of these days. But I quickly realized why: each order comes with just 4 pieces. Still, the rolls themselves were solid. My favorite was the Tori Chips. The house-made chips paired with sashimi ceviche (including my favorite, salmon) and little bits of mango made for a fun and tasty bite. I did not like the Spicy Crispy Rice Salmon. The rice wasn't crispy. The toppings were good but I think there was just too much sauce making the whole thing soft. The restaurant is small and cozy, and the service was friendly. Plenty of parking in the area too, which is always a plus. Overall, a nice little spot to grab some sushi without breaking the bank. Came here after they changed to AYCE and it was soooo good. The quality is quite high for AYCE, and the food came out so quick. We had barely pressed order by a couple of minutes and most of our order was already out. Despite how fast it was, the quality of the food and raw fish was quite high. I've been a regular customer for the past two years and have brought so many friends and family here because I've absolutely loved this place. Unfortunately, I'm really disappointed with the recent changes, especially the new all you can eat format, check-in process, and ordering system. It doesn't feel genuine at all. The service and experience were great before, and one of the reasons we kept coming back was because we could simply order the items we loved. I don't understand why customers are now being pushed into an all-you-can-eat option when the previous setup worked so well. I really hope you consider going back to the way things were. The customer service is fast yet very professional. It's very clean inside. They have TV's and were playing the NFL game! The sushi rolls were absolutely delicious and very affordable. We haven driven by this spot many times and just never tried it and we finally did today. Wow! This will be our new go to spot for sushi from now on. The service was great, and it was quiet since it's a Monday at 4pm. The location is small and cozy. I liked that the rolls were 4 pieces since that meant we could try more than usual. The rolls were good, rolls are usually hit or miss with me since they're normally too saucy. The 3 we got were good and had diff flavors (sexy Hawaiian, monster roll, and unagi xo). My 5 star goes to the yellowtail jala, omg it was SO GOOD and the yellowtail just melted in my mouth. We ended up ordering another one and I could honestly just eat this all day. I can't wait to have it again. I also got the bluefin tuba nigiri and that also melted in my mouth. The quality of the fish reminded me of having sushi in Japan. This place is soo sweet and they do half portion rolls but rather big pieces. I definitely recommend coming here if you want nigiri ** its not all you can eat. But the thickness of the fish cuts was PRESENT and tasted relatively fresh. My rolls were good and none of them tasted too heavy or oily or broke apart. The appetizers are simple but not super high quality. The service was excellent, but i guess because the plaza is relatively small and empty ( enough parking). It appears really close to choc hospital and is mainly korean ran. Anyways our server was super considerate- stepped in to clear plates when our order was ready and asked thoughtful questions such as if we were sharing rolls or where to place the menu we desired when our table was full. She even got us more ginger. I got the monster and winter which was enough to feel full, but the nigiri is saw my friends eat was thickk and they especially enjoyed the pepper salmon. Service was so slow I asked to pay for what we had eaten because this was ridiculous. My daughters and I ate about $35 worth of food but was still charged $107 after asking to pay for the small amount we had eaten. 90 minute is the policy time limit with only one waitress and a 10 piece order limit for a table of three. This is an takeout experience. SIL has a baby and all she wants is some sushi. I suggest here and order by phone. Things on the internet and what they actually have changes apparently. Anyways, the girl who answered is nice and pleasant enough. We get there to pick up the food and our stuff is not ready. Ok, fine but, our raw sushi is just sitting there on the hostess area. We wait a good 15 minutes or so. My husband freaked out and so he only ate he cooked stuff. I didn't get sick but, it def was questionable. Also, while we were in there, she needed help. There were only a few table but, she had to have been new. People were not getting their drinks. She was answering the phone, seating people, taking their orders, etc.. Called in some to go orders. Super sweet gentle girl working the front. She caters to phone calls, is a cashier and serves all the tables. Was wondering why some of the basic rolls were ridiculously inexpensive. Salmon lover was $8.75 and tuna lover was $8.5. The rolls are kid sized, and even for kids, it's not enough. They are half rolls - only 4 pieces. So you'd need to order a double order to get a whole roll- which is no longer cheap at all. The rolls did have a good amount of fish and less rice, so that was a plus. My tuna had the white membrane still in the fish, which I had to get rid of. Free parking. Overall great spot for a fast and delicious lunch. Be prepared to order a ton. read more

I could go there to eat a Salmon Lover every day! We also loved the PROTEIN ROLL which I got to be macro friendly but honestly so buttery and delicious I would order for the great flavor. The SALMON LOVER however was an umami lover's dream with flavors that complimented the buttery salmon beautifully. One of my favorite rolls of all time. I appreciated the solid serving size of ginger and wasabi and highly recommend the HOT GREEN TEA which compliments the meal really well and opens up room for more food. The QUALITY of the fish was on point and very fresh. In terms of PORTION SIZE, I was skeptical at first that the orders came with 4 to 5 pieces, but they did not disappoint as they are some large pieces, and as you can tell from this review I can eat.
