Troy's is my go to for amazing breakfast burritos and it should be for everyone else. Troy's is a small little spot with limited seating (outdoor only) and limited parking. Most of the time I have to park on the street and walk over, but I do it because their food is amazing. You will always see people lined up waiting either for their food or place an order because not only do they make some large burritos, but they make them so delicious! Its hard to say what makes them so good, but I will say their salsa is so amazing and they have different heat levels for anyone. This is a must for everyone! read more

I have driven by this place for years. I've always been in a hurry, on my way somewhere, so I have never stopped. Today I was driving by with no particular place to go, so I stopped for lunch. My logic was that if this place, Troy's, had been her for all those years in an un likely location, it must be good. Boy what that the under statement of the century! It wasn't just good, it was great! The first thing I notice was a sign that said it was owned by the same family since 1977. And it showed in the pride of ownership that we don't often see in big corporation owned places. The facility was spotless...right down to the windows being clean and polished the grounds and dinning area like the great grandmother who did nothing but clean. The food. A combo of large drink and fries was not only tasty but it was at a grear price. The lady at the order window was a sweet heart. This place is worthy of respect ! The pros were the friendly service. The cons were the tortilla which tasted stale. The lack of meat in the breakfast burrito and the poor overall value based on nearby competitors. Skip the place that keeps getting votes in local magazines as a "top" place and try elsewhere. read more

Classic fast and delicious. Our family has been going to Troy's for-ev-er. From the amazing breakfast burritos to the excellent burgers and freezes, Troy's has it all. Personal favorites are the sausage breakfast burrito, the double cheeseburger, the pastrami, zucchini or the fried mushrooms. No meal is complete without a freeze. Root beer is the best IMO, but any soda can be used. Call ahead for pickup or enjoy the indoor or outdoor seating if you have time to enjoy the food right away. read more

Am I weird to think tartar sauce is a given in fish & chips? I was wondering why they asked about thousand island dressing, thought it was for the tiny salad on the side. But nope thousand island is for your fish!!! Then they also included bunch of ketchup, as if it is any better. I have 12 packs of ketchup with my fish and chip meal. I have been coming here for years, mainly for the breakfast burritos. I will say they are one of the better ones in the immediate area. The green salsa is the key. Without it, the burritos itself is pretty average. All that being said, the burrito is over priced now. While good, it's one of the more expensive breakfast burritos around. In today's economy this isn't a bad place. I had the breakfast burrito and really enjoyed it. It's probably top three around if not my favorite. Get the hash browns well done though. The salsa is great. Don't be surprised that the burrito is over 10$ cause it's pretty big. Could use more meat and eggs versus potatoes however. The best breakfast burritos in OC. The green salsa is spicy but not like make you sick spicy so be careful on how much you put on. On the weekdays the line is not too bad but the weekends it's kind of crazy so phone orders are encouraged. I'm not going to sugar coat it. Sorry, but can't really understand what the hype is all about with this place. There is a line in the morning (don't understand why) but that's because whether you call in your order or go there to place it you have to stand in the same line. But oh wait they have two windows and only seem to use one for ordering, pickup, and phone order pickups. Just wonderful. Not sure what the point is to even call ahead to have them tell you it will be ready in 20mins and get there and stand until the long line where people are placing orders just to pick up your order. So yes, when I'm hungry I'm hungry. So on to the food. Ordered two bacon breakfast burritos, asked for extra well done hash browns and extra well done bacon (love the crunch and crispy bacon) but what did I get? People in this city consider this a staple of sorts when it come to quick quality food. Meaning your gonna get a lot of food quick for a good price. But sometimes it's a miss on quality. That Troy I am That Troy I am I Do not like that Troy I am. Do you like breakfast burritos? When I see a sign saying "Best breakfast burrito" I get intrigued. I LOVE LOVE LOVE a good breakfast burrito so my hopes were shattered when I bit into it and it didnt live up to my expectations. I ordered the bacon one which was mostly hash browns, then egg, cheese and bacon. Average size for a burrito. Flavor was nothing special. I think I would of enjoyed it more if I didnt have such high hopes. The parking lot is okay, can be kind of tight especially if people dont know how to get in and out. But for the burrito, I was a sad sad girl. But one of my buddies who lives in the area still swares by Troys and claims they are the best. To each their own. I have been going to this family owned Burger stand for years, specifically for their pastrami sandwiches and their egg burritos. I bragged to my bf how great they were this lazy sunday morning. Brought him there, ordered, and waited over 30 minutes while people behind us got their food. We were spoken to rudely twice by the lady behind the window. Turned out our order was set aside because they couldn't read the writing from the cashier, Brought home burnt eggs and 4 unedible burritos. A hole in a wall place in Orange! You'll probably drive by it if you aren't specifically looking for it. It's located on Lincoln, a little closer to Tustin Ave and it'll be on the right side if you're heading that way. If you see the Vons shopping plaza, you've gone too far. There are a few small tables in front and the parking lot is small, but if you aren't lucky enough to get a parking spot in the lot, you can park on the street. The menu has a lot of your American breakfast items, but I've only had the breakfast burritos here. I did see a steak sandwhich on the menu that I want to try next time, but haven't gotten the chance yet. The bf says this place has the BEST breakfast burritos in Orange County. I'm always down for breakfast burritos. Who's going to say no to one? Your option is to get ham, bacon, sausage or chorizo with 3 eggs, cheese, hash browns, and salsa. We always opt for ham/bacon/sausage combo. For two, comes out to be about $20. These burritos are huge. It's more of a breakfast and lunch kind of burrito, where I can eat it at breakfast and I'll be full til just a little after lunch and ask for a "light" lunch. The salsa is a good kind of spicy. I DO like their breakfast burritos, butttttttt there's something about it where I can't say it's the best one in Orange County. Again, not saying it's bad or anything, I just think Ham N Scram in Westminster is better, haha. I'll still go to this place since it's close to the bf's place, but it's not my number one for breakfast burritos. The bf usually phones in the order and just picks it up for us, but on our most recent visit, he forgot so he said we could just swing by and pick it up to go for our road trip. Stopped by for the breakfast burrito, I heard alot about them and I've had my fair share of Breakfast Burritos at numerous places. The burrito was a decent size, for sure you will not be hungry after. The main issue was the ingredients were not evenly distributed across the burrito so I ended up getting half of the burrito as hashbrowns, which was a bummer. It's all about the spread and fold. Been going to Troy's for years, because they used to have the best breakfast burritos I've ever had. Absolutely loaded with high quality sausage, the best. Picked up some for the family this morning, and what a disappointment. The burritos had hardly any sausage in them, and the hash browns were more like hash whites. The tortillas used to be very good and flavorful, these were obviously store bought. Looks like Troy's is cutting corners in order to save money, and the drop in quality of their once-awesome breakfast burritos is evidence that's exactly what they're doing. You can go to any burger stand and get a flavorless burrito like the ones I bought today. No need to make a special trip to Troy's. This is a neighborhood spot. Have come here off and on over 20 yrs. The breakfast burritos are hit and miss. Today was a big miss! Not a huge fan of hash browns. Ordered a chorizo burrito. They would get five stars from me normally but due to these current conditions Covid 19 NONE OF THE STAFF IS Wearing masks or face coverings? Very good breakfast burritos. The green salsa is the best! Super spicy! The best ones are the bacon or ham. The chorizo is not that yummy as the other ones. The cheeseburgers are not that great anymore. They're use to be, but the patties are super thin. As far as price, for a family of four, you are at least expected to spend about $50 dollars.
