Tucci's is gorgeous! The room with the wine bottles and round table -breathtaking! From the outside a charming cottage like the rest of Dublins historic downtown and a place like Tucci's fits right in. The service is first class, perfect for a date or anniversary dinner. Nice music playing, very quiet and romantic. They menu is a bit avant garde for my carnivorous husband and fried food loving son so we opted for drinks and desserts and I will have t be back for lunch where there are more options for the not so adventurous. It is a shame they are closed sundays and don't offer lunch on saturdays, so it will be hard to make it there unless you live you work in Dublin. We tried their homemade sorbet and todays option was wild berry which was delicious! Fresh, fruity, not too sweet and made me wish it was summertime! We had the SILK PIE oreo-hazelnut crust, milk chocolate custard, dark chocolate ganache, frangelico anglaise. It was jsut that, silky smooth, awesome crust and very very good vanilla cream completmenting the rich ganache. The best upscale oreo pie I have ever had. The caramel apple tartlettes were also good, I am a lover of all things overly sweet so in my case it could have been sweeter but it was also amazing nonetheless. It is a perfect dessert if you want something light and not overbearing, bursting with subtle flavor and attention to detail. Last but not least the pumpkin whoopie pies. Not being a fan of pumpkin and a little dissapointed the took the oatmeal ice cream sandwhich off the menu I still have them a whirl and they also did not dissapoint! Nothing artificial about this marshmellow cream, and my favorite part was the nut brittle on the side, I could eat the by the pound! Tucci's is such a classy and comfortable spot in historic downtown Dublin. Highly recommend making a reservation if you would like to dine here though, it always seems to be busy. They have some good bartenders who can make great cocktails, and a chef who knows what he's doing. Their food is always on point. This is a great spot for a romantic dinner or a family celebration. They're happy hour is great, too. When it's warm out and they have the patio open, it is so relaxing and classy, you feel like you're on vacation. Tried this place for restaurant week and I will definitely be coming back again! It was on the $30 prix fixe menu and given that I often don't get an appetizer or dessert for myself I decided to indulge a little bit. The restaurant had an awesome patio, and there was a live band playing some sweet jazz tunes so we decided to sit out there. The waiter was prompt and having never been there before he explained how everything on the menu was house made from the salad dressing to the breads to the chocolate mousse desserts. For dinner I had the clam chowder to start which was awesome. Had a nick kick of lemon to it as well which I've never had in my chowders before. For my entree I had the veal meatloaf which was just WOW. Super tender meatloaf with a nice sweet candied maple crispy exterior. It was a generous portion served over a mushroom gravy with mashed potatoes and green beans. I loved every bite of this dish. For dessert the waiter recommended the white chocolate mousse with fresh berries which was made in house. It was definitely amazing and not too sweet. It was also a huge portion, easily enough for 2-3 people. Tucci is a great restaurant in the heart of downtown Dublin and I will definitely be back again! read more

Recently named one of Columbus' Top 20 restaurants and bumping Trattoria La Tavola off the list, I went into Tucci's expecting good things. Perhaps my expectations were too high, or perhaps the restaurant isn't that great....regardless, Trattoria was better in terms of taste, quality, value, service, and especially noise level. The last part, honestly, is shocking considering my biggest complaint about Trattoria was the excessively loud bar. Arriving with an old college friend and her husband at 6:30, the space was relatively unoccupied and quiet. Bread was served promptly and was rich, heartly, crusty, and delicious. The mixture of balsamic and EVOO served along with the bread was equally delectable and quite complex. For appetizers they selected the calamari which I was told was quite good while I opted for the standout plate of the evening, the incredibly diverse and perfectly delivered octopus salad. The octopus was tender on the inside and crispy but perfect on the outside. For a mere $7 there was more octopus than you'd receive for double the price at a sushi joint and the flavor, texture, and accompaniments were better. The pinenuts fresh, the greens beautiful, and the chili oil spicey yet refined. One of the best salads I've had in some time. For our mains, two of us selected the Paella Style Risotto with lobster, rock shrimp, chorizo, mussels, mint pesto while the other chose the Spanish pizza. The pizza was spicy, but generally quite tasteless compared to the options ot Trattoria and Spagio....and not even within a breath of the options at Spago. The Risotto, while attractive and well flavored, seemed somewhat overpowered by the chorizo. I'm really not sure why the chef would select to place a spicy pork sausage in with such delicate seafood options, but IMO this is akin to the Simpsons episode where the chef offers to stuff the finest food with the second finest food.....lobster stuffed with tacos. The sauce was heavenly and the seafood well prepared, but in general I was underwhelmed. It was approximately 1/2 way through the main course that my friend noted "wow, this place got really loud all of a sudden." I'd thought the same earlier and opted not to mention it, but at this point it wasn't just noticable, it was obnoxious. While no specific person or table was loud, the entire place literally had a Buckeye Stadium-like "noise" similar to the moment before kickoff. While I'm certainly not a 'loud talker,' I felt like I was yelling at my dining buddies, something I don't like at all. While the meal was decently portioned for the prices, I felt the need to endulge and chose to get dessert. An Italian place without Tiramisu? Lame. While the Peanut Butter Cheesecake sounded interesting, I instead opted for the more complex Molten Chocolate Pudding Cake with Warm Cherry Compote and Hazelnut Gelato. While a solid choice and quite delicious, the cherry compote was vastly superior to the cake and the $8 pricetag seemed quite excessive for the small portion. The gelato was okay but certainly not on par with Jeni's, Worthington Inn, or Rosendales. I generally don't feel ripped off by dessert, but for the second time in a row a loud Italian restaurant in Dublin failed to deliver in the sweets category. The bill was modest, totalling $35 for appetizer, main, and dessert and service was okay (not good, not bad) but I just cannot get past the noise. While the food was good, it lacked the creativity of higher end places and the quality of local produce noted at Trattoria. While I would certainly return for bread and the Octopus salad, I cannot say I'll be rushing back or sending any of my friends to Tucci's anytime soon. If I were to return, it'd certainly be for the beautiful looking patio during the summer......but then again, I'd sooner sit and overlook the river with a better quality pasta at Trattoria. The wine list, from what I'm told, was quite adequate and well priced....which I guess could be responsible for the noise. If I could give 2.5 stars I would, but simply for the salad I'll round up. read more

Tucci is a great local restaurant in Dublin, Ohio on high street surrounded by a lot of really good restaurants. I have almost never been disappointed with their seafood here. In the summer it is an especially fun place to hang out outside with music playing either at the restaurant itself or a neighboring restaurant. Expect to wait a bit on weekend evenings because it is quite popular. I like the hummus here as well as the calamari fries. But the steamed mussels are my favorite appetizers. The broth is really flavorful and I'd recommend scooping it all up by dipping bread. For the entree's, the chef's catch is usually a choice where you can't go wrong. The sesame walleye is usually quite good as well, and when they have it, the sea bass is outstanding. I try to stick to the seafood here, but have also tried to short ribs, which are delicious. It is really nice to have such a quality restaurant in the Dublin area. read more

I love everything about Tucci's - the food, the service, the atmosphere, and the area! I have never tried anything that I don't like at Tucci's, and I've been for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! They have a large menu that ranges from Italian classics to specials unique to the restaurant. I've had several different waiters and even had the opportunity to speak to one of the owners, who was walking around ensuring that all customers were having a great experience. I love the new covered patio that they built - it really adds to the aesthetic and atmosphere. Bridge Park is a great area to walk around after your meal - all around a great spot! read more

This was my first visit and I would say it's okay, not great and probably will not return. I ordered the ribeye. The char on the steak was just brunt and that's all I could really taste. The meat was tender but had no flavor. My wife had the ahi tuna stack and thought it was good, but not good enough to come back. The wait staff and our server were great, but the atmosphere was lacking. We were seated along the long wall with bench seating. Unfortunately, given the closeness of our neighbors we got to hear their entire conversation for the length of our visit. read more

We finished our business meeting at Tucci's which one of our colleagues recommended. It sits in a small boutique district of Dublin and the restaurant is quaint and classy without being over the top. We came for a late lunch and were promptly sat. Our server was great...very attentive, polite and took good care of us! We began with a few apps...the Calamari fries, the Butternut Squash Ravioli and the Edamame. The ravioli was delectable, served in a walnut cream sauce and garnished with arugula pesto and candied walnuts or pecans. Superb, truly. The calamari fries were served in a brown paper basket/bag and garnished with feta and brined pepperoncini, and served adjacent to a roasted tomato dip (which I didn't try) and a cucumber raita type sauce that was very good. The calamari was very tender but the breading was a little soggy. Still one of the better calamaris that I've had, so much so that I found myself snacking on them even cold. The Edamame was interesting...tossed with toasted sesame oil and sea salt. For lunch, I ordered the Mushroom Ravioli which came served in a spicy Marsala tomato sauce. In all honesty it sounded really good but I'm not in love with mushrooms so ordering something else may have been a better idea. Thankfully the ravioli was very good. The sauce, however, was a overwhelmingly acidic although fresh tasting with large chunks of mushroom and tomatoes. I think a splash of cream while cooking would've went a long way in this dish but it was still A-OK. I'd return to Tucci's and if I'm back in town I plan to. The scallops, short ribs and filet all sound promising and trying the wood fired pizza is also on my list. This was our second visit to Tucci's for lunch in the last two weeks. The first visit was perfect. Great server, nothing could've been better. Today we had a few issues with service which I will share, in the hopes that Management will except this as constructive criticism. After being seated and placing our order, it seemed like an inordinate amount of time before our food was delivered. In the meantime, no bread was offered, although tables around us were all provided with bread baskets. We finally asked one of the bus staff to bring bread and oil which he promptly did. At the conclusion of our meal our water glasses were empty. No one offered to refresh them while we were dining. On the positive side, our meals(shrimp and sausage rigatoni, and smoked gouda mac and cheese with short ribs) were outstanding, and the atmosphere in the garden was lovely. It was a rather warm day, but there are plenty of umbrellas to provide shade and there was a light breeze which was refreshing. read more

Tucci's is an upscale Italian-style steakhouse that also serves brunch (I've only ever tried their brunch). Their restaurant is gorgeous - they have a swanky and comfortable dining room, a large bar, and an elegant outdoor patio, but the staff is approachable and it doesn't feel pretentious. I tried their bacon and spinach omelette, with coffee and fruit. The coffee was excellent. The omelette was quite good: well seasoned with a fresh Hollandaise sauce, crisp bacon and garnished with chives. The omelette (and most of their breakfast entrees) are served with Tucci's hash browns, which are fried potatoes garnished with peppers and onions. I was amazed by these hash browns, which were fresh and well-seasoned with very little grease. However, I was a bit disappointing by the fruit I ordered. It was a small portion and not particularly fresh. Additionally, the breakfast entrees are served with your choice of bread, which is nice, but the only jam/jelly they offer is the cheap plastic Smuckers containers you find in a roadside diner. Still, it was a tasty and relatively affordable breakfast and I look forward to trying the rest of the menu. read more

Wonderful friendly staff. The restaurant gives a nice ambiance on the inside. Our servers were excellent and super attentive. I had the sausage and shrimp rigatoni. It was, "meh". For the price of $19, I'd expect more meat. Sampled the cheese plate as an appetizer. It was good, and the mixture of the local honey made it really tasty. This place makes your meal more of an event to remember! Atmosphere is wonderful, food is amazing and the wine list is incredible, but it is the staff that really puts this gem over the top. They have recently enhanced the outdoor seating area and it is really lovely, it makes you want to linger a while longer. I can imagine the mushroom bruschetta being featured on the cover of a food and wine magazine it's just that perfect. I swear I could've eaten three orders of it. We all loved the crab cakes as well. As a longtime Dublin resident, I've driven by Tucci's a million times and have always noticed a good crowd. I hadn't eaten there for over a decade so thought I'd try it out again. It most certainly could have been better. First, I found it a bit odd that a place charging $43.00 for a 6oz filet charges for bread. The five slices of bread came with butter (still cold versus soft/spreadable) and a large bowl of oil. The oil didn't have a spoon with which my guest and I could put some on our plates, which in the age of COVID seemed shortsighted. When our meals came, the expediter warned us to "be careful as the plates were hot." I have NEVER understood why restaurants do that because it simply means our meals were sitting under a heat lamp losing juices and being overcooked. Though tasty enough, my filet looked strung together, but the demi topper I ordered wasn't on the steak but instead in a little cup for me to dip my steak in -- seemed less classy than I expected. My shrimp addition, however, was perfect. We ordered three veggie sides, with two undercooked and underseasoned (green beans and Brussels sprouts). The third -- spinach -- was very good, but lukewarm. My guest's lasagna seemed to be in a battle of the taste buds between the main red sauce and a layer of what we presumed was pesto. He left half of it untouched. For dessert, I ordered the chocolate cake only to be informed they no longer carried it. I replaced that order with the cheesecake only to be told "it was still frozen," which surprised me to learn a nice restaurant wasn't serving chef-made or locally acquired fresh desserts. To their credit, they did include a slice for the road that my daughter enjoyed the next day. All-in-all, not a good experience for a restaurant with lots of competition nearby. Came for Saturday brunch with some girlfriends. Very light crowd, great service and we all enjoyed our food. I had the breakfast croissant which offers a generous portion of fruit, croissant with two eggs, Canadian bacon, white cheddar and tomato as well as a side of hash browns. Fruit was fresh and the croissant sandwich was delish. The side of hash browns were good but pretty oily and filled with as many peppers and onions as potatoes. One of the best patio and food experiences in Columbus. The lunch specials they run are really nice because you can sample a few different things from their somewhat upscale menu and still be under $13-16. I've been here 3 or 4 times and most recently went to try their brunch menu. If it isn't the BEST steak and eggs I've had in CBus, it's gotta be a close second. The scrambled eggs were cooked perfectly which is often overlooked at other places. Fluffy, perfect texture, great taste. The filet was phenomenal and the hash browns were actually crispy, another area that places often go wrong. They bring out little mini muffins that are a nice touch, and the server was friendly and kept coffee flowing. Tuccis is all class. read more

I had always wanted go here, because on my weekly library trips, the patio looks gorgeous and there is often live music. So, I picked Tucci's it for a Happy Hour Birthday with a small group of friends. Very disappointing. The Happy Hour appetizers was extremely limited- and the one thing I wanted they said,?"Oh, we actually don't serve that anymore."' My friend has Celiacs and we have noticed that Mezzo, Cap City- lots of places have gluten-free options. Since this place seemed on par with its nice Dublin restaurants, we assumed there would be gluten-free apps. They had a few gf main dishes, but she couldn't have anything from the happy hour food menu. My hummus tasted odd and store-bought, the endamame was not unique or special. Could have been steamed-from-frozen at TJs- no different. There are so many people there on the patio, I think it was half-price wine bottle night. We had considered it, but again- the bottle selection was Ho-Hum-- nothing you couldn't pick up at a grocery store. The whole thing was very disappointing. I will not be back. read more

I want to start this by saying the food is absolutely delicious. Both times I've eaten here, I've been impressed with the taste. Maybe everything took a little longer because it restaurant week. Maybe our servers attitude at the beginning was because of restaurant week. Maybe the length of time between seeing our server was because of restaurant week. Regardless if this was the reason or not, we were extremely disappointed. Our reservation was for 8:15 for 14 people. They had us seated by 8:25 which was awesome. And because it's restaurant week.. I was so happy it was within 10 mins of our reserved slot. A few of us don't drink alcohol, so water was great when we sat down. The table settings were great. Everyone was happy. She took our drink orders. And then came back and asked if wanted appetizers. Then once the apps came out, she took our orders. Some ordered from restaurant week menu, a few didn't. While taking the order she asked how checks would be separated. About 20 mins later we got our first round of the menu. We didn't receive our main course for nearly an hour after... our food was delivered at 9:56.... we were enjoying each others company, as we don't always get time together, so we weren't upset yet, we figured - it's restaurant week, they're busy, and it's a big table. But our server was no where to be found when the food was being delivered. One meal was incorrect, but she was so hungry and had waited 10 minutes before just saying screw it and eating it, because we didn't see our server, or anyone for that matter. As I said at the beginning, the food was INCREDIBLE. So delicious. I highly recommend the salmon! However. We noticed the restaurant was actually pretty empty. It was after 10 at this point and servers were doing their side work, closing down the place. Our server then came back multiple times to clear the table. With a smile, the first time all night I didn't feel like I was a bother since I sat down. Unfortunately, at 10:40 we still hadn't received our checks or our desserts. She came back out to clear another dish, and we asked that we just get boxes to go. We had been there for over 2 hours and just wanted to go home. She had trouble printing to checks off, which surprised us since she asked at the beginning how checks would go. The cherry on top, was when she was fixing a check and the manager was walking around. We asked if he was the manager and started to explain we had been there a while, and he answered with 'she's getting the checks figured out, she'll be right out. Sorry for the wait'. When we weren't just talking about the checks. So again, felt like a bother. We were all standing around at this point because we had been sitting for so long, our drinks were empty, and we just didn't understand what the hold up was. One of our friends was able to cash out and leave, and we were still there after. We finally walked out of the restaurant at 10:55. 5 minutes before close. Most of this group used to work in restaurants, we never want to be the last people in a place so the crew can get home. But we literally had no choice. I will still be going back, because this was just 'one time'. I'm hopeful that our server was maybe a little newer. Or that it was just an off night in general. But when we are spending money like we did tonight, we definitely expected a better experience. read more

Let me start off with the service. It was very good as expected in a high end restaurant. That said, I was not impressed with the food. The lasagna was ok at best. It was too dry for my taste. The pizza was also not great. It was not hot when I received it. It did look good. The salmon did look good and well presented. I don't have anything else to add. read more
