This review is long overdue. I've gone here several times and they've all been great. Service can be a bit slow at times because there's usually 1-2 people working depending on the time of the day and how crowded it is. But other than that, no complaints. Price wise, they are on the pricier side. It's $8 for a cup but I guess with a bunch of toppings like that, I can't complain. I usually don't like toppings in my drinks but for here, I'm all for it. I had friends who saw the IG videos and wanted to try it. Not sure if the place caters but my aunt knew the owner so she had it catered for me for a going away party since I'm leaving for grad school abroad. My friends all liked it but when I told them it's $8/cup, they also thought it was pricey since Happy Lemon is in the same area and it's $6.75 for a large. Obv, that's no toppings but we can live without anyway, I'd recommend if you don't mind the price point cuz the toppings are unique and good! The tea also has a stronger tea taste which I really like. The toppings help to sweeten the drink since the tea taste is so strong. I do 75% sweet for my orders. I go once in awhile since it's a bit pricey but overall, good and would say to give it a try if you're thinking about stopping by. You won't be disappointed. read more

A different boba concept from most places and open pretty late compared to others. Located in the little Saigon of SJ, where the old T4 was, so I can imagine it gets busy during the day. We wanted boba after Round 1 and it was almost 11pm, most of the places we know was closed so we went here. I also saw reels about this place and their cheese shaped pudding so I was intrigued to try. When I got there they were already getting ready to close so I felt bad and just want to be quick with my order, but the menu was large and there were soooo many toppings to choose from! They also have combo drinks to choose from which I think was nice for indecisive people like me. The drinks were on a pricey side, small drinks like i got were ~$8 for up to 3 toppings. You can choose no toppings or 1 toppings for cheaper but they started around $7 already. This knocked down a point for me because this definitely not a spot for just a boba crave run. Other than that, I got a peach milk tea with cheese pudding, matcha pudding and boba. My friend got a mango chia tea with their choice of toppings (they'll put in random toppings that will go well with your drink). They both have real chunk of fruits in there, more like a jam fruit not real fruit chunks but it was nice to have. The cheese pudding was delicious and add a nice touch to the milktea. My friend's drink had chia seed, mango chunks, ice apple (from a coconut- like fruit), more jellies and water chestnuts boba. They all complimented each other really well and I think they did a good job on that! The store was nice and modern with LED lights and plenty of space to sit and take pictures. The staffs were very friendly and helpful with my order and even though I went pretty late they're still very friendly and patient with me. I've been a fan of all of their food and drink options since they started their small business (before they opened a storefront). Khoa (the owner) has always been very hands-on with customer relations, tending to feedback and accommodations. I'm sure I will never get bored of their creativity and will definitely be a frequent customer now that UJU is a little closer. They have so much potential; I can't wait to see them grow and expand their menu even more.  I usually order a Jasmine MT full topping and a Fresh Milk brown sugar with full topping. The tea is always strong and aromatic and creamy at the same time. I love having full topping because it keeps me surprised with all the flavors. My favorites are the cheese flan (both the premium and the standard), salted cheese, boba, and cheese balls (I hope to see this on the menu soon). Their toppings are flavorful and authentic and remind me of Vietnam. All the toppings with cheese are creamy but not overwhelming; it's a very addicting balance. So to hear they're having a store near me with an extensive menu was amazing! :) What I Ordered: Jasmine Full Topping Milk Tea (5/5) This one is a classic and I love how everything is so customizable, down to sugar level, ice, and even tea strength!! I appreciate that their milk teas don't taste watery at all. I chose the DIY option where I got to choose my own toppings and I thought that was so fun and yummy! There were so many options to choose from and the menu had pictures of every topping available. (P.S. Their flan jellies are so good and creamy, must try!!!) Green Thai Tea Full Topping (4/5) Again, love how customizable this one is. The tea flavor is strong and not diluted at all. I enjoyed this drink a lot and it's a close second to the Jasmine milk tea. I chose the same toppings as my jasmine milk tea and loved it. One of the staff members expressed his extreme displeasure to simply wipe down a dirty table when kindly asked by my grandmother. He was unnecessarily rude and disrespectful when we were literally the only people inside the establishment. As someone who works in food service as well, staff like this are the reason why places like this fail. Dessert was fine but being a decent person or at least having a decent attitude is more important than the food. I've been a fan of his toppings for a while and have been trying to get his milk teas every time we have a chance to go to San Jose. So glad he finally opens a store in Vietnam town, it's a bit closer for us now. We got there around 4pm on the opening day, not too crowded but the line moved pretty slowly. I ordered a full topping milk tea at first, but was quite disappointed about the topping choices the drink maker made. Note to the owner: since you just open and you have multiple topping categories, I think it would be nice to give at least 1 topping from each category so customers can try? I got like 3 bobas and 2 jellies... So, I decided to get back to the slow line to get my DIY milk tea this time. Took a while to order and some longer time for the drink maker to figure out the toppings... hopefully they will find a more efficient way to manage DIY next time.
