    Ube Halo Halo shaved ice
    Winnie Y.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cute and casual spot with a wide variety of drinks and toppings.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It seems to be a mix of Vietnamese and Korean inspired flavors/offerings. Mostly fruit teas and jellies. There's also a few snack/dessert items including shaved ice, rolls, and Korean hot dog (limited availability). I got an Ube Halo Halo shaved ice which was refreshing for the hot day but was lacking in flavor. The jellies are good, but I wish there was more of it. I tried some of my partner's milk tea drink as well. The items are really colorful and eye-catching, but the flavors are really light and could definitely use some improvement. Overall, Uju's is okay, and would be lower on the list amongst all the different boba/snack shops in the area.

banana milk tea and uju bag :p thx khoa!

i love love love uju so much !!!! me and my bf would come here sometimes after school, we are highschool grads now and sad that we're leaving college so we're def going to miss this place :( whenever we're hungry uju def is one of our options bc the hot foods are so yummy!!! dry noodle has to be my fav. such a good introduction to the cultural dishes they serve :D their drinks are supa good as well. i typically always get the banana/ube milk option for the build your own drink and it satisfies me a lot !! their coconut water matcha is really good as well hehe the workers are so nice and we really appreciate Khoa, the owner, and his kindness!! [[HIGHLIGHT]]the ambiance is very cozy and welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] i think the one thing i love abt this place too is that it's right next to tofu's trading!!! i've def ripped a lot of packs at uju, and got a lot of hits ~ maybe there's smth called uju luck o_o!! i would recommend this place to anyone passing by viet town :3

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a cute and cool place, so many options to choose from and how to customize your order I didn't know what to order.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I went with the most popular option the Jasmin milk tea with all the toppings, It was super good if you're into floral drinks. The toppings are cute to look at and all so tasty as well. Definitely will be back for some snack treats as well.

The banana milk and poke-bake were much more filling that I thought they'd be. The masago poke bake was good but I don't think I'd get it again. It was beautifully put together and tasted good but it doesn't come with that much rice and the cucumber took away from the savoriness. I recommend asking for no cucumber. The banana milk with all the toppings was good. The staff member with the short dyed hair was super helpful! He explained how to eat / drink the drink since it was my first time. He said to take sips and eat some jelly as I go. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There is seating inside, perfect for catching up with friends[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Banana Coffee w/o cheese cream

I tried their Banana Cheese Coffee, without the cheese. It's hella good! The folks here are hella nice too. Right when you walk in, they ask you if you've ever tried their products, and if you haven't they proceed to help you find the drink that best suits your taste buds and cravings. The place is also very ADA compliant and friendly. This is important for me, because my beautiful wife is ADA. Thank you UJU for the great hospitality and experience! I'll definitely be back, to try your other coffee suggestions, but I'm excited to drink the banana coffee again! 20/10 overall for this visit!

    Milk Tea Full Toppings

Visited last year, just a bit after they opened. Was hunting down boba around but gave in to trying new things here. Dessert here is similar to che but different in a way. Service was great, super friendly. Major complaint is that they give tons of ice and didn't offer reductions at the time, not sure about now. Price is also pretty steep all things considered. They do a good job at honoring sugar adjustments, so the lower levels don't taste terrible. Milk tea was also surprisingly decent for a spot that doesn't specialize in boba. If you're picking toppings, I would skip the jellies and just get the flans. While the jelly is super basic and offered at most Asian dessert spots, the flan was super soft and creamy, packed with flavor, and cheesy. Premium desserts were the items like the cheese flan while regular toppings were everything else.

Late review. It also took twenty to twenty-five minutes for two drinks (or a drink and che? can't remember what my friend got) even though it wasn't busy at the time. I've never been back since as there are other boba shops nearby that are much faster. I've also never gone to a boba shop where the worker recommends we zelle him. I can't remember what I put false advertising for though.

    Rose tteokbokki and coffee flan
    Thuy N.

We got the rose tteokbokki and the coffee flan, which both tasted great. The rose tteokbokki has rice cake, fish cake, sausage, cabbage. The coffee flan has coffee jelly and their signature cheese slice. I was there around noon time and they didn't have any sushi to order. The service was okay. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place is cute.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Cute little boba shop with exciting toppings to choose from! Since it was our first time there the guy working helped us and really surprised us with the topping choices. My siblings really enjoyed coming here and we will come back.

The boys that work here are very friendly and cordial. Excellent service from this tea shop. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I personally love the vibes and the decor here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Their egg cream is really tasty. I did not expect it to go well with the Vietnamese Coffee. The toppings that they offer here are quite nice. Matcha Flan, Ube Flan and other flan toppings are amazing.

banana milk tea + cheese jello
    Angelica H.

I like that this boba place copied the concept from socal (the many types of toppings / cheese jello) but I think their drinks are pretty expensive for what it is. The milk tea with 8 toppings was $9 & the cheese jello was also $3 which is quite pricy for just the jello. I recommend this place just to try if you haven't experienced having milk tea with various jellos / puddings but it's honestly a bit pricey in my opinion.

    green thai milk tea
    Megan T.

Such a fun spot with so many different toppings to pick from! It's located in a plaza so there is a parking lot and the staff were friendly. There's a couple of tables indoors for seating. I ordered one of their best sellers, the green Thai milk tea. I typically don't like green Thai tea because it tastes a bit medicinal to me, but this spot made it well & I didn't get that flavor and really enjoyed this drink! It was loaded with different kinds of toppings like jellies, pudding, and boba. Solid spot to get your sweet fix.

    Monica V.

Saw this on a social media video and had to check it out for myself. I was not disappointed. I like that you had options to choose which topping you wanted or just let the servers surprise you. I went with the surprise and everything was good. My husband liked them too but was only upset because he didn't know what the jellies were called so get them again. Guess I have to go back with him so he can pick his toppings.

I personally found their side dishes to be only okay; the fish cakes were a little tough, and the variety didn't appeal to me as much as some others that I have had. That said, the main dishes are really good. I have tried their seafood pancake & crab tofu soup, both of which I really enjoyed! I will say that, the following day, I felt really bloated with sodium, which dampens my enthusiasm a little bit, but overall the food was great. Parking was pretty easy, as the shop is located in a plaza with a number of other shops, including other eateries. The interior is on the small side, though--despite really cramming the tables in, there was still a decent wait, as the spot seems popular as a dinner location. I think it's worth the wait, personally. Overall, I do recommend this spot. The food is great, the service is efficient, and their menu is appealing. The prices & portions are standard to what you can expect from a tofu soup spot, but the wider variety of tofu soups stands out. I might limit my visits, as the bloating is definitely a bit uncomfortable, but I do plan to come back.

For the cold noodles, it was pretty refreshing and a bit light in flavor. It came in a icy vinegary broth with noodles, half a boiled egg, pickled daikon and some pieces of galbi (short rib). Also had option of adding more vinegar and/or mustard if you wanted. The noodles were chewy but that's how it is, recommend asking for some scissors to cut the noodles if it's hard to chew. For the spicy buckwheat cold noodles, it had much more flavor, had a gochujang base, and thicker. It came with half a boiled egg, pickled daikon and pieces of galbi. For the tofu soup, we got the chicken and mushroom which was fine. In addition, the sides were good as well. Service was good.

We ordered the beef soup and the appetizer short ribs, which is about 6 pieces. The sides were good, special shout out to the warm jjapchae! The short ribs came out sizzling, and had a great char with a sweet soy sauce flavor. Meat was tender and had the perfect chew to it, such a comfort meal with the rice. The beef soup came boiling, and there was a generous amount of beef, mushrooms, and tofu. The only complaint I have is the soup ratio was less than what I'm used to so about halfway through the pot there wasn't much soup left to pour onto the rice the way I normally do. But that's not a bad thing, means you're getting more protein! Service was great, but it's a bit expensive from what I'm used to so I docked a star. I'll check out other places and see if this is just the normal pricing for the area.

We ordered the marinated meats combo and wanted to add the fried dumplings, but were told they were sold out. This is actually the second time we've come here hoping to try the dumplings, and they've been unavailable both times. Since we came on a quiet weekday, I was surprised they were already out. It also would have been nice if our server had suggested another appetizer instead of just telling us they were unavailable. When we first sat down, our server asked if we'd been there before, which we had, but neither our server nor the person grilling our meat introduced themselves. Throughout the meal, there wasn't much interaction. I also asked for bowls of rice when we ordered, and was told they came with the combo. After all the meat had been served, we still hadn't received the rice, so I had to ask for it again in the middle of our meal. One thing that would have made the experience better was if the staff member grilling the meat had let us know what was being cooked. They quietly grilled and served everything without saying which cuts we were eating, so we were left guessing until I finally asked. A little explanation would have gone a long way, especially for a restaurant that's known for tableside service. The food itself was definitely the highlight. The beef belly and hanger steak were both delicious and I'd order them again. That said, when you're spending well over $100 for a combo, you expect service that feels a little more welcoming and attentive. The restaurant wasn't busy during our visit, so it wasn't a situation where the staff seemed overwhelmed. Overall, the food was enjoyable, but the service felt uninterested, and that's what kept this experience from being a great one.

It feels just like a warm hug in a bowl! Their cold noodles, both spicy and non-spicy versions, are refreshing and perfect for cooling down summer heat. We also almost always order the mo deum soo yook for extra protein. It's a combination plate with boiled beef brisket, tail, and tendons. You will have to season them yourself with salt and pepper, but beef is always so soft and tender. I highly recommend ordering this only if you're dining with a group of 3 or more because the portion is huge! After finishing your meal, they'll serve you a yakult, super yummy and great for digestion (super thoughtful of them) They're busy and almost always have a waitlist, especially during peak dinner hours.
