The first time I heard of this place, my coworker suggested it as a delivery option for our night shift. I was in the moment I heard they had mochi in tea (like WHAT!). Sadly, my tea (and ONLY my tea) never arrived. As soon as I woke up the next day, I commanded my boyfriend to get in the car, we are getting mochi in tea, damn it. Rating Breakdown: 2/2 Stars for Taste -- I can't get over mochi in tea. Genius. Groundbreaking. Why hasn't anyone thought of this before? My favorite drink is the brown sugar boba with mochi milk tea. My friend really likes the mochi with taro tea, whereas my boyfriend's favorite is the taro with pudding. (Pro-tip: Order the taro drinks with full sugar because they kind of taste like fragrant potato if not.) Also tried the fried mini octopus, which was crispy and delicious even 1 hour later! 0.5/1 Stars for Value -- Gone are the days of buying boba for $4. My wallet cries every time I buy these $6 drinks. Snacks will run you about $8 for a shareable portion. **Don't forget to ask for your stamp card to earn a free drink!** 0.5 Stars for Customer Service -- Love that you can order online, but add about 15-20 minutes to the estimated pickup time during peak hours on weekends. Also, I'm still a little miffed that they forgot my milk tea the first time. Bonus star because I've definitely told everyone I know about the mochi tea and have come here way too many times in the past month. read more

The boba shop replaced the Quickly location. I ordered through their tablet. First time trying out their large brown sugar boba . I requested 0% ice and least sugar. The drink is really good actually. First sip can taste the boba still fresh warm! Anyway, love this non caffeine boba drink. And I'm glad that they allow customers to adjust sugar & ice. Parking sucks cause it's in a busy plaza but their drinks and customer service is amazing so it makes up for it. This took over where Quickly's used to be. The grape green tea with cheese mousse was bomb! And I normally don't like grape but it's a subtle grape flavor. The mango pomelo sago was also refreshing. Not too sweet. Only downside is there are some drinks you can't adjust the sweetness. 5/5 would go back. Can't wait to try the other drinks! read more

Tuesday tea! Ordered a few drinks online before heading over to Ume and very glad it was ready by the time I arrived. -Taro & Mochi Black tea latte: my first time trying drinkable mochi and I was quite pleased. It's soft and very palatable! The taro wasn't a paste like I expected, but the chunkiness added a bit of texture to the drink. There was no option to select the sugar level so I was very surprised that the tea itself tasted like it did not have added sugar. Luckily the taro was sweetened to balance out the drink. (Definitely add a note in your online order if you like your drinks on the sweet side though) $5.65 is the default which is kind of pricey for the small cup size -Lemon Green tea w/ tea jelly: a citrusy refreshing drink with fresh slices of lime (not lemon lol). Note that there is a bit of a bite to it, like the taste of lemon/lime rind. The tea jelly tastes more sweet rather than having tea flavor. This drink comes in the large cup for $4.95 Between here and Ume in Milpitas, I can say they are pretty consistent with their drinks. Their sugar levels are on point and accurate to me, but I guess that is subjective right? I just wish they used one size cup so you know what you're gonna get. read more

Love their grapefruit green tea slush! Super refreshing and delicious. I'm usually a huge grapefruit lover, so this drink was perfect for me. They even put a few slices of fresh grapefruit in it along the sides! My friends ordered a few other drinks and they all enjoyed theirs a lot as well! Review is for the popcorn chicken: I was looking for Taiwanese popcorn chicken (clumpy) and saw images of the one here so decided to try it. I ordered from their website and it was done in 15 minutes. They use chili flakes from chili peppers here. I got medium spice and still added some cayenne pepper on top for more spice. I believe the bottom pieces had more spice (chili flakes). The flavor could be more bold and the crisp is not lacking with this popcorn chicken! It would be better if there was basil too. I saw that on their website, they had basil in the image but did not have any in my popcorn chicken. I recommend their popcorn chicken if you're looking for Taiwanese popcorn chicken. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by the drink. I wasn't given the option to alter the sweetness level but it wasn't too sweet! I think that's the perfect Asian compliment. I would definitely order this drink again. As for the service, there were a lot of orders and the staff seemed overwhelmed. Had to wait more than 15 minutes, but it was understandable. FLAVOR (3.5/5) Tried their white peach oolong tea with boba, less sweet, less ice. Couldn't taste white peach very strongly but the oolong tea was strong enough not to be bitter! It was super creamy as well, which I particularly enjoy in milk teas. The boba when handed to me was warm at the bottom of my cup and was the correct QQ texture. INSTAGRAM WORTHY (3/5): It's where the old Quicklys used to be in this plaza. Still very cheesy Asian decor with not much of a wow factor in the store. The bunny logo on the lid of the cup compensates a bit on the cuteness factor. SERVICE (4/5): Didn't interact with anyone working because of COVID. They have a self ordering machine with a card reader next to it, so fully self service. They place your bags with receipts and call out numbers once your order is ready. The girl server was super upbeat and sang to every Chinese song that came on the speakers. TAKE AWAYS: Really appreciated their boba balls here, but the tea is average imo. Wouldn't go out of my way to come here again, but would stop by again if I happened to be in the plaza. Super cute boba shop in the Asian plaza on wolfe road. As a rabbit mom, I love their bunny hugging a boba logo Their boba is also super sweet and flavorful! I ordered the Black milk tea with pearls and taro 25% sweet and no ice. There was lots of real taro! My husband ordered the taro pamelo sago light sweet with no ice. This one only comes in one size and next time we would probably pass on this one. There were four of us age range between 23-60 and all of us had trouble reading the menu because the print was so small but we figured it out eventually and the pictures on the screen and ordering screen were helpful. read more

I ordered the beef shawarma lavash wrap and picked the falafel and hummus for my two sides. My husband ordered the lamb shawarma lavash wrap with babaghanouge and tabouli. He also ordered a date milkshake and I got a Diet Coke. They give you a device that vibrates when your order is ready. There were lots of places to sit. We picked a spot and waited. Our food was ready fast in seven minutes. I thought when the device vibrated we were supposed to pick up our food at the front counter. That wasn't the case. Our food was brought to us quickly by a nice employee, which was awesome. The food was delicious. The wraps were fully stuffed with meat. My sure of falafel was amazing. In fact, the next time I come here, I'm going to order the falafel wrap. The hummus was good as well. My husband loved his lamb shawarma lavash wrap. His babaghanouge was really flavorful and he loved his tabouli salad. Both dishes came with two pieces of their freshly made pita bread. They have an area of condiments that you can self serve as well as a self serve fountain drinks. I got us both some chipotle tahini and cilantro mint sauce for our wraps. Both were very good. Having worked in customer service myself, I know how easy it is to simply acknowledge someone. What I experienced here was pure hostility and a passive-aggressive power trip. When I spoke up firmly to get my order, they gave me attitude and then turned around to file a completely bogus, retaliatory "safety" complaint against my account. It is disgusting for staff to treat workers with such disrespect and then abuse their power to report false accusations just because they were held accountable for their awful service. Management seriously needs to investigate staff behavior at the pickup counter and stop enabling employees who misuse their position to harm workers' livelihoods.

What I received was a drink in an opaque cup (see photo). I couldn't immediately notice that they forgot to add the boba to the cup before walking out of the shop. I only discovered the error after I returned home, poked the straw through the lid and took my first sip. This was incredibly disappointing and it was not worth making the trip back to the store to have them fix this. The shop is small with a little seating inside. No restrooms. There is parking at this shopping center, which is fine during off hours. Good luck with parking during peak hours.

Our drinks came out quickly after placing the order, it's very much a place where you can expect not to have any interaction with the staff. I felt that the amount of toppings was too much texture and took away from the nature of milk tea, but if you're into multiple toppings and different textures this is the spot for you. Prices in general are also on the more affordable side compared to other local shops. I'd be open to trying this spot again, but I'd definitely hold back on the toppings next time. Also not sure if I would get the store specialty again, even with fewer toppings, since I didn't feel that the milk tea itself was standout in any particular way.

This is THE milk tea spot to go to when you're in the area(cupertino). My girlfriend and I love the black milk tea here. Sweetness levels are always accurate. The tea is aromatic and creamy. Service is great and fast, but be aware this place gets really crowded at night around 8-10 PM, which makes sense because they're one of the few tea shops that open this late. They're very consistent, the cups and decor are cute, and you could order through kiosks at the front. If you want to make a custom change, there is a section where you could type your requests. Popcorn chicken is good. They also have a variety of other snacks, but I'm mostly here for the tea. The price about average. Umi Tea is seriously underrated, definitely a five-star spot in my book. I was genuinely shocked by how delicious the Mango Coconut Twilight was. The blend of coconut and mango was perfectly balanced and so refreshing. This location has always taken amazing care of me and their customers, no matter how busy they get. It's located inside Cupertino Village, a cute plaza filled with shops and a market. In my recommendation I would work that into the model. You have the product but why lose out to competitors? ex Starbucks, any location I go to, the whole team has eyes on you as you walk through the door with a "good morning!" "The" Phin Coffee is a unique experience; you get to prepare the drink to your liking. The Milo Coffee and Nutella Banana Coffee became new favorites that are hard to find elsewhere. I'll note that the default sweetness might be a bit much for the average person. I've tried a few snacks and thought they were fine. The Pâté Chaud was fresh & tasty. However the Egg Puff and the biscotti that comes with the Phin Coffee were more average. The service is friendly. They often provide good tips, like warning how much caffeine is in the large drinks & how best to prepare the Phin Coffee. It's also fun to watch them film new content for social media. The vibes are on-point. The inside is well-decorated & lit. There is complimentary Wi-Fi, charging, & restrooms. It's good for solo or small groups. My final comment is that this plaza's parking lot fills up on the weekends, so finding a spot was more challenging than expected. But it's always been worth it!

I tried the hot milo latte, which tasted like a hot chocolate with espresso, pretty good. The iced banana latte was really good. All in all I'd go back when craving an iced coffee.
