My favorite was the classic cheesecake (4 1/2 stars), followed by the Cookies 'n Cream version (4 stars) which didn't really taste like cookies n'cream but had a nice flavor to it. Uncle Tetsu staff opened the store on time and had cakes ready to go, which is great because our parking meter was running out. There was no line go get in the small shop, no line to order and no wait to get our cake. I know this is supposed to be a "cheese cake" but I really want to call this "sponge cake". This is a really small location so it does get full pretty fast but the workers are working extremely hard working to give us fast and accommodating! Really enjoyed the both cakes, my only issue was I got a small cake and it was kind of creamy to the point where I feel like it was slightly undercooked. Did it still taste good? Yes! But the texture was creamy and soft compared to light and fluffy but if any one were to try this without having them before, they probably wouldn't notice. Love that they have a small size! My colleague let me try Ube, and she's from Hacienda Heights. It was our first time, and it was so delicious, fluffy, and hard to resist! I immediately checked out the one near me. I found one in Ktown. I was so excited that I bought four and gave two to my relatives. But since we've already had it once, we were hoping for the same taste. So, when we tried it, we were disappointed; it tasted different, even though it wasn't sweet, still fluffy, but it felt like it was underbaked or not baked properly. When we cut it, it stuck and clumped on the knife. I haven't been back since. I thought they all tasted the same.
