Urban Plates made my night, and a huge part of that was thanks to Pao at the counter. From the moment I walked up, Pao set the tone with genuine warmth, patience, and an attention to detail that you don't see every day. They didn't just take my order -- they made sure I felt taken care of. Pao walked me through the menu with real enthusiasm, offered thoughtful suggestions, and made the whole process feel effortless. It's clear they take pride in what they do, and it shows in the way they treat guests. That kind of service elevates the entire dining experience. The food was fresh and delicious as always, but Pao's kindness and professionalism are what truly stood out. Urban Plates is lucky to have someone like them representing the restaurant. I'll definitely be coming back -- and I hope Pao is there the next time I

My finance and I were at the Sunday fair at 2nd and PCH , decided to grab lunch here. First time at this place and love it. You order at the register/ pay and pick an open seat. Staff finds you and brings your food out when ready. Being our first time here the staff at the register was super helpful and patient while we decided. I ordered the chicken Cobb salad , but I don't like blue cheese and asked to switch to Parmesan cheese. Amazing salad !! Everything was so fresh. chicken was tender and juicy , loved that it came with both white and brown meat of the chicken. The portion size was huge ( picture does not show how big it is). They had a lot of appealing items on the menu and we plan on coming back to try More.

I wanted something healthy but satisfying after my recovery session at sweathouz and urban plates sure delivered! The surf and turf was great; my steak was cooked perfectly. Tried my partners salmon and it was really good as well. Sides were cooked to perfection and overall just very happy with the meal and experience. I'll definitely be back!

After a morning of exercise, we stopped in for a late lunch. I ordered two chicken strips, macaroni & cheese, and a Caesar salad. My friend had a house salad (hold the jicama) with grilled salmon. We both had the dragonfruit lemonade. Each of our meals were enjoyable and service was excellent. Eddie made sure that we had everything we needed at our table and checked in after we began eating. The restaurant was clean and had several other patrons at different tables without being too busy or crowded.

Wow this place was sooo delicious. Hubby and I wanted to eat something healthy while walking around 2nd and PCH and this joint hit the spot! It was immaculate inside. Lots of space. And the food was so dang good. I got the blackened salmon with mushrooms and potatoes and I ate it all so fast like it was a race because it was just that good! Brought the BFF to the Shops on 2nd after wine tasting on a Friday evening since we were close by & had never been. Was getting a little hungry and was trying to decide where to eat with the limited amount of restaurants in this shopping center and came across this place. I am not a big fan of order at the counter types of restaurants but I get the concept is pretty popular with such places as Woodfire Grill, Lemonade, Corner Bakery, to name a few...anyway, I ordered the grilled chicken breast plate with mac n' cheese and brussel sprouts. My BFF ordered the grass fed steak plate with mashed potatoes and broccoli. The portion sizes are perfect (not too small, not too big) but the food was lacking flavor. My mac n' cheese was too watery and the chicken still had the skin on it but not crispy as it was Haisan style, which grossed me out. The chicken was also a bit overcooked as it was rubbery in some pieces. My friend liked his steak but he said overall it was lacking flavor. Their natural soda selection is nice, but also overpriced. Overall, we paid 52 bucks for two entrees and two drinks, which is pricey for an order at the counter type of place. Food quality is better than fast food, of course, but I'd rather frequent Corner Bakery instead. Service was great, though, and one of the managers asked us to rate the place on Google for a free oatmeal cookie. The cookie was good but super crumbly. I doubt I would patronize this location again, but perhaps willing to try another location.

My girlfriend swears by this place! My friend has a lot of autoimmune diseases and when I eat anything delicious I'm flaring in bed for days. So she recommended it! Coincidentally, it's been on my mom's list of places to try as well. I drive by all the time. I parked in the closest parking garage and it wasn't a far walk at all. This place is located at 2nd and PCH which has a bunch of great stores and atmosphere. Also, a lot of parking. Some close up, some not so close up if you don't mind the walking When I walked in there was a counter you order at and the huge menu. They had great options like turmeric ginger rice and hummus. So I ordered one of their plates. The - Chimichurri Grass Fed Steak and then it comes with two sides. (I ordered The turmeric rice and hummus) I also got the Chimichurri on the side) We also ordered- The braised beef and mushrooms. seasoned natural beef, slow cooked with red wine sauce, whole mushrooms, yellow onions, organic carrots, celery, garlic and fresh parsley They also offer a bunch of organic drinks such as organic lemonade and organic teas and etc Fresh ingredients and none of that added stuff. This place has food for vegans, vegetarians and good food that actually fills me up without flaring me too bad Also, the organic mashed potatoes with no gravy were awesome After we ordered they give you a number for your table and bring it to you. The place was extremely packed on a random day and random hour. But they do have a huge amount of seating It did come out really fast, so I was impressed. We did get back up to look at the desserts in the case. Everything looked amazing but we were so stuffed. (They have hummingbird cake, which where I am from it's sooo popular. I'm coming back for this) Prices were great to be honest They have a pretty large menu for everyone Great outdoor seating that's dog friendly They do catering Side note. They take food allergies serious. So if you have any, don't hold back. There's plenty of options. Whatever diet you are on, here's the place to go. They also have a lot of low calorie options

Always a solid choice. We ordered the salad niçoise, truffle fries, and the Mediterranean bowl--everything was fresh, well-balanced, and exactly what we were craving. Paola was wonderful: attentive, friendly, and made the experience feel easy and relaxed. We especially love coming here because there are plenty of options, the location at PCH & 2nd is super convenient with parking, and the healthier menu items with calorie information make it easy to stay on track with macros while still enjoying a meal out. Finished with the mango tart, which was the perfect light dessert. Consistently reliable and enjoyable.

This is the Urban plates at 2nd and PCH in Long Beach. There is plenty of parking on site. The parking garage if free for the first 90 minutes. Then after that it is $2 per hour. There is free street parking on the Marina side of the center. Urban Plates is Casual chain restaurant with a cosy, rustic and industrial vibe. Order at the check-in stand or from the QR code posted on your table. You can pretty much make your own plate with multiple protein choices including chicken, turkey, steak, shrimp or salmon. They have lots of sides to choose from such as mashed potatoes, a variety of veggies, french fries etc... Your plate includes 2 sides of choice and a slice of bread. They also have burgers, sandwiches, salads as well as yummy desserts, beer and wine. Lots of options to choose from. They have a self serve water station. Today i had the grilled steak which is cooked medium by default (pink in the middle). It comes cut in small slices. On the side i ordered the truffle fries and the garlic parmesan mushrooms. For the sauce i tried the Lemon Hollandaise for the first time. The steak was tender but a bit chewy. I did not care for the lemon Hollandaise sauce and it did not pair up well with the steak. I recommend the Chimichuri instead which is my usual go to and my favorite. The garlic parmesan mushrooms and the truffle fries were really good. Prices are average and the staff is always very friendly and accommodating. I always have a good experience there. Great for a quick, tasty and casual meal anytime. I recommend trying them out.

Urban plates will always do you a solid. Lots of healthier and tasty options, and the offerings have always been on point. Total reliability. Today I had the portobello sandwich and sesame broccoli- both very agreeable. They also have some neat drinks and dessert options. Service has always been quick and interior is clean. I love the lack of plastic- all metal utensils and water dispenser with paper cups.

My parents and I love coming to Urban Plates. We enjoy the variety, quality, and taste of the food, and we've visited many different locations over time. However, what made our experience at the Long Beach location stand out this time was Anthony. Anthony went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Found this great new meeting place for lunch today. Walking into it was such a lovely ambiance. You order at counter and food is delivered to table. The menu offered quite a few options. We really liked their $12 and under menu. The wait to order was about 5 minutes and served to table within 5 minutes. I ordered the tomato basil soup with half grilled chicken sandwich. Nice lunch portion size. All three of us commented on how the soup was tasty and satisfying. My chicken was grilled perfectly, retaining that juicy tenderness and the bread it sat on was as if it was freshly baked. An employee made her rounds to the table asking us if we needed anything. Overall, it was such a lovely experience. Know that this restaurant imposes a 3% food surcharge. I was told by the employee, they are charging me to help offset their operational costs. I noticed this surcharge is added to your subtotal and you will pay the 10.25% Long Beach sales tax. Keeping this disclosure in mind, I think this place is worth considering if you haven't tried it. read more

I have been eating cleaner and cannot stomach greasy or heavy food. Urban plates has come into my life and it makes me so happy. Their ahi tuna Niçoise salad is a flavor bomb in the mouth. The dressing? Yes friend. It deserves a shout out of its own. Burger? So good. They are charred (including the bun). Next time I would ask for less char for my daughter's bun. The meat, though...it slapped. I am drooling just thinking about it. The fries were soo good (the few that I had). The only thing that was off was the tomato soup with and without the pesto. It tasted...sweet. I couldn't explain why or how. It also took awhile to get our food, but it was made fresh so I won't complain too much. My daughter got grilled chicken...that kids meal was such a good deal. This place is healthy and delicious. Yum. read more

I was part of a group of 42 people who came here for lunch, and it was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever seen. We had called twice beforehand, and a lady named Anna confirmed they could accommodate a large group. When we arrived, they made everyone order one by one at the counter, which was completely unorganized for a group this size. Our tour leader paid over $1,250 plus gratuity for everyone, yet the service was a disaster. Orders were mixed up, incomplete, and delayed. Some people got their meals while others at the same table waited endlessly. The staff were rude and dismissive when we tried to get missing items fixed. I personally witnessed our tour leader waiting over 45 minutes for her food, which never came. When she asked for a refund after such a long wait, the cashier actually threatened to call security instead of apologizing. It was shocking to see such unprofessional and disrespectful behavior toward paying customers, especially after bringing them such a large group. I would never recommend this location to anyone planning a group meal. read more

You can order and pay ahead specifically for dine-in which is a feature I've never experienced before but I wish was more common because I personally would do that anytime I could. You have to pick a random service number when you order online, let the front desk know when you arrive, they seat you & then the food comes out to your table--with reusable dinnerware. I've seen their advertisements for the dishes that are $13 or under (this "budget" price could change) so I wanted to order from these selections to see if they're worth it because I enjoy budget-friendly (but quality) eats--feels like I'm making good adulting choices which is a form of self-care. :-D The Hot Tender Chicken Sandwich is juicy on the inside and crispy (and saucy) on the outside. The bread is soft (which I love) and the flavor was delicious. I upgraded to pair it with french fries which I don't regret. Compared to other places that offer hot chicken sandwiches, Urban Plates offers a much more affordable option. Other dishes my family had were the Grilled Chicken sandwich, the Moroccan Braised Chicken (with rice), and classic Crispy Tender Sandwich--all on their value menu options. We enjoyed our meals. Apart from the value menu, they have other options like salmon, lamb, steaks which are are reasonably priced compared to other restaurants. They are worth trying out. The service is efficient (especially since we ordered ahead), helpful and friendly--although the food didn't come out exactly at the same time...which gave us a bit of an awkward wait since we always wait til everyone has their food before we start eating. But it's all forgiveable and we'll definitely come back and eat here again. The dining area is large and has a combination vibe of casual but also trendy and stylish. read more

Wow! My first time at Urban Plates in Long Beach at 2nd/PCH mall. Looked for a healthy spot close by (4 min) from AIM Sports Complex while my son was at basketball practice. The blackened Salmon and Seabass plates were sooooo good. For sides, we had beets, quinoa, asparagus and brussel sprouts. We were so hungry and devoured both plates. Whoops no pics. On top of that, the single slice of warm crispy bread (with olive oil and butter) was delicious. Alejandro Lopez provided amazing service! While we were trying to do the math, our waiter stood over us watching the payment screen like he was supervising a final exam. He was clearly waiting to make sure a tip was entered. My aunt politely asked him to give us a minute, and thankfully he walked away. Maybe when you see a family actively calculating a bill, that's your cue to...actually give them a minute. The guy and girl behind the bar looked at each other, laughed, and then asked if I was a paying customer. Keep in mind, I was literally holding a to-go bag with leftovers from the restaurant. I responded, "Yeah, I just finished eating," while holding up the bag that made it painfully obvious. Only then did they tell me where the restroom was. Nothing says "valued customer" quite like being interrogated about whether you actually ate there while carrying your leftovers. It's unfortunate because the food had some highlights, and the restaurant itself has a cute atmosphere. But the service made it feel like customers are viewed more as transactions than guests. Between hovering over us during payment and questioning whether I even belonged there after spending money, I left feeling more unwelcomed than satisfied. I'll happily support a restaurant that appreciates my business instead of making me feel like I have to prove I earned the right to use the restroom after paying for dinner.

I showed up around 5pm and sure enough there was already a line forming in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is located around a neighborhood, so you have to find street parking, which can be challenging. I already did my research on what I wanted to order, so my process went fairly smoothly. I imagine some other people were not as prepared and asked a lot of questions at the counter which can make the wait time even longer for other people in line. We ordered caesar salad, pizza focaccia with soppressata, squid ink tonnerelli, and ribeye tagliata. We also ordered some glasses of wine. After ordering, they walked us to our table inside. This location used to be a bbq restaurant- shady grove- before they closed down. And wow I was so impressed by the change of the patio vibe. It looked way nicer now under Due Fuori. I truly believe the vibe of a restaurant is equally important to the quality of the food, and this place nailed it. Also, apparently you can still order more stuff even after you're seated. They don't really have dedicated server for each table but the service was pretty efficient in my opinion. Now the food, everything was delicious, I have no notes! Caesar salad, very good. Pizza, omg amazing. And I'm not a pizza kinda person, so this is really a compliment! It's the thick kind of pizza, and they put some honey on it too which makes it even more delicious to me. Next was the squid ink pasta, another delightful dish. My only complaint is that it's not big enough of a portion, haha! The ribeye tagliata was so good. It was served with some salad that's very refreshing. The server explained to us that the original dish comes with the greens and cherry tomatoes underneath the meat, but they serve it separately to keep the freshness and crunch. The meat has some nice crust on the outside, very flavorful. We ended up taking some of the ribeye home, as we were already really full. It was plenty of food to share between two people. I definitely will come back to try other dishes, especially the other popular pasta dishes. This place has been really popular and I heard the line is still long even after a few months (or maybe it has been a year now?). I recently went with a rather large group for Sunday lunch at Urban Plates in Long Beach, CA, and I must say, it was a very pleasing experience. A well deserved 5-star rating for their food and the exceptional service provided by their staff. To start, we received exceptional service from Chef Felipe, who took the time to come out and check on our table prior to leaving his shift. His love for the kitchen and those who get to enjoy of his work is clearly visible. The chicken tenders I ordered were cooked to perfection, crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside with great flavor! The side of Mac and cheese was creamy, cheesy, and had the right balance of flavors. Equally deserving of praise are the waitresses Mariana, Leslie, and Emily. They were friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about ensuring our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. With a large group attention to detail within the table is often lost however they offered helpful recommendations, checked in for refills and quickly addressed any requests we had. Their warm and welcoming demeanor added to the overall enjoyment of the meal and time spent. I greatly recommend Urban Plates in Long Beach to anyone seeking a great and comfortable dining experience. Food was amazing, hubby and I are trying to eat healthier and absolutely love that there are countless amounts of healthy (AND delicious!) options to choose from to build your meal. Bonus plus is that they have kid plates too! Hubs got the surf n turf with mashed potatoes and rainbow carrots, he enjoyed them all. Overall he'd give it 4.5/5. I got the blackened salmon with brussel sprouts and roasted mushrooms, to say the least I scarfed it down, can't complain a single bit. The hollandaise on the salmon was exceptional! 5/5 Our son got the kids mac n cheese with fries and bread. It came out hot and with spirals. Not as runny cheesy as other places but my son didn't complain. He didn't enjoy the fries though which is rare. 4/5 Only minor down side was the steamed broccoli and Moroccan chicken soup were just ok. But it might've been because everything was so good and we didn't seem to care for them in the end. As for service, Jess was incredible! She was patient with our endless questions and still had a smile and bright personality the whole time! Thank you Jess! Also we were asked throughout our meal if everything was ok and our plates were taken when we finished. 5/5! Ambience was nice. Big windows and a nice view of PCH. This place food has not changed a bit the serving portion is still the same ! I go to the Torrance urban plates once in a while since it's a little closer but I honestly prefer this place better ! They have great service and food is always good. Their steak is amazing I love the chimi sauce it's so delicious I always ask for ex sauce. Friday was movie night so I decided to stop by before it gets busy with some friends but it's always pretty busy, I was greeted at the front with some great customer service. I always receive my food as I order it never had an issue the mash potatoes are delicious. My to go plate would be the chimi steak or salmon plate both of those plates are amazing! I use to live so close to this location I would come in and dine with friends and family. I saw some familiar faces and some new people. This is my 3rd time coming back ever since I moved out I remember getting greeted by Marianna and Leslie when I would come in, But seem like Marianna doesn't work here anymore haven't seen her , she was amazing always would check up on our table and get us refills! The ambiance was warm and inviting, with a cozy yet modern feel that made it the perfect spot for a meal. The menu had such a fantastic variety, offering something for everyone. I opted for the chicken plate with brussel sprouts and quinoa with chimichurri sauce on the side. It was absolutely delicious--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Every bite was a treat! What really stood out, though, was the service. Emily, the cashier, truly made my visit special. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made me feel welcome the moment I walked in. She took the time to explain some of the menu options and even recommended a fantastic drink, the cranberry apple ginger, to go with my meal. Her positive energy was contagious, and it added such a nice personal touch to my experience. Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better dining experience. The food was top-notch, the atmosphere was great, and Emily's exceptional service made it all the more enjoyable. Was just stopping by to meet up with some friends, and we were trying to figure out what to have for dinner before we went to enjoy the nightlife at the Bungalow. They kept mentioning Urban Plates, I've never had it myself, but based on the recommendation I decided to give it a shot, and it did not disappoint. I ordered the chimichurri steak, and paired this off with mashed potatoes and brussels sprouts, this was the recommendation given to me by Eddie who took my order. I'm not what so ever a fan of brussels sprouts but he sold me on them, and he was absolutely right. They were soooo GOOOODD! Thank you Eddie! I got myself a beer to go along with it as well. Chef Felipe delivered my food and we decided to ask him about the sauce (chimichurri) and he walked us through their preparation process with no issue. I was blown away by the fact that we had the chef himself was delivering our food. I love the ambience here. You can either sit inside, or outside. It's great that the staff is so attentive to lighting the restaurant heat lamps as soon as they see customers dining outside. And, the food! We really enjoy the Cobb salad, the Asian salad, the braises (chicken, or beef), their mashed potatoes (yum!), their chicken sandwich...need I go on? The drinks are also varied and great tasting too. And, the food is all health-conscious! Such a great deal as far as price is concerned too! The best part is that the staff here is so nice and attentive. Alejandro is super-nice and very attentive. He has a nice way of making you feel like you are dining in your own home! The entire staff is very attentive and polite. We eat here frequently and we use the Urban Plate pass which has saved us some dollars. We also enjoy that you can either go and order at the counter, or you can place your order on your UrbanPlate app and the food always arrives within the time set and always hot! What can I say about this place? Let me start off by saying that when you step food in this restaurant you instantly greeted with a warm smile from their cashiers. They made ordering as simple as can be, and don't try to rush you. This day I was assisted by Emily, she answered all the questions we had regarding diet and allergies, she was very accommodating. This was followed by the manager Eddie delivering our food and bring condiments to the table. He then came back around to check in on us. This was then followed by the Chef ( I believe his name was Felipe) coming to ask if we were interested in Refills. I mean how does this get better? Well it did, on our way out we seen Felipe was near the pastries and we proceeded to ask, and he sold us on trying the Mango Tart! They definitely make you feel like your the only guests in the building and paying undivided attention just to us, even though I seen them assisting other guests. We will be coming back guaranteed, and would recommend to anyone to come check out their food and service. read more

The service was fine. My only problem really is how the plate I ordered is described with "medium rare steak." When I received my plate, it was more well done. My friend ordered the same thing and their plate was perfect. I asked the lady if mine was medium rare and she asked if I would like it "a little bit more rare" from it being medium well/well done. I kindly agreed and said please, but when I receive my plate again it was literal rare. I told myself whatever because I did not want to complain again and ate what I could. The rest of my food was cold as well by the time she got back. My two other friends ordered the same burger and one of theirs was really pink in the inside when the other one was well cooked. My friend with the pink burger was complaining and kind of scared but she never spoke up. We also got bribed with a cookie to review 5 stars, and we noticed no other table was asked the same. Never had anyone bribe us for a 5 star, I thought that was funny because they kept staring after I asked about my plate. read more

I live far away with little choice for anything remotely similar (Azusa). Anyways, we actually drove around the PCH and wanted to go get some sea food, because of Super-Bowl Sunday the place my fiancé and me initially wanted was close. It wasn't until my fiancé said "you know what trust me" and so I drove to this little plaza. We walked it and the smell hits you right from the get go. I looked up the menu and I was delighted, I picked the beef stew with mushrooms and smashed potatoes. My fiancé got the tuna ahi with quinoa and beet salad with goat cheese. I cannot stress this enough, all the food was amazing! The goat cheese with beets was mind blowing, the beef stew was tasty, tender and juice. Not a single thing was wrong, everything met and surpassed my expectations. Now for reference my fiancé does not like raw food, especially fish but none the less she took a chance and she did not regret it. Take a chance enjoy life and order dessert! I had one of the worst customer service experiences at this location. When I walked up to the counter, the cashier was taking a phone order. That's understandable, but what bothered me was the complete lack of acknowledgment. Even when another register opened, I was ignored. A simple "thank you for your patience" or "sorry for the wait" would have gone a long way. Instead, once the call ended, the cashier just said, "I can take your order when you're ready." It felt cold and dismissive. I placed my order and waited, hoping the experience would improve. Unfortunately, when my food was ready, the cashier simply handed me the bag without saying my name, thanking me, or even offering a smile. I wasn't rude -- just disappointed. Having worked in customer service myself, I know how important it is to make guests feel seen and appreciated. Sadly, this experience left me feeling the opposite. Urban Plates needs to seriously retrain their staff on basic customer service. read more

Seen this restaurant pop up on my search of where to go eat in Long Beach and Urban Plates came up. I was amazed with how many great things a lot of people had to say. Well it lived up to the hype! I was very impressed with the aromas, the fresh ingredients, speedy service and attentiveness they give. I was able to get a seat right in front of the kitchen and watch the magic unfold. Being able to see the cooks whip up their magic was incredible. Then the star of the show, Emily brought our food with a smile. I seen her name on a lot of reviews and so to be served by her and feel her positive energy and that be the server that delivers your food, just solidified our visit. I don't usually do reviews but from what happened, I just wanted to shout you guys out. My brother was feeling really down yesterday and I heard great things about this place so I decided to come here. I had to convince my brother to come with me and once we got inside, a lady, I believe her name was Daniela, and she greeted us. She had a great smile and she was very friendly. We ordered our food, and while I was paying, my brother was talking with her, and afterwards we sat down, he had a huge smile in his face, telling me how he feels better, how she made his day way better. We got our food, and it was delicious, even my brother was telling me how the food was so good. We didn't get a chance to thank her but I just wanted to give her a shout out. Do yourself a favor and give this restaurant a go! The food and service is unmatched! It felt as though we were the only ones in the restaurant, which we weren't it was plenty busy. The lovely Emily took our order and made some great recommendations for out choices. This was followed by Eddie the GM himself delivering the food. We had forgotten our silverware and he made sure we were taken care off from retrieving this for us as well as extra sauces such as ketchup and hot sauce. We ordered the double cheeseburger as well as the 3 side plate with tenders on the side. They didn't disappoint! We left full, and took some leftovers home, portions were great. Chef Felipe brought us our takeout box and bag. He checked in on us during our visit to ensure everything was how we ordered it. We will be back! read more

Had a wonderful experience visiting for the first time. There was an issue at first with my food as there was a delay in it coming out. However, when I brought it to the attention to the front server She promptly addressed the issue. shortly after Emily, the supervisor approached our table apologizing about the situation. My husband's plate was taken back and was made freshly to join my plate when it arrived. Shortly after our food arrived, the head chef Felipe approached our table to apologize again and ask how everything was.. I give uban plates 5 stars for customer service and the quality and taste of the food. We all have been through mishaps at restaurants. Typically, it's a" Oh, i'm sorry." I have to admit I was reluctant to eat here. It seemed kind of like vegan-meets-GenZ-meets-the avocado toast people-meets-the Tik Tok generation. But it turned out they do have some chicken and beef options for protein. I tried the sliced steak with chimichuri and it was fantastic. And the vibe (while I was not exactly incorrect in my impressions) was a bit more comfortable than I originally thought. They don't have any drinks with artificial sweeteners here. Ok, fine. I'll still come back for the steak! There isn't much service beyond someone behind a cash register taking your order. And if you want a drink refill, you need to be really aggressive in your pursuit, but you'll get it. I ended up drinking the fresh pressed lemonade, which was delicious. Give it a try! read more

My family and I love Urban Plates they have such a big menu for everyone. Where its located is also amazing my mom and I go for a little shopping and after go eat. Parking is free at the Marina but they do have garage parking located right next to them. Service it top notch from the moment you walk in you get greeted and if you have any concerns regarding allergies or your watching your calories they have all that cover for you. Todays service was excellent Mariana was so attentive and welcoming she assured my mom was getting taken care of especially since it was her birthday. Couldn't pass up the opportunity to give this restaurant and its staff a review! I came in last night and it was absolutely flooded with people, so that's how you know it's good. Leila was so kind and helpful in the front and made sure she gave me her full attention while taking my order. When the food came out it was absolutely amazing and gone in 15 minutes! I ordered the tender sandwich with fries and my friend got the chicken plate with roasted potatoes and Mac n cheese. Needless to say, it was served hot and to perfection! To top it off, Sam came by and gave us these giant free chocolate chip cookies! We took one bite and fell in love! We will definitely be coming back! I took my mom out for lunch and we were both greeted by Mariana, at first I thought we were going to be in a line for a while because she was by herself but no I was wrong she was multitasking she was taking there order she was also grabbing their drinks . As soon as we got to her she apologized by the wait and was so kind we didn't wait in line for a long time as we thought ! Urban Plates has become one of my go-to spots for a healthy and satisfying meal. The food is always fresh -- you can actually see them grilling the meats and tossing the salads right in front of you.
