Stopped by for a drink and apps at the bar. We had been there before and were very pleased with the food and service. This time not so much. Ordered rum (Ron Zacapa) and coke. When the bill came I was charged $23. for one shot! Ridiculous. I complained to the bartender and was told that the price is set by the bar manager. We will not return to this restaurant as their bottle opening fee (from a bottle purchased there) was $30. Plenty of other restaurants to choose from where you don't feel as though you are being ripped off. A shame, because it is a good steak house. read more

Interesting place. Went there with a group of friends and truly enjoyed the Chilean Seabass. Friends had a steak and some other options and All looked delicious. Had an absolutely great experience last night that I wanted to highlight. We participated in the golf cart Christmas parade that ended here and it was packed but the staff handled it very well. We initially sat out by a fire pit and then due to rain, we moved inside and they were able to accommodate us without incident. The food took longer than it should have but was understandable with the rapid influx of customers. A young man named Tyler was our server and he was outstanding! This young man really gets it and I hope his professionalism will resonate throughout the entire staff. Food was great amongst our whole group. Keep up this great work UP! read more

My husband & I celebrated our anniversary at Urban Prime last evening. It was once again, outstanding. My husband had a Bombay martini & I had Stingray Sauvignon Blanc. We ordered the Fresh Burrata appetizer. It consisted of Burrata, roasted tomato relish with a lemon basil salad and charred sourdough bread. Delicious. My husband had the Caesar salad and I had the best smoked pepper tomato soup with gouda which were two of the choices with dinner. I can't wait to have that again ! Our entrees were Chateaubriand with wild mushrooms and Boneless ribeye with roasted fingerling potatoes. Both were outstanding. Our server Tyler H. was knowledgeable, friendly and beyond well trained. When my husband made our reservation, he was asked if it was a special occasion, his reply it's our anniversary. To our surprise after dinner ,we were served champagne and a delicious slice of cheesecake. What a wonderful experience at Urban Prime. Our server Melissa was pleasant from the moment we sat down. She explained some of the menu items and had a smile on her face the entire time. The assistant manager took the time to stop by the table and talk to us, even the food runners were pleaseant and took the time to explain the different dishes they were bringing out to other patrons. Our furst visit in May we brought a friend and the steaks and service was above great. We brought our son and his wife last night (July 29,2024) and our experience was different. First of all Gabriel our server was excellent. My son ordered a rib eye and I ordered the Filet Mignon. We both ordered them medium rare. When we got them and cut into them they were cooked medium to medium well. Nothing red and no juice. Due to waiting and hungry my so. Choose to go ahead and eat it. I on the other hand only ate 2 bites. We did tell the waiter right away and explained why we didn't have the time to return them. Both the server and manager could see they were over cooked. The waiter offered 10% off and a free dessert. We really had no intention in getting a desert. The manager should have had us pay for my sons since he did choose to eat it but since it was obvious I did not eat mine the manager should have taken my steak off the bill. I think once an obvious mistake on two expensive steaks have taken place if you're going to offer something to apologize, you should offer something related to the order not a desert. I just feel when a bill is $300+ at a nice steak house that 2 steaks should not of been cooked incorrectly. The other two meals were excellent and again, the our server was super. read more

I was excited to try this place for the first time. Decided Mother's Day would be the day. My first negative impression was the rude gentleman at the desk when you first enter the restaurant. I asked if we needed a reservation and his rude response was "Yes. I have nothing. Check outside and see if they have something." It's all in the delivery. Ok. Moved on. We got a table outside. Ordered the steak sandwich (pictured). Waited 50 minutes for it. It was good. Got halfway through it. Then found a hair embedded between the meat. I let my server Erich know (he was great BTW.) A manager came out to see. She offered to remake it or prepare something else but not without displeasure, as if I was terribly inconveniening her. I politely declined. I didn't ask for anything. She took my plate and had someone bring a dessert to the table 15 minutes later. They asked if we had ordered that. We said no. Then the manager came back with it, set it in front of me and said Happy Mother's Day with complete annoyance in her voice and face. This is supposed to be an upscale restaurant. They need to do better, especially with their staff. Hairnets in the kitchen might help too. read more

I had been to Urban Prime and found some good quality items in the deli and market. You need to be careful of pricing since 2 miles away there is a Publix that can beat pricing for standard items. Also a nice wine selection. We decided to celebrate a special occasion at the restaurant. Arrived early and we saw the indoor dinning room was more than half empty but we were told they would not take walk-ins. I have experienced great dinning in the USA and around the world. Establishment with limited seating will sometimes require a reservation. When a large dinning room more than half empty cannot accommodate a walk-in there is something really wrong. Urban Prime's restaurant "Front" needs a friendly Maître D' who can meet the needs of all guests and keep them returning for a pleasant experience. Urban Prime must think they have a Michelin Star. Unless they improve they will never even be nominated. read more

Every wonderful thing we've heard about the place was true our server/mixologist, Stephanie guided us through the menu and made wonderful recommendations. Stephanie saw to our every need. I knew if the food was as good as the service we would be pleased. The mushroom soup was superb. My salad exceptional. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich with french fries. Delicious! From the moment you walk in, you are captivated by the beautiful décor, lovely music, art, limitless racks of amazing wines along with a tasting wall enhanced by a credit card to taste different wines. The market area is delightful, showcasing a meat area, seafood area, bakery, salads. You will love all the sauces, spices, breads, spreads, jams, specialty butters, nuts....I could go on all day with a list of goodies. They have a open area that boasts a lavish bar, tables to visit with friends, or eat a delicious meal. Moving into the dining area with great seating arrangements, a view to the outside seating and eating area. !00% of the staff were wonderful, friendly, informative, and cheerful. Our waiter was John and he fabulous. We were honored and thrilled to say hello to the proprietor, Ercan Ekinci and welcome him to the Viera area. My group had a fantastic meal at Urban Prime! After a slight hiccup with our reservation, manager Anthony came to the rescue! He made sure that we were seated and attended to with great care. So disappointed. First time there ... went for a late lunch. Bartender gave us the regular menu. Took us forever to order .... He kept saying 'just a minute.' I was so hungry. When we finally got to order I asked for a sandwich. He said 'oh I messed up. It's after 2pm now so it's only the happy hour menu.' (Except for Sushi - apparently they do that all the time.) my husband wanted sushi so he was fine. The bartender gave me a new menu. I was delighted to see my original sandwich choice on the happy hour menu so I ordered it again. He said 'oh sorry. I gave you the wrong menu again.' Finally got the actual happy hour menu (after sitting there for over 30 minutes) and it has maybe 5 items on it. I got a very sad crab cake (and only a crab cake) for $22. Our bill was over $100 and I left hungry. He could have at least given us happy hour prices on our drinks. Service was terrible. The food was decent but just not enough. If you are hungry and do not want sushi, do not go between 2pm-4pm. Now we know. They should have told us that though upon arrival and not given us the wrong menu twice. We have dined at Urban Prime four times now and feel we have given it fair chance but will not be going back. Truly one of the worse, overpriced places in the Melbourne area. Only one time did we get something good... a specialty sushi roll. Then the next time, same roll.... It was mediocre and I am being kind to give it that much. Other times I tried the Cider Pork Chop.... Whew, that was like eating a hunk of wood on a bone. Tried the short ribs... the meat was good the mush around it was nasty. Last night we had a gift card to use do hubby had a medium rare filet mignon that was pretty tasteless and although not dry, it was not juicy at all. I had salmon and upgraded my veggie to what was supposed to be "crispy" Brussel sprouts.... They lower mush too in a coagulated mess that was supposed to be a citrus Caesar dressing. It honestly looked like a pale tan thick vomit. The salmon was supposed to be crispy skin and that too was like a gelatinous mess. The drinks were pretty good, nothing to write home to mom about tho. All in all that place needs a new chef big time! Longhorn Restaurant just down the road is ten times better. Especially their crispy Brussel sprouts and salmon. Always perfect. Sorry Urban Prime, but last night was your last chance. No more. I am adding this now as I didn't get to finish last nite... I've been sick all day long ...this sucks! read more

Some of our food was very good and some was just ok. Short ribs were delicious and gravy was rich and excellent. Asparagus was not great. Better to choose another vegetable in season. Pasta arrabiata was served cold after we are pretty sure it sat on the counter waiting to be served. The pasta ends were dried out and hard. Fish and steaks at the table were good but not especially memorable. Service was the worst. Waiter didn't check back, no one cleared the table or even offered fresh water or non-bar drinks. I might try again for lunch maybe but won't rush back. The location in Viera is good and the restaurant is nicely decorated. read more
