They have options of 2 proteins ($14), 3 proteins ($16), and 5 proteins ($19) of fish. You choose your base, sides, proteins, sauce, and toppings. The resulting bowl is a big poke bowl with pretty good portions. This place might actually be one of the only places I've seen that has avocado as an included side and not an option for an extra cost. I was really disappointed with my visit. First, I found a bone in my fish, which was pretty concerning for a poke place. On top of that, the worker who was helping me was also handling an online order at the same time. Because she was multitasking, she forgot to ask what sauces I wanted, and I didn't realize until I was already on my way home. Normally, the staff ask if you'd like sauces, so this shouldn't have been an issue. It was frustrating to end up with a bland bowl and find a bone in my food on top of that. The restaurant has been very clean all the times that I've been here. I've been to many different poke places and overall, I think that you get the most bang for your buck at Uroko. I've been coming to uroko poke the last few years now. Last visit was last month and the experience was great as always. You order at a counter similarly to chipotle and build your bowl starting with a base, then fish, mix ins, and toppings. Their offerings are fairly consistent with what most build-your-own poke spots tend to have, but their taste and overall quality definitely stand out. I would say that this poke leans much more into strong flavors and topping heavy bowls, which can be a very different experience from authentic poke if that's what you are used to. I personally enjoy poke either way depending on my mood. The service is usually very quick and effective. During my last visit, I even witnessed a customer make some fairly unreasonable complaints that were dealt with very gracefully by the staff. Once you get your food, the ambience is fairly laid back and easygoing. You pick your own table, of which there are almost always a few or many available, and can help yourself to ice water. I know they have a cafe/beverage station but I never typically see people order from it and have never ordered myself. I love that this place has vegan protein options. They have tofu, a vegan meat, mushrooms. I also like that they have blanched broccoli that you can have as a base instead of just salad. You can choose 2 bases. There is a good amount of seating including booths or bigger tables. You get in line and order what you want in the bowl. While in line there is also a paper pad that you can use to mark what you want instead of naming everything when you get to a staff member. However, what I didn't like is the paper pad isn't update. It says you need to choose between various toppings and the vegan meat/mushroom isn't on there which can be misleading. When I asked the person helping me with my bowl, you can actually choose a max of 6 items in addition to your proteins (which you can choose from 1-3 for different prices). They also have preset ones including ones with torching like a "volcano" bowl. The portion is decent and everything was pretty tasty. They work quickly as well and have an assembly line. read more

After a lot of digging I found this place and went in with little expectations, and boy was I BLOWN AWAY! The fish is incredibly fresh and the other add ons you can get are just as good. Two scoops is the lowest you can go for the amount of meat and honestly it kept me full for the rest of the day. Things like avocado and extra crab aren't add-ons but included in the price of the bowl. The crew were friendly and efficient, getting the varying orders we had to a T with a long line going toward the door. My friend and I decided to dine in and honestly I loved every moment. Even though you're not by the beach it feels like you're close to it, and I couldn't have been happier. They also serve sake and other alcoholic drinks and boba if you got the extra time to take it slow and enjoy yourself. Uroko Cafe reignited my joy for poke bowls though! The parking lot can get busy, so it take me awhile to find parking. It's a pretty large space for a poke spot, yet it was half full. Like most poke spots, there's 3 sizes and a number of customizable items as you go down the cafeteria-style line. I got the 2 protein bowl ($14), which was more than enough food for myself. This is the first time I've seen broccoli as a base, which I really enjoyed. There's a good variety of toppings including avocado (no extra charge too!). There are also some sushi rolls, handrolls, and appetizers to order as well if you're feeling something different. You definitely don't usually find this at a poke bowl spot. They are currently offering a free miso soup with poke bowl purchases. Unfortunately, they forgot about our soup until we asked about it.
