so fresh and delicious. portion size is pretty good and don't skimp out on the toppings hehe. i love the outside sitting as well as the inside, so spacious and lively during the afternoon. but i feel like the staff were rushing me and seemed like they didn't want to be there :') asked if the water station could get refilled and girl looked me like i was annoying her and just said ok.. maybe it was just a bad day. overall solid 7.5/10 read more

I've been a loyal customer and have always enjoyed this poke spot, but today I was really disappointed. The broccoli looked like it had mold on the ends, which is completely unacceptable. Food quality and freshness should always be a top priority -- I hope this gets addressed seriously. I'd hate to stop coming to a place I used to love. read more

LOVE Uroko Cafe! I've been to their Costa Mesa location a couple of times prior to the pandemic and love quality of their poke bowls. I was very happy to find out they opened a location in Cypress so hubby and I dropped by this past Sunday to pick up a quick lunch. Upon arrival, there was already a small line ahead of us. We each ended up getting the double scoop bowls. I got mine with half brown rice and half salad base and hubby got his with white rice. The albacore and tuna look fresh here so I got that. Hubby got two scoops of spicy tuna for his bowl. I was very impressed with the toppings they offered here. They don't charge for avocado which is great! I like that they give out scoops of imitation crab meat too. As for the toppings, they had unique ones like mango pieces and pineapple. I made sure to top mine with loads of crispy fried onion and garlic chips. As for the sauces, they have a wide selection. I went with the Uroko sauce, which has a ponzu base. I also mixed it with some chili oil which gives my poke a really nice kick. They have extra containers on the side if you need more sauce. Both of our bowls were about $27. We were very satisfied with our bowls. They gave us huge portions so we were stuffed. The staff here is very friendly and patient with you when you're building your bowls. We're definitely coming back to Uroko Cafe soon for our poke cravings! read more

Next time we will order brown rice on the side because the sauce was "soaked" some may not care, but we like the sauce to saturate the poke more! Toppings and Ingredients great. I love coming here, some employees make the poke bowls very balanced and great. Customer service was good the last time I came in, BUT EACH AND EVERY time I have been here at least one of the female workers has an attitude ( eye rolling, rude demeanor, unhelpful) I don't know why the females that work at this location are so unhappy to be there. Came in on my way back home from work it was about 830pm staff was cleaning up when I walked in but quickly greeted me and allowed me to browse the menu for a bit. I went with a large poke bowl and decided on rice and salad as a base. Large comes with 5 scoops of poke so I did 2x tuna, 2x salmon, and spicy tuna. Next was the sides. You're able to pick up to 5 sides I did seaweed salad, crab salad and spicy crab salad avocado, and cucumbers. Next is the toppings.You're able to pick 6x I went with the crispy onions, crispy garlic, massago, furakaki, green onions, and jalapeños. I also ask for wasabi and ginger on the side. Then had a worker pick a sauce for me. They gave me their most popular which is spicy Mayo, eel sauce and a ponzu type sauce. Seafood is fresh, and I always enjoy every bite of my bowl. Indoor and outdoor seating available if you choose to dine in but I've always taken out. Parking is ample in the parking lot of the plaza. If you're in the area give them a try. read more

I enjoyed the poke bowls here. I used to go to the Costa Mesa location for when I go to my side business, and it's great that there's a location near my new home now. The only issue is pricing, but really, everything is increasing anyway. The sushi is really fresh and the service is fast. Everything is clean and high ceilings so you don't ever feel claustrophobic. If you are in this plaza for lunch, Uroko is probably one of the top choices. read more

I ordered the five scoop bowl with three scoops of salmon, one scoop of tuna, and one scoop of albacore. I really liked how the portions were very generous. I was able to split the bowl into two meals. The bowl was only $20, and it came with miso soup. They also have avocado as a side with no additional charge, which was also a plus. Ordered on Doordash today, I asked for half chips, half rice and they only gave me a half bowl of rice, no chips :( They also added white onions when I only requested for green. The food itself was in a secured bag but the drink was completely unsecured, no seal or anything. I tried their matcha milk tea and it was super bitter and zero sweetness + super grainy. sad my order was done so incorrectly :(( Sucks to have spent almost $30 on two items and they each turned out like that. read more

Really great place for fresh options and reasonable portions! I got the 3 fish bowl for $14 which I believe is pretty standard for poke nowadays. I love the roasted corn offering which I have never seen elsewhere before, and it really adds a subtle sweetness to the bowl that goes well with the saltiness of everything. I also love the fact that they offer yellowtail - I wish they also had scallop!! read more

First time trying this poke spot, I came here for lunch takeout. They were patient with me as I ordered and asked questions about the topping options available. This was the only time I've seen broccoli offered as a base with poke bowls. It worked nicely. I ended up with broccoli and salad for base but you can have up to 3. All the toppings were good, everything blended well together. Their signature sauce was really good. you can also get multiple sauces on the side. Inside the place you'll find plenty of space and tables. They also have outdoor seating. It gets very busy here and the parking lot is small so plan accordingly. It's Sunday so I want to try a new Poke place with a friend. This was recommend on Instagram of serving huge portions. If you are Poké person, so not gonna go into the details. Parking is limited. Inside is also limited. They do have a Yelp check in for free miso soup. Water is self serve. Extra toppings are extra and you can only limited options of choosing protein unless you willing to pay extra to try them all. Their hot sauce is not hot if you are spicy lover. The miso soup however is excellent. Sodas are can btw. They do have teas/boba. Overall, it's very good but does it serve huge portions: in a way, yes but wish they could give more to give first timers a full experience instead of going another time to try something different. The hit the spot! I ordered 3 scoop protein (spicy salmon, salmon and shrimp and got 6 different sides. Sauce that I chose were the urako original - spicy with a side of miso and extra spicy with no additional charge. It is on the bit saltier side but I don't mind it. My go-to used to be Pokinometry in Anaheim, but lately the quality has been really bad and I've been on the hunt for a poke place to replace it and I think I might've found it. We would get the 3 scoop option for $15 and they pack so much in the bowl for you. There's more options here too compared to Pokinometry. You get an option to put a max of 6 sides in your bowl and there's plenty of toppings to choose from. And as for sauces, I really like their Uroko original sauce - spicy. There's lots of parking at this place and lots of indoor & outdoor seating. read more

The staff is friendly and efficient, making ordering a breeze. For my order, I got a bowl of white rice with two scoops of protein - spicy tuna and octopus, mixed with the Original Sauce. The portions for proteins, as well as sides and toppings, were generous! However, the spicy tuna was not as spicy as I hoped for. The octopus was chopped into small pieces instead of chunky ones. Despite selecting the regular amount of sauce, the bowl was drenched to the point that it resembled soup -- completely overpowering the ingredients and making it far too salty to eat. To make matters worse, the bowl was missing key components, including the crab meat, and the amount of vegetables was shockingly minimal. The lack of care and attention to detail is unacceptable, especially for a dish that's supposed to be fresh and balanced. I was pleasantly surprised by this poke spot! Uroko Cafe offers plenty of parking and both indoor and outdoor seating. The shop is well-kept and clean, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The specialty rolls also looked good and were priced between $16 and $19. I asked to order three of the no-rice rolls using the promotion. That's when the owner told me those rolls were not included. The sign outside says "any two rolls," yet apparently there are exclusions that aren't disclosed. Since the no-rice rolls are in the same price range as the specialty rolls, I asked why they were excluded. The owner didn't offer any explanation--she simply said no, then walked away from the register and back into the kitchen. I found that interaction disrespectful and a clear indication that they weren't interested in earning my business. Customer service matters, and this experience left a very negative impression. I recommend choosing one of the many other restaurants in the area that value friendly, transparent service. Advertising a promotion as applying to "any" rolls while excluding certain items without clearly stating that feels misleading.
