We were looking for a little snack today while walking around Montrose & decided to try out the pao de queijo. The gentleman at the counter boasted that his recipe was great & he was not kidding! We only bought 2 today & almost went back to buy the 4 count. Their version is in the form of a waffle which is new to me but I think the 1 waffle is equivalent to 2 buns. I went when they first opened, and it was a bit pricy for what I got, but the drinks and service was great the server then was very helpful and sweet. But when I went back recently with my family I had the worst service, and I felt that the food had gotten worse. The skewers were tough, and the server was very rude. I would understand if there were a lot of people but we were the only customers, so I am not sure why the server had acted the way they did. Personally, I do not want to recommend going here to anyone. And as someone who loves food I almost never leave bad reviews but this was just a horrid experience overall. Really like the married couple that runs the place, excellent service, felt very welcome and gave as a couple flan desserts on the house. I went there wit my wife and the food was excellent and well seasoned and the hot sauce was quite good for home made with the right amount of heat. When I need comforting food I look for Latin American. Found this cute and friendly spot thats Just perfect fusion of Brazilian and Korean deliciousness. I ordered the bulgogi skewer, pal de quejo ("cheese waffle" or as the Colombian neighbors would call "pandebono"), pamonha (sweet corn mush with cheese or as Colombians would call "tamal dulce de queso"). Sooo good. But to my greatest delight I could eat lone spoonfuls of their salsa, and I don't even like onions. They're dark Brazilian beer is also silky and flavorful. When the food arrived she explained what everything was and we began to eat. The food is amazing and very fresh to top it off, the service was great. Owner and staff are super friendly. This is a Brazilian BBQ restaurant with a Korean twist to it. Knowing there's a population of Koreans in Brazil, this is a pretty interesting and delicious fusion idea. Cheesy ball is made into waffle shape, even more delicious and the texture is wonderful. Valeu Espetos is a delightful restaurant. Once again, my fellow Yelpers steered me right. Everything my wife and I ordered was fantastic. We had both beef skewers and the chicken wing skewer, coupled with a chicken croquette, the palm empanada, the side salad, cheese waffles, and white rice (we took the leftovers with us). The side salad was a pleasant surprise. Everything was crisp, and the dressing was wonderfully tangy. The skewers were perfect, with the bulgogi and chicken wings being a bit out of the ordinary. Both the croquette and empanada were great, especially the palm empanada which we ordered on a whim. I recommend trying it. Valeu Espetos is justifiably proud of its house-made hot sauce which is nicely hot, but more importantly, quite tasty. Once again, try it. We tried this new restaurant a few weeks ago and loved it. The meats on little skewers were very tasty. We ordered the family combo so we could try most of the things on the menu and were not disappointed. I especially like the Bulgoggi and the cheese waffles. The salad we ordered was very fresh too. It's a little place and was kind of empty on the Monday night we visited but we didn't mind because we got great service. Go try it today, I want this place to be around for a long time. read more

My husband and I just finished an amazing lesson at Arthur Murray and was looking for a place to eat. We walking down the street. A group of people walked out of this restaurant very happy and satisfied. We asked them if they enjoyed their food. They HIGHLY recommended the restaurant and we went in. OMG!! The restaurant is 7 months old. We were the only ones in the place. The customer service was GREAT. The food was AMAZING. We had the sausage, beef skewers, salad, pao de queijo "cheese waffle", and empanada. The dressing for the salad was so good and the salsa that came with the food was fabulous!!! New Brazilian restaurant! Delicious variety of skewers among the offerings. We loved the pork belly and bulgogi the most. The traditional cheese bread is prepared as a waffle which makes it more crunchy on the outside and cheesy inside. Yumm. All the food is prepared from scratch. Super friendly owner and management. Meh. Meat is dry and not all that flavorful. Definitely pricey and unimpressed with what you get. Coquettes and waffles are decent but nothing else stands out. The fried thigh pieces dish is just plain dangerous- it is served as bite size pieces of fried chicken, but it's not deboned so be careful not to chip a tooth or choke as it has broken pieces of bone inside. Went to the restaurant on Saturday night after reading a very nice review in Westways Magazine( a monthly publication from AAA). The restaurant had some very nice reviews and had a Brazilian Korean menu. It was a GREAT experience. The restaurant not only had a wonderful menu but was enhanced by being super clean. The waitress and chef who happen to own the place were both very outgoing. Everyone that walked into the place had been greeted and made to feel very comfortable. Way overpriced and the skimpy portions aren't very good either. What is supposed to be an empanada is greasy and filled with a gummy concoction that is borderline nauseating.
