Was doing some shopping at U Village and had a hankering for pizza. Pulled up Veraci's and decided to try it out. They do wood fired pizzas here, you can see the oven when you walk in as well as the huge wood pile outside. They sell canned drinks and bottles of wine (but no glass pours). We opted to get whole pizzas, but they also sell slices with whatever is out on the counter. We ordered some drinks, and each of us got the smaller sized pizza. The pizzas here were cooked super fast! Came out within a few minutes of ordering. The pizzas have a very thin crust, almost cracker thin. I liked the two pizzas we got (Salume, and Prosciutto & Arugula), they complemented each other well. The Salume was definitely stronger flavored, and the Prosciutto Arugula a bit more mild and sweet. The lemon coco drink is not carbonated (it does say as much on the can, I just didn't pay attention), but it's still refreshing and not too sweet. There is a self serve station in the back with utensils, water, chili flakes, Parmesan, bussing stations, as well as to go materials for your leftovers (foil, plates, etc), which is very handy. Only thing we didn't see was a recycle bin, they only seemed to have trash cans. read more

This review is for their portable pizza oven service at wedding in Snoqualmie. Was part of a wedding group in Snoqualmie this weekend at Silglio Cellars when Verace's Pizza oven showed up out back. The two experienced pizza chefs and self-proclaimed dream team (15+ years and 8+ years) had the oven quickly fired up and began churning out delicious thin crust creations with garlic pesto, chicken red onion, and fresh sausage toppings. Over a dozen different types and some special request custom pizzas were whipped out quickly. The 1000F oven crisped and charred the crusts to perfection and the applewood smoke left just a hint of flavor from the aged oven. No one had to wait, and what I liked best is that they made and boxed a number of pizzas for people to take home and enjoy. Wish I had some pics but sometimes it's hard to get good pics at a wedding. Quality thin crust pizza and quality service. 5 stars and recommended for any of your future events. read more

I meant to go this Pizza place for a long time and I finally went there today. I ordered the basic Pepperoni Pizza. They do take the order through the phone, but they don't take payment. You have go to the restaurant pay for it there. Well I got home and this is what I got. First overall. It is a thin crust and their pepperoni is a little spicy, but their red sauce is sweet. I wanted to try a new place for pizza and this that place (Veracity Pizza located in Wedgewood). Again it was ok but not great. Price is reasonable. So do I recommended , Yes. I took it last two times, but spending $80 each trip with lack luster CS and wrong orders blamed on me. Nope. The worst pizza I've ever had! It was 30 minutes late, cold, almost no sauce, barely any cheese or mushrooms, tough dough, burnt and edge so dry it crumbled in my hand. I don't know how they managed to make the dough so thin and yet so tough. It was ridiculously pricey for so little food. They only deliver by door dash, so there were all kinds of extra charges. Even with a $5 discount coupon, it was $31 and change for a large 2 topping pizza. I've had far better frozen store-bought pizzas. This was a huge waste of money. This is definitely one of the better pizzas we've had in the Seattle area, esp for delivery! The crust was thin and crispy and the toppings were flavorful! However the size options were odd. Their medium is 11" and large is 16". (No smalls). We ordered the mediums and honestly they would've been small pizzas at any other place. It had been over a year and a half since my last visit to Veraci's original Ballard site. Seemed fitting to checkout this newish Wedgwood location after the kiddo's first day back to middle school (9/7/16). This location also offers salads plus pasta! Friendly counter staff and decent pizziolos. We were just going to have slices, but it was offered to just bake a half and half pizza instead. 1/2 pepperoni ($9.50) and 1/2 Sicilian meat special ($11). The latter was delicious with the perfect crust and sauce, topped with Italian meats, fresh mozzarella, green olives, and red peppers. I demolished the Caesar Salad ($7), so took most of the Sicilian home. This made for a delicious lunch at work today. I ventured off the former Veraci path having Pagliacci, Zeeks, and Razzi's fill the pizza void. I'm glad to rediscover Veraci's again! read more

The pizza was soggy upon arrival, and not particularly flavorful. Maybe I just need to give it another shot with a different style? I've actually enjoyed the pizzas I've ordered from Veraci. I did order pickup a couple of times before the pandemic and had good experiences. I've ordered delivery a few times during these strange times and also had good experiences. The ingredients are high quality-- this is the main reason my partner prefers them. The ricotta is good, the sauce is good, the fresh herbs are good, the house salad is good. Not sure why anyone might make claims about bias for a delivery/carryout service-- having worked in restaurants for years, we literally have no idea about race, color, creed, identity, etc when firing food. I like. And I have no problem with tiered pricing-- we're in a pandemic, people, and businesses who make efforts to support their staff members should be supported, not criticized.
