We went two days in a row, loved everything we ordered. Great vegetarian food and the steak tacos were fabulous. It took a little while to figure out how to order. We come to Park City 5-6 times a year and we always go to Vessel Kitchen at least once. We love all of the food choices and especially love the bread loaves they sell and sometimes run out!!! I ordered a ponzu tuna for my lunch, which was pretty plain, even though it had an aioli drizzle. It comes with couscous and string beans. It's nice to eat something light for the day, however, for the price I paid, I don't think it was worth it. But at the same time, all the ingredients are seasonal, so it's somewhat understandable. Vessel is easily the best addition to the Park City dining scene in a long time. Vessel truly boosted Kimball Junction and is a great location for lunch/dinner/snacks. The menu boasts a variety of local/fresh options, and anybody can find something to eat! The ambiance is comfy and cute and there's plenty of seating for large or small parties. My only qualm with Vessel is their waste! Living in Park City, we have to be better environmental stewards and I'm disappointed in this local business for not taking more sustainable action. The use of plastic cups/water cups is BEYOND wasteful and I hate seeing it. Vessel could easily switch to glass without a problem and their ignorance is disappointing. Additionally, the use of paper liners on their trays is very wasteful, too. Please be more mindful about your waste!!! Until a change is made, I might have to discontinue my visits. read more

Our group of four got all different choices for a healthier dinner tonight. I got the turkey meatballs, yellow spaghetti squash, and the seasoned broccoli- which all had unique&amazing flavors. My friend got the poke bowl- to which she described as "fresh" and enjoyable unique flavors and ingredients. The other people in our group had the same experience with their shredded beef, and cod which also came with unique, fresh sides that were very tasty. The reason for one star is because of the checkout process. This is a fast food joint. You order your food at one end of the counter and pay at the other. They swipe your card and give you a touchscreen with 4 big boxes to choose from, with various tip amounts. They give you a number and bring your food out. There are no napkins, utensils, condiments, nothing on the table. You go get those yourself. You go get your own drink too. Why the demanding tip screen if you don't provide any service???? We were actually on main st looking for a place to eat and reading reviews about high prices and mediocre food when I stumbled upon this place. Decided to drive over and give it a try. Best decision ever. It's fresh food sitting waiting for you to look at and choose like a cafeteria style. But nothing like a cafeteria or buffet. Super fresh. So you choose a protein and two sides. Proteins are braised beef (our favorite) pulled chicken and pork butt. Many many cold and hot sides to choose from. We loved the sweet potato hash, potatoes, and Mac and cheese. I asked for a sample of the beef and he gave me enough for 5 bites. So cool. We also tried a loaf of the artisan bread and it was so yummy. Had a really unique salt flavor. Try it. I was worried it wouldn't be enough food. I like food. I'm 6-2 205 lbs. so I got an extra side. Ended up not being able to eat it. Came back a second straight day and just did two sides and it was plenty. Service was great. Clean eating area. Wish this place would come to Arizona were we live. We need more healthy tasty options. My pulled chicken was moist yet it sits in a broth so no idea how old it was. If entrees were on point, easy four stars. Sides were great. Korean green beans are a fresh take on a classic veggie. Avocado toast was maybe the best I've had anywhere. Make sure to top off your meal with a macaroon. Also one of the best I've ever had. We choose to come here based on the fact that there would be vegan options. Breakfast has limited options but we ordered the vegan avocado toast & sweet potato hash. When it was brought out it had an egg. I told the man it was supposed to be vegan. His response "that isn't available right now.....in the system" (he took our order). I told him they could certainly make it vegan and he somewhat reluctantly took it back. When we got the vegan version - which is the exact same with no egg - it was underwhelming. I added salt and sriracha to give it flavor. We were charged $2 more than we should have for eggs we couldn't eat (because the vegan option isn't available in the computer?) and the final product needed enhancement. If your business is known for having vegan options you should train your staff and perhaps work on having flavorful food. read more
