Great little shop to get artisanal Vietnamese Banh Mi! There are a few things to improve but so far it's the best Banh Mi in town! Our favorite is the Dac Biet (Special Combination) Banh Mi which includes all the kind of meat including Chinese pork BBQ, pâté, and regular pork. The sandwich is made with mayonnaise, cilantro, pickled veggies (carrots and celery) and also has jalapeños to give it a hot kick! They are very generous with the meat portions on the foot long baguette style bread. The one point that would benefit from improvement is the bread. It would be fantastic if they had a better baguette instead but so far I can't find a better Banh mi in Tulsa. The shop is really small and only has 4-5 tables that fit 2-3 people each. I got there to order Banh mi to go and there was no A/C but a bunch of fans running so the store was pretty hot. I definitely recommend getting the sandwiches to go and enjoy them at a picnic or at home. read more

Their banh mi is delicious! There's an ample amount of meat in it, with complimenting veggies and traditional pâté. The bread has a perfectly crusty outside but soft and airy inside, and the slightly spicy, sweet, tangy, and fresh flavors of all the components of the sandwich are balanced very well. I'm sold on the grilled pork for sure, but I was also pleasantly surprised at how good the chicken version is (I think chicken is boring and don't order it at restaurants but we thought we'd try it as our free sandwich), it's packed with flavor and isn't dry at all. The value of this place is unbeatable for anywhere I've found banh mi in the Tulsa area. I definitely recommend this place if you're a banh mi lover around Tulsa! P.S. Wow! My banh mi was full of meat & vegetables. They have 5 or 6 different sandwiches to choose from. The price is excellent, you cant find a better Banh mi for the price here. The banh mi's are over priced everywhere else in Tulsa. It was very flavorful with a lil spice kick from the slice of jalepeno they put in there. My only criticisms: the bread is a bit too crispy and the egg yolk didn't run (this can really bring the sandwich together, but it does make it messier to eat..) After reading about this place online and here on Yelp I thought I'd give it a try. There is very limited seating inside, so you are better off getting your order to go especially if you have more then a few people. The store is simple and straight to the point inside with signs showing the sandwiches and drinks with numbers and names for those willing to try pronouncing them. I was not sure what to get so I asked. Neither of the women working spoke English so they had a man from the back come to help me. He seemed put off by having to come up and talk to me. When I asked what he recommended he named almost all of the sandwiches on the wall. He then just turned and walked away. It not very helpful IMHO. I read here on Yelp that they were sweet and friendly, I did not get that vibe based on his visit, and the two ladies couldn't communicate with me so I have no idea if they were friendly. They didnt really seem to smile. But good food doesnt always mean friendly people so I let the food itself be the judge. I ended up with two sandwiches and 2 drinks to take home. The drink I had on the way was very delicious and I enjoyed the boba pearls along with the fruity drink itself. The other is a smoothie waiting for me later. Both the sandwiches smelled great, and I had one of the two when I got home. It was quite filling and had just the right amount of bread to condiments to content ratio. It was quite good. I do think it would have been nice with a bit of extra sauce on it though, but I can't complain. Over all it was good food, a good sized portion (you could make 2 meals from the sandwiches) but it was a bit pricy. My order was over $20. But I have paid more for similar or less food and this isn't something one gets anywhere. I'll go back for more later and hope they are a bit friendlier. As a lover of Vietnamese food, I can be a harsher critic than some, but for what the owners intended this place to be, it is spot on! They have 2 things: Bahn Mi and Bubble tea. Of course, that is 9 types of Bahn Mi and 19 types of bubble tea. I had the mixed meat sandwich (#1) and my daughter had meatball (#4). The French bread was ultra crispy on the outside and fluffy, but not dry, on the inside. Packed with French bread flavor! The meats were all excellent and the vegetables stuffed inside were fresh and crispy. These were the best Bahn Mi I think I've head. AND the same for the bubble tea. Found this place looking for Boba. It does not disappoint. The Thai tea Boba was the perfect degree of sweetness with soft chewy beads and fresh fruit included. It is the best cup of Boba I've tried so far. Also, the egg rolls were fresh, perfectly crisp and warm with a equal balance of meat and vegetables. This is now my favorite sandwich place in Tulsa. Not only is the price phenomenal (now around $4.15 a sandwich), their bubble tea is out of this world. I have only had the passion fruit, but I couldn't imagine anything else would be less delicious than that was. The place is incredibly clean and the owner was extremely nice and excited that we were there, even though the place was far from empty. There's no where to sit, so you have to take your food to go, but who cares because the food is amazing. I got the #2, a pork banh mi, and the #4 boba passion tea. The sandwhich was to die for. They bake the bread fresh in the store (I saw a pan come out of the oven while we we waiting). The pork was tender and flavorful and the vegetables were fresh and colorful. The meat was top tier, absolutely delicious. I ordered the #1 Dac Biet Special (Traditional) and the #3 Ga Nuong (Grilled chicken). Both were amazing but I will say the #1 really spoke to my taste buds. You can tell they used fresh veggies because for one, they weren't wilted, the crunch from the pickled daikon and carrots and cucumber were perfect and the jalapeños were freshly cut and spicy! I will now be sure to always pick up some sandwiches on the way home next time we come to visit. I'm so glad I decided to try this place. THIS is a real Banh Mi joint if you're wanting to try one. I see several others in Tulsa that have completely changed the traditional Vietnamese sandwich and have butchered the ingredients.
