Adam was an amazing host and gave great customer service as well as conversation. The food came out in a timely manner and the drinks were nice and strong. The ambiance was very quiet. Definitely would recommend this place! Ordered the Chicken Marsala, wings and Duck

A party of 5 that had reservations at 630. Immediately greeted up entering the restaurant and seated. The appetizers and drink order didn't rake long. The service and hospitality were great the entire time. The food and drinks were really good so surprised by the current Yelp rating. The menu was just right to pick from and not overwhelming. Cocktail and wine list was huge. We would recommend and come back. My wife had a great bday dinner.

I highly recommend the Caesar chicken pizza. Chill vibe and great food. I'm from California and they have a pretty good wine list. We ate here two years ago and are happy to come back and have a good meal again.

A fun night out at Vintage with my family

My family and I have been coming to vintage almost a decade now. We celebrate our families birthdays, anniversaries, and holidays at Vintage as a go to place. We had our baby shower here. It was top notch and wife felt so special as the mother to be. Service was perfect. The owner was hands worked with us on everything making it super easy. Especially during the Pandemic they have gone through major lengths to make everyone feel safe. Patio is perfect option during the warmer months to dine out. Menu has something for everyone Gluten free options and Vegan Options. Every so often they they tweak the menu to keep it fresh but there is a handle fun stables options that don't need changes. Vintage is a gem in the city of Boston

If one door doen't work, try the one next to it. There are actually three entrance options to Vintage Restaurant and Lounge - two on Broad Street and one along Custom House Street. But be careful of the slight step. I visited Vintage Restaurant and Lounge twice in one week. The first for an early dinner of Eggplant Parmesan $22 (Fresh Mozzarella and Hand Cut House Made Pasta). For that meal I sat in the back dining area where it was calm and quiet, rather than in the front bar area where several people had gathered after work. My red sauced linguine was topped with five round slices of eggplant breaded with a crispy crunchy coating, with a melted blanket of mozzarella. Since I'm one of those healthy-unhealthy eaters who like a bit of eggplant with my deep fried breading, I liked the eggplant parmesan, although the red sauce accompanying the dish wasn't particularly to my taste. For lunch, I had one of their Grilled Chicken Caprese Sandwich $15 (spring greens, herb pesto, fresh mozzarella, tomato, balsamic redux) at the bar. Generally, I am hesitant to order chicken, as it is often overcooked and dry. That was not the case here! Personally I liked that it was a thinner cut of chicken rather than a whole thick chicken breast, but then I like some meat with my veggies. The tomato could have been firmer and more flavorful, but perhaps it wasn't quite that time of the year yet for the fresh local produce at the time of my visit. The fries were tasty, but not as crisp as I like. But they were able to bring me honey mustard in addition to the ketchup which had come with the meal. Service here both times were offered by the same personable gentleman, who somehow had to manage both the bar area and the dining room customers. He also politely held the door for my exit on my first visit. That's actually why I ended up consuming my dinner in its entirety... I was considering throwing in the towel and having the last two pieces of eggplant parm boxed up for later, but with no one within eyesight to flag down, I decided that well, I could manage it. The meal ended up being filling without making me feel overly stuffed. 3.5 stars

Once you get in, there's a small lounge area on the left and then a larger lounge area straight ahead where the bar is. They have small tables with couches and local artwork ond display. For their drinks, their mixed drinks are average, but they only had 3 beers on draft which was a disappointment. They do serve some bar food and snacks, but like the drinks they're overpriced. I've been here twice and there's usually a wait for the rooftop. Once on a Saturday I was quoted up to a 3 hour wait that was actually 45 minutes and on a Sunday it was a 15 minute wait. I put my name down and got a friendly text when my turn was up. The view is pretty good, but not the best since it's not by the water so it's mostly looking at the city and large apartment complexes. The rooftop is small with 4-5 tables, a TV, and some seats. It seems like they allow around 40 people in at a time. Overall, this a cool place to hang out with friends this summer!

I like how it is set up like a lounge, where they have couches available for big and small groups. You can also just sit at the bar to grab a drink. There are also tables on the terrace, but it is not always open during the winter months. When the door is unlocked, it is worth checking out the view for a couple of minutes. The bartenders can be a bit hit-and-miss, depending on the night. I wouldn't take that personally. Just order your drink and focus on your company. They will come around like 15 minutes before closing and asking you to close your tabs. Supposedly their lobby bar stays open later than 11 PM, but my friends and I tried going then got turned away by the lobby bar as well. I have always had GIN CRAZE $14 (Beefeater gin, lemon, simple, raspberry puree). It is pretty solid.

Additionally, they have Rookie/Normal/Pro lines on the ground so you can choose where to stand and you don't have to be a professional dart player by any means to play these games. The staff is also super friendly. The only concern I had was that the staff wasn't super attentive to our dart table, so despite us clicking the request service button a few times, my girlfriend had to head to the bar to get our drinks and start a tab. My girlfriend's drink was not good either... it was a vodka mixed drink with a salt rim and it was just too salty. It would've been much better with a sugar rim I think. The atmosphere was on point, and the music selection only made the experience better. Every song fit the vibe perfectly and added to that cool, hidden-gem feel. We had only flown into the city a few hours earlier, so we opted to sit in the other room for a quieter evening. Not a complaint at all. The energy was fun to watch, but we were definitely in relaxation mode after traveling. There was also a conference happening at a nearby hotel, so the place filled up quickly. Even with the crowd, the bartender taking care of us remained incredibly attentive, checking in often and never making us feel forgotten. Excellent service in a busy room always stands out. We ordered three cocktails and every one was delicious. The Coconut Confidential was creamy and refreshing, basically a liquid piña colada. The Velvet Elvis packed a punch with the Jack Daniel's and Chambord. My favorite of the night was the Sassy Cactus Sip. The prickly pear flavor was fantastic and had me wishing I ordered a second. For food we shared the garlic broccoli, pretzel bites with cheese, and the artichoke dip with chips. Unexpectedly, the real MVP was dipping the broccoli into the artichoke dip. My favorite item in the bowl was the horiatiki salsa, which was finely diced tomatoes, cucumber, and onion - it was really excellent and showcased how great knife skills can elevate a dish! Unfortunately, the other items were a bit underwhelming. The chicken skewer and falafel patty were enjoyable, but everything was rather dry, even with the slaw and hummus. We ordered an extra side of tzatziki, which helped a little, but the bowls would really benefit from a sauce, such as tahini or an olive oil drizzle. I was running behind with arriving for my reservation, but the hostess over the phone kindly moved it to 7pm! Fast forward I get there first impression the restaurant was beautiful! Then the hostess at first he seemed nice. We had our menus, had time to look over everything ordered drinks and appetizers. Then after a little while he came and we decided to order dinner. Everyone including myself ordered individually. The entrees arrived and for some reason one of my friends didn't get her entree! We were waiting for the hostess for about 10 minutes. Then one of my other friends waved him down and said we are waiting on an entree! My back was facing the open kitchen. However, my friend whose entree didn't arrive yet noticed the hostess spoke to someone to put in the order! Which means he never put it in intially! She then had to wait another 15 minutes and by that pointed she lost her appetite! I felt bad, but my friend said no it's your birthday don't worry. I was because as a birthday one of the best gifts is all your loved ones enjoying the experience! The fact it changed her mood it changed the vibe as well slightly. When he came we asked for to go containers. However, I had a pleasant surprise! My best friend whose entree unfortunately was missed. She made a beautiful chocolate covered strawberry arrangement in the letter A for my name! I got happy birthday sung then blew my candles! Ok now back to the bad service! My friend then tells me after the hostess steps away don't eat any because the owner said there would be a $3 per person fee!! The audacity! Why should there be a charge for ingredients, time and care your restaurant had NOTHING to do with! Afterwards she comes after the hostess and his lack of attention to detail and said " I'll waive the fee." We then get up after paying & went to another area to take pics. The the owner comes by and offered to take our pictures with my phone. I Intially thought it was a nice gesture! Nope! She was playing slick to inquiry about the tip! My friends and myself obviously disgusted they didn't give the minimum suggested tip of 18%! I mean why should we when a guest of mine had to wait over 15 minutes for an entree she ordered with the rest of us! I have never in my life seen an owner offer to take pictures to then ask for a tip increase! Frankly you all should be glad a tip was given! Also the food was just okay. Some of the appetizers were good, but not everyone enjoyed their food! Very disappointed! This was my birthday dinner and the service was not up to the standards you would expect from the Seaport!
