V's Restaurant is just one of my favorite places to dine anywhere in L.A. Great ambiance, exceptional service and fabulous bar like no other. Expansive wine list as well. The menu is somewhat constant but always satisfying. I am particularly grateful that Duck Confit is back. Their 'forbidden rice' and apple/cherry sauce is impossible to pass up. Other very special items to experience: Tadori Chicken, V's Chopped Salad, Wild Mushroom Tagliatelle and Sand Dabs in Lemon Caper Sauce. All are spectacularly unique. I love to bring visiting family or out of town guests to V's. Always impresses. The price is worth every penny. Easy parking. I cannot wait to go back. read more

First of all let me tell you how quick my food was ready. 15 min! That's how long it took for the V's to have my order perfectly packed and ready for a pick up. A fantastic hole-in-the-wall restaurant on the side of PCH. Recently, V's converted their parking lot into a lovely outside ambiance with heaters all around. V's food and drink menu is spectacular. I had their Branzino special several times, and the flavor between the fish and the side of risotto was rich in flavor. Will definitely coming here again! read more

After exploring Malibu, found this unique spot on Pacific Highway with my sister. We were greeted by a friendly gentleman who showed us the outdoor dining area. The staff was exceptionally Covid cautious while still making us feel like we could relax in this pandemic era. We had Mac & cheese, crab cake, mushroom soup and meatballs. They were all delicious. Came here yesterday and everything was great. Everything from the service, to the dining area, and food was good. The look and feel of the restaurant is very modern and classy and the dimly lit lights set a nice ambiance. We ordered the rib eye steak, soup of the day (mushroom soup?), crab cake, chicken risotto, and classic caesar salad. And then we ordered the chocolate creme brûlée for dessert. The rib eye steak was my favorite and they serve pretty big portions for each dish. Prices were great and worth it as well. I will definitely come back another time to try other dishes in the future. This is a great spot for a date night especially if you want to woo your date driving down PCH. There is street parking, but I'd recommend doing valet to save time. Valet is also $8 so it's actually cheaper than DTLA which is really nice. read more

AMAZING!!! This is one of the BEST restaurants we have ever visited. We went for lunch with my family and the service was above and beyond our expectations!!! The food was absolutely TOP of the TOP. We ordered the Portobello Fries (OMG- must try!!!), the Mac n Cheese, Wild Arugula Salad, Seafood Linguine, Pan Seared Salmon and Grilled Chicken with fries and spaghetti from the Kids Menu. I have no words to describe how delicious everything was and for a very first time my children finished their whole meal and asked for more. I really enjoyed my meal. I was there for valentine's day in 2018 and enjoyed the meal off the specials menu. I had a linguine with lobster tail and scallops. Since our trip to Maine I've been consistently dissapointed with the lobster I've had but the lobster tail at V's was very good. I also enjoyed the scallops that came with the dish. While V's is on PCh IT DOES NOT HAVE OCEAN VIEWS. That didn't matter to me but I thought I would highlight that in case that was a dealbreaker for some folks. V's does valet parking. There is limited parking on PCH but depending on the time of day may be difficult to come across. The servers were very nice. I enjoyed the ambiance inside. They seemed to have several things to absorb sound so it wasn't so loud, which I appreciated. read more

Food was mediocre at best. Sure, we only got a pizza and some Mac n cheese, but if you're presented as a high end restaurant, even your basic dishes should be slam dunks. The truffles in the Mac n cheese were barely noticeable, and could be comparable to any low end dinner spot. And the pizza? ZERO FLAVOUR. The sauce reminded me of a watered down Ragu, while the "fennel infused" sausage had NO resemblance to fennel whatsoever. If this were the "One Bite" App, I'd reward it a 2.8. 1 star here will do. What's not to like about V's? I couldn't find a thing. From the location to the easy parking, on to desert, its a solid experience. Did I mention these guys are super nice, professional, skilled and unobtrusive? They have an extensive but abbreviated and simple menu that spans seafood, Italian and American. It sits at the southern end of Malibu and I spotted it, as I was heading north down PCH. Not hungry at the time, so kept cruising. After a few hours of checking out Malibu, head to tail, we needed calories. There are a lot of choices up and down this road so its easy to find something. However, I was craving Italian and quite a few restaurants don't open til 5. It was about 3 and I remembered seeing V's. So, I pulled over and checked Yelp. It fit my criteria so, we set a course for the easy in parking lot. It can be a challenge to ingress and egress on the Pacific Coast highway without incident, so the easy parking is worth its weight in Gold. The food is delicious. This is a definite Go! read more

Our first stop at Malibu was at V's restaurant. The restaurant looks modern and cozy. We started out with the Tuscan kale and the meatballs. The kale was a bit bland, but the meatballs are a total perfection :) For dinner, my husband had the seafood linguini and I had the filet. The seafood linguini had mussels, calamari, shrimp. My husband says it was average, very similar to what we have in Minneapolis. He had higher expectations, maybe addition of scallops. However, the seafood is definitely much fresher. I had the filet. It is a regular filet but what made it special for me was the mushroom. It tasted so delicious and complemented the filet very well. The staff was very attentive. Excellent service. read more

I dined here during a trip for my birthday. Upon arrival we were alerted that the table was ready, which was amazing timing. The only issue was where the table was. I placed a reservation for a party of 5 and we were seating at a regular booth with a chair added to the end of it (we were also very dressed with my guests wearing all white). The food portions were nice. I enjoyed the Chicken Parmesan a lot. If looking for a quaint dinner I would def recommend this location. It can be a hit or miss depending on what you order (my guests were not too satisfied). What a pleasant surprise!!! When our friends from the west side wanted to connect and meet along the PCH, I knew exactly where I wanted to go try! I've driven past V's a bajillion times and always thought that it looks so cute on the outside, that I searched for it on Yelp and bookmarked it. I am so glad we did! Valet is $7, and then you enter into the quant restaurant. It's smaller, but nicely decorated. The host kindly greeted us and then promptly seated us at our table. The wine racks are beautifully lit and the other lighting was soft and dim as well. Romantic, but I def need extra light to see the menu. Lol The service was REALLY good! Our server knew the menu thoroughly and his opinions about dishes were spot on. So appreciated. The cocktails were DELICIOUS! well balanced notes of all the ingredients, nothing overpowered the drinks. The Ginger Fitz was so good with freshly ground ginger, I had two Elder Daisy's with vodka instead of gin. I loved it!!! If you like drinks with a light floral note then you will too. We order the tuna tartare, prosciutto flatbread and truffle mac n cheese for starters. All were very good. The tuna tartare was most tuna and avocado, not much crunchy wontons, which I prefer. The fish should definitely be the most present item and it was. The sesame oil drizzle was great touch. The flatbread was perfect, but very savory and rich. So be ready for all the goodness. The truffle Mac was exactly what you'd expect. Dinner- Our friends dish was the best on the table- Wild Mushroom Truffle Tagliatelle. It was absolutely perfect and I was so jealous I didn't order it! The past is made freshly in house. I actually order the Bolognese with the Tagliatelle noodles but my dish was far less impressive. Sadly, I was expecting an east coast cologne with cream in the sauce. It tasted like marinara to me. Super disappointing for me, I only had a couple of bites. My family and I were visiting from out of town after a lovely wine tasting and stumbled upon V's on google. I am so glad we ended up coming here!! The food was excellent. I had the swordfish special with a lemon caper sauce and it was delicious. My sister had the tuna tartare and it exceeded her expectations. My mother had the sausage pasta and they were happy to accommodate her dairy allergy. However, what stood out most to us was the exceptional service. Our server Kaitlin was the warmest, kindest, most accommodating server we've had in a long time. She made the amazing experience volumes more enjoyable. Made reservations to this place after debating going to another restaurant nearby while hanging out in Malibu. We arrived right at opening for lunch. Parking is limited in the area, however the restaurant does have reserved parking spaces outside. Because we were the first ones to arrive, it was quite nice to have the place to ourselves for a bit. The server was very friendly and professional. I started with a nice dirty martini (I had an odd craving for it that morning. Don't judge me ;p) Let me tell you... It hit the spot! We started with Portobello fries which were great and filling! The texture of the portobello really gives it the extra "Umph" from the usual fried mushrooms. Went there for our Valentine dinner and I have to say I was impressed. I'm a really picky eater but we definitely fell in love with every dish we ordered. Not only the service was great, everything we ordered was very tasty, cooked just right and flavorful. I see myself going back there very soon to try out more dishes since we were super stuffed for the night. Compare to the most restaurants on PCH that are by the beach with the ocean view, this restaurant also has the real gourmet food. I definitely recommend this place. Holy moly everyone needs to check out this place for their amaZing service and food! Ok we arrived 30 minutes earlier than our reservations and the host/manager managed to make tables happen for us. Our stomach was forever thankful for that! Then we were seated and welcomed by our server Chris! He was extremely attentive and brought smiles to our night! Since it was a bride to be night, we had some scratcher games... and to our surprise Chris played along! Since I work in Malibu I pass this building ALL the time and have been wanting to try it out FOREVER. Finally, a couple of friends and I decided to take a girls weekend and rented a place in Malibu. We decided on dinner at V's! What a GREAT decision that turned out to be. The food was fabulous! Here's what we gluttoned ourselves with: Truffle Mac n Cheese - Three Cheese / Panko / White Truffle Oil Pretty phenomenal if you ask me. Absolutely delicious. It had just the right amount of goo and truffle. I may seriously making this appetizer a part of my meal the next time. Shrimp Risotto - Tiger Shrimp / Fava Beans / Lemon Zest / Olive Oil The fava beans were a little too mushy and over cooked for me. Aside from that, the risotto was flavorful and there were a lot of shrimp to be eaten. Pesto Crusted Lamb Chops - Herb Mashed Potatoes / Ratatouille / Mint Demi Glase The crust was nice and crusty. Super important for me, I despise when "crusted" anything comes out soggy. The medium rare lamb was cooked to the perfect temperature. Roasted Duck Breast - Forbidden Black Rice / Sautéd Spinach / Cherry Chutney Sauce The duck was good and the cherry chutney sauce gave it a just the right amount of tang and sweetness. In my opinion, the sauteed spinach and forbidden rice could have been seasoned just a tad more. Capuccino creme brûlée fresh-baked cookies One more please! grappa di'moscato / nonino If you want a quick buzz or need to fill your cars gas tank GET THE GRAPPA. My friend was a VERY HAPPY CAMPER. We stumbled upon this little restaurant on our way wine tasting. We were lucky enough to get a table without a reservation for the 4 of us. The staff were extremely friendly & attentive. We tried a new wine, Black Ink, & really enjoyed it.
