Waited at least 20 minutes to get the food. I took off one star because my entree only had two pieces of lamb chop. They looked big in the picture but only four bites for me. The flavor is good. It took them around 20-25 after we ordered to deliver our food, and we were the only customers in the cafe. The burrito was soggy but edible. The textures were just all the same throughout because they combined the eggs and chorizo together. Had a few measily potatoes and that seemed to be it. You get a little side salad and some fruit. Went for a quick lunch after an appointment. Got the Half Panini and soup special. Th sandwich was amazing! The soup on the other hand was virtually tasteless. I was so excited for the tomato basil soup, I was so disappointed. The gentleman behind the doubter was so nice. Being that this spot is down the street from my place, with healthier alternative options than your regular breakfast, I decided to give this place a shot. It's building is situated by medical office buildings so very convenient for those nearby. I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I got the shrimp omelette and unlike other places where I would leave feeling bloated and disgusting with myself, I left here feeling satisfied and healthy. I ate everything on my plate including the toast and the two pieces of fruit. Pleasing and satisfying, I will definitely come back. I ordered a iced vanilla latte as well, however it wasn't sweet enough for me. I added some sugar which I usually don't because I'm used to lattes being made to my liking of sweetness as they usually are. This cafe is located in it's own building within the middle of a Haug medical complex. They serve breakfast and lunch. I came in for breakfast around 9am on a weekday. The place seems to get a steady stream of customers, primarily from the many doctor's offices. They must be thrilled to have a cafe so conveniently located. At the risk of sounding like a lout, if I were single I'd hang out here to try to meet one of the steady stream of cute nurses who come in for a coffee or snack. I ordered the Caveman Breakfast and also a banana nut muffin and latte. Within 5 minutes I had my food, nicely presented on plates but with plastic cutlery. Scrambled eggs, a steak topped with chimichurri, a side salad, fruit slices and toast were on the plate. The muffin was on a separate plate with both butter and jam. The latte was presented in a to-go cup. The muffin was delicious, moist and tasty. The latte was standard but served much too hot (but perfect for folks to take back to the office). The eggs were light and prepared in thin strips; good once sprinkled with pepper. The fruit was fresh and included a yummy slice of roasted tomato. The salad had a wonderfully vibrant vinaigrette that brightened the greens. The "medium rare rib eye" was well done and chewy with a few pieces of gristle - difficult to cut with a plastic knife - and the chimichurri was bland, which I thought was an impossibility. Ultimately I see W Cafe as a dressed up diner. Everything looks cool and well presented but the food is nothing special. read more

I went to this cafe with my friend and first of all, the prices were crazy. However, I understand prices have been pretty drastic lately but for my food to come in with not that big of a portion, I was understandably annoyed. We both also got coffees and it tasted burnt and we asked them to remake which they did but it still sadly was not better. Talk about a hole in the wall bakery and cafe! I was dropping off a family member at the hospital nearby and went for a walk around the parking lot, what a pleasant surprise when I stumbled upon Cafe W! I ordered an iced latte and was a little hesitant after the price was about $6...I added caramel flavoring to a plain latte and didn't expect much but I was blown away at the flavor this coffee packed. I'm not sure if it's the roast they were brewing or the flavor they added but it was delicious, I finished it in record time. I don't know when I'll be in the area again but I'd love to try something from their lunch menu which was packed with options. Found this place via Yelp and decided to check it out for lunch. It is located in the same area as the Hoag Urgent Medical center. There is ample parking available due to the hospital or medical offices in the area. There is outside and inside seating. The salmon was nicely grilled and seasoned, but the salad part was soggy from too much dressing. That was my fault though, I should have requested to not toss the salad. hehe.
